One the worst places to go at least the one in Torrington is. Not a single helpful pleasant person in a red bib. They don't even offer a veterans discount unless you beg! This place had multiple jacks on a shelf clearly marked $69.99 when I got to the register the price I was told was $299.00 !!! I told the man about the shelf and price and he said show me, I showed him and he said yup those aren't supposed to be there. ??? I didn't lift up all those 200lb jacks and put them there. Well we go back to the register and he repeats the exact same price, so I said forget I am not buying it for that! He calls his manager over to void the sale and he wasn't even going to mention it!!! So I did it for him. The manager repeated what the cashier said so I walked out. I went to lowes and got a bigger Craftsmen for over $120. Less that came with 4 ton jacks and was immediately offered a discount. Lets see how long that store lasts in Torrington with attitudes like that and treating customers like that. Sorry for all the typing, just had to vent! That seriously almost put me in a bad mood! I think most of these reviewers were paid or they are just not telling the truth. Dealing with Customer service for most of my life... it is nearly impossible to not have a mixture of opinions and experiences.

Great prices on tools, as well as any needed pet supplies. They carry most farming supplies, including animal feed, as well as veterinary care essentials. Equine riding gear, and equipment to saddle, and ride horseback. This is a new store on New Litchfield Street near Torrington. The staff is very helpful and eager to be of service. The store is meticulously clean, and very easy to get around in. This is a welcome addition to the Torrington and Litchfield area.I'd highly suggest stopping in. Their Grand Opening is December 2nd 2021.**Update: The store is pretty well stocked and running well.The associates are very friendly and helpful. The store is clean and and well kept.They still have all of their Covid precautions in place.

I brought my dog to the store for the first time. She got a few treats and everyone was very nice to her.Picked up some dog toys and food.Store was clean and the associates where attentive and helpful.Parking lot is easy to pull into and park.

Live in a camper full time and ran out of propane while at work due to an unexpected gas leak. Called 1 hour ahead to ensure they had propane and could get filled. Drive 30 mins to be told they were sold out. Business hours are until 8 pm and every time I fill I’m told they have to check if propane is still open. Usually arrive between 6:00 - 7:00 pm.

I love this tractor supply for so many reasons. Clean, affordable, great service tractor supply hits it on so many levels. And the fact that you can take your dog into a self-wash station is fantastic. I'll regularly browse some of the clothes or accessories on my way out of the store and invariably add something to my cart.

My favorite place to just wander and discover what i didnt know i needed, while every employee asks if they can help you, at some point. Lol. Its great customer service, even if you didnt go there looking for anything in particular.

Best supply store in town you get everything you need with good sizes, quantity and cheaper than lowe’s and Home Depot. Plus they are very helpful and friendly. Love visiting this store

Nice store, but recently went up there to give my Newfie a bath and the area to do it was very dirty. Their was dirty towels laying around the baths where not clean. do not know if iwould go back to wash my pup there again.

Nice store with a good selection of homesteading equipment. I was there last week because I have a hen with an eye injury that I was trying to treat and a gentleman, who raised chickens, showed me what they had for chicken first aid, which wasn't a lot unfortunately (especially because we were concerned about what we could safely put near her eye) but I found something and he gave me some advice and was as helpful as he could be (not being a veterinarian). I was also there last night to try on a bigger pair of gloves I'd received for Christmas as they seemed tight but not necessarily too small and the gentleman at the desk told us where the gloves were, and when I still couldn't find them and went to ask him he had someone in line so I just went back to look one more time and found them right away and he came over a minute later to see if I needed help because he saw me go over which was very nice. Overall, the staff there seems very kind and helpful.

Went for the dog wash station. Nice option. Had shampoos and towels for dogs, both were a bit low that day. But wash bins have tie offs to keep dogs in. Have ramps for getting dogs in. Blower dryer brushes are nice too. Overall good experience, I'll go back and use them again.

I love this store... We have 2 new puppies and after vet visits we always stop and get them treats. Everytime we go in the staff are so welcoming and so nice to our puppies and even take the time to pet them and love on them. Which is helping our puppies not to be afraid of everything and it helps with socializing them. Great staff and great store.

The older gentleman that worked the refill on my gas tank was knowledgeable and very nice. We hit some hiccups with charging but it was an overall pleasant experience. I wasn’t aware that you couldn’t bring in an empty canister in the store and the reception clerk was rude about it, but overall a nice experience.
