We have a Vizsla who hates his nails being clipped, it’s a struggle and not even the Vet could do them. I brought him in to see if they could attempt to trim them and in less than 10 minutes they had all nails clipped!! I wish I had brought him in sooner! They’re amazing!!!!

As some who visit my reviews, you know that when I give a rave review, you don't want to skip over it. Mellow Mutt is one of them. I have used many groomers over the years. Of course I've never visited them all. But in my experiences, hands down if you used another grooming salon, I say you didn't get as good a groom.My incredibly thick coated and big pomeranian, 15 lbs, is often hard to brush all the way to the skin with my every 3 - 5 day brushing.At first, it was looking like his fur might be too matted in too many places requiring a shave. However, Sara doesn't like that as an alternative, and worked through the mats instead.My guy is patient, which helped. I am so pleased, that I set his next grooming appointment and will soon be trying doggie daycare.

The Mellow Mutt never disappoints. My girls were so matted and they were still able to keep a good amount of hair on them. My dogs always seem relaxed going in to get groomed here. I have had horrible experiences with past grooming businesses and I’m very picky who I leave my dogs with, and this place is great. The Mellow Mutt is super attentive to each of my dogs’ needs since they’re almost 13 and more fragile. I highly recommend.

My dog and I love the Mellow Mutt! The staff is amazing and not only can I take my pup there to play but also to get groomed. It has been really difficult to find a groomer I am happy with, especially since my dog's Breed can be a bit stubborn and require a lot of work when grooming. Sending her to doggy daycare has been extremely helpful too! It keeps her socialized and gives her exercise during the pandemic when we can't really go to many places right now.

Our dog loves everyone at The Mellow Mutt. He's skiddish about having his nails done and about machine noises and they are fantastic with him. They use a nail grinder and he doesn't even flinch which is amazing! They are friendly, great with him and very efficient!

After our anxious yorkies being groomed at two other places, I’m extremely happy to say we found our dogs grooming home!!The staff is absolutely amazing and comforting!! Extremely knowledgeable about the animals and, to know from working at a doggy daycare before, that someone is ALWAYS with the dogs so nothing happens is also a HUGE plus!!The staff cares about their animals that are there and doesn’t force them and makes sure the animals are comfortable with them!! I can’t express enough how comfortable I feel bringing my dog there and to not hear “you need to medicate your dog.” The owner and staff makes sure before you leave that they got this! And your animal is in the BEST care!! I will recommend them all around!!! Thank you so much Diane and staff for your OUTSTANDING service!!!

The staff at Mellow Mutt is extremely professional. There are obedience training classes available, which are very informative and proved to be successful. Our dog has grooming appointments here about once a month, and the staff does an excellent job. Our dog is always excited to visit the staff here at Mellow Mutt!

I've been taking my long-haired chihuahua Gizmo here to be groomed for the last year, and Diane has been so great! She's very kind to my little dog and his haircut always comes out super cute. I'd definitely recommend this place for grooming. :)

Sara and her crew are the best. We used to have our previous dogs groomed at her place for years and love Diane and how she took care of Lilly and Charlie. Had not used the doggie day care service for those two since they were perfectly fine by themselves at home (they did not really care for other dogs). After we lost both of them and adopted a rescue „Willow“ we started bringing her to doggie daycare to expose her to other dogs and give her some playtime. Our dog loves it there and we could not be any happier with the staff and their love and care for the dogs that they care for. These guys are the best. Just came last night for the puppy play group and my puppy LOVED it. I was surprised at first to see some bigger dogs because it was labeled 35 lb and under, but the people working explained that they are basically gentle giants, which turned out to be SO true! At first, we were following her very closely because we were nervous, but everyone there helped ease her in and she totally came out of her shell and had a blast! The people that work here are total dog lovers and really made sure she was comfortable. They help deescalate dogs with spray bottles and other techniques that keep everyone safe and having fun. We will definitely be back!!

Zoeii is a Cane Corso and some are intimidated by her but the staff was incredibly welcoming and loving to her. They did an amazing job on her long nails and pig pen fur from her rolling in dirt. I am very protective on who touchs my animals but I will bring her here again.

I am so happy with my experience at the Mellow Mutt!! Hannah has fully groomed my two dogs twice now (plus once for nail trims) & she does an excellent job!! My one dog is a 16 year old shih tzu who hates having her face trimmed. She's always been a sweetheart, but once her eye sight started to go, she became more feisty with groomers & vets. Hannah is doing something right because today I was shocked when I saw my girl!! Her face is completely clean & trimmed along with the rest of her body. I am so happy I had to come give a five star review. Highly recommend the Mellow Mutt!!

I was nervous at first leaving my medium size dog anywhere as she was just 7 months old. She was shy at first but loves the staff and they love her. Every dog that walks is greeted like a long lost friend. Im sohappy that I found this place.

Sarah is absolutely amazing! I haven't even become an actual paying client yet, but she treated me like I've am! She really takes the time to listen and address every question you have. She'll give as much knowledge and information as she can and thoroughly answer your questions and provide wonderful training advice! She really took the time to help me out tremendously! She's extremely knowledgeable and professional. My one interaction with Sarah was SO outstanding that I will absolutely be a client for life with them! I will always refer Mellow Mutt to all of my friends and family!Thank you, Sarah! You are amazing!

I’ve gone to this place a few times and I rlly liked them because my girl is very timid and they handled her very well. Plus I like how they come out to get your pet instead of you having to wait in a lobby. I called yesterday to see if they could do nails today and they told me yes as long as I came between 11 and 2. I got there for 11:40 and I called them to let them know I was there and they told me today wasn’t good... it’s already stressful enough trying to drive my dog there since she’s very nervous, so to drive her back home with long nails was not ideal at all. If they can’t predict the amount of people they’re going to get and ensure that when people show up that they’ll be able to take them, then they should really do appointments especially since I showed up 2 hours before they were supposed to be done doing nails. Very upset.

The Best place for dog grooming, they did a wonderful job with my Rocky and that's a plus for me and my pup. I definitely recommend this location to all. The entire staff is wonderful and are animal lover's. Keep up the good work.

My dog had very bad separation anxiety and the wonderful folks at The Mellow Mutt were very caring and helpful. Now Gabby loves going to daycare and playing with her doggie pal .The staff is top notch.

We take our husky here for daycare and we can’t drive anywhere near here or he will be trying to jump out of the car so he can go play. He LOVES it here!!! If he is happy we are happy!!

My dog used to spend a couple of days per week at the Mellow Mutt but he hasn't been there in quite a while. Last week, he needed a bath. Badly. About 10 a.m. I called the Mellow Mutt and asked if they could take care of it. They asked if I could drop him off and let him hang out and.they would get to it by 4. When we walked in, it was like Norm from Cheers walked in. The ladies looked up and said "VINNIE!!!" He was greeted with hugs and scratches behind the ears. He came home clean and well exercised, and was ready for pick-up before 2 p.m.

My dog goes here for doggie daycare. He gets plenty of exercise and socialization during his time there. The staff is very friendly and genuinely care for the dogs.
