Design to Install - Could not be more pleased with this process from start to finish. Courtney came out to our home to create a complete master landscape plan; measured the entire property, photographed everything, considered the angles of the sun throughout the day, and really listened to what plants and style we do and don’t like. Originally we were going to plant everything ourselves, but the install was more affordable than we thought it would be and decided to do the entire package start to finish. Everything you see in the photos, Courtney’s tram completed in a single day - cutting completely new garden beds, removing sod, edging and shaping the beds, placing, and installing plants. Genuinely impressed by the quality and professionalism, and care to making it look great at my home. Courtney is fantastic!! THANK YOU!!

Fantastic plant and patio decor shop! We purchased two patio sets (both with two chairs and a side table) for our deck, along with a fire pit last year. Figured we would go back from time to time to see what they get in year round to finish our outdoor living spaces. Prices are fair and the selection can’t be beat! I can’t wait to get my spring/summer plants from them this year.

I love this store so much. It's essentially as if you had all the other big box stores and only took the useful items from them, and include a very happy, helpful, and friendly service, AND garden supplies you can't get anywhere else. Seriously, this place is the bees knees! During the summer, they have every type of plant you could imagine. Everything from butterfly gardens to full-sized trees to little cacti to please even the pickiest plant enthusiasts.

Holdridge’s, located in the heart of Ledyard, is really the best Hardware store around. Their greenhouse is always full year round but a must visit in spring and summer. There’s always something to discover here.

I love to stop here for all my gardening needs. They offer a great variety of vegetables and flowers along with pots, soils, mulch and everything else. If you need paint or other hardware type supplies they have a good selection. Staff is very friendly and helpful!

A little expensive but great plants and great staff, would like to see more plant selections in the fall as it's the best time to plant, but I'm happy for thier native section.I would like to see them discontinue the selling of invasive plants like English ivy and barberry.

I've been shopping at Holdridge's for more than 30 years and will continue to do so. Prices are a bit higher than the big-box stores but the quality and variety is vastly better. Staff is knowledgeable about everything from gardening to pond life to best tools and more. It's also a pretty place to visit; I could stare at their koi pond all day long. I've had two occasions where shrubs just died and they honored their guarantee without giving me a hard time. I like that I'm supporting a local business and not a conglomerate.

Affiliation change from True Value to ACE Hardware. New floor layout, way easier to navigate and find things. Everything we were looking for was in stock. Lots of beautiful flowers and shrubs. The hanging baskets are gorgeous! Tomato plants are healthy and strong looking. Already hardened so no inside/outside everyday!!

Holdridges in Ledyard, CT is a wonderful garden supply store with pretty much everything you need and then some! Pet friendly, and the staff is always nice enough to offer treats so the puppies love it!

Great selection of products. They have a good variety of grills and accessories for them. They good variety of items for mom or dad or that special someone inside and outside. Plants are very well kept and loved. They have good selection of paints and other products for your home. They also have a cool water features for a water garden! They have a much better variety of items than big box stores. I will definitely shop here again!

Holdrige’s has a great selection of plants including some you cannot find at the big box stores with competitive prices. However, customer service is not their forte.On my last two visits I asked about specific plants. I was told they were down the end of the aisle on the left. Not an acceptable response. After wandering a few minutes I asked again I was told to look at the tag on the plant for information.On my most recent visit, with no help from employees, a pleasant woman who witnessed my frustrating lack of help from employees was kind enough to help me find the plants I was looking for.I have received better service at the big box stores. Which is where I will take my business from now on.
