It’s true that this IGA is a tiny bit more expensive than the big alternatives and it doesn’t have the massive inventory as Big-Y but it’s still great.The staff is extremely friendly, it’s a stress free place to shop, the deli makes good food and they have all the essentials.I enjoy coming in here.

Love this store! Their produce is fresh and always stocked, they always have what I’m looking for - much of which is organic- and the deli is always delicious!!! The to-go/ready-to-eat food cases are always well stocked with a variety of foods, salads and sandwiches! The staff is friendly and helpful and I’ve never had a poor shopping experience at this store!

One would think that, being the only supermarket in the area, management and employees would take better care of the store, especially the deli case, where all the salads looked halfway spoiled. The sourpuss working behind the counter doesn't help the situation either. Put her to stocking shelves if she dislikes preparing and serving food.

The deli is awesome for your catering needs! We got sandwich platters for picnic birthday parties. The selection and variety is GREAT! The other hot foods are good, too, like if you want soup or an egg sandwich. We point the through-hikers to IGA for this, especially on those weird weekdays when some of the bakeries are closed.Yes, most things are more expensive than the big chains in New Milford, but if you sign up for the Davis Deals and plan your shopping around the week's deals, and get creative with meal prep of what else is on sale, you can save a lot of money (I saved 40% last weekend).

I really enjoy going to this establishment, it's not too big. Yet the selections are many and everyone who works there, so helpful. If you just want a different store to go to, I would recommend this supermarket. It's family owned and pretty close proximity to New Milford, Brookfield and Danbury.

The produce and meat are fresh and high quality. The deli selection is also quite good. I do all my food shopping there,and appreciate the frequent specials and sale prices. Very pleasant place to shop.

Friendly.They have been AWSOME throughout Covid-19 by always having the necessary basics in stock, providing curbside pickup, delivery and are always willing to look into obtaining specially requested items. Their deli and meat department is very good.Just a great little store with friendly, accomodating employees.Update 05/08/2022:Still awesome, still well stocked. Great selection of meats and the store made sausage is one of the best I've ever tasted.

This is a family run and operated market, one we're so lucky to have in our town. The owners and department heads go out of their way to obtain the very best quality products, especially in the produce section, including the organic vegetables and fruit. All employees are extremely helpful.

I love this place. Its right in the heart of Kent. Whatever you want its an almost guaranteed that you will find it there. My favourite thing to buy here is Arizona. I love me some original flavoured Arizona. Pretty affordable not expensive more than anywhere else. If you are ever in Kent make sure you stop at IGA. I promise you will appreciate the place as it really is the best place ever. Give it ago and let me know if you liked it there. They even sell flowers and the customer service is nothing but excellent. I dont even know why I didn't give it a 5 star. Well maybe because it close at 7pm lol. I live and work at club getaway so sometimes we do laundry runs. When the laundry run is on it starts at 7 so IGA is normally closed at this time but other from that I love this place.

The store is densely packed with all of the essentials, usually a few varieties of everything, but it's a small store in general, and feels a little claustrophobic and dark. I'm not sure a town this small could support a larger store, so basically it's what you'd expect, you just might need to ask for a little help to find something specific.

The DAVIS IGA is not just the local market, it is the town square. Where else can you go for your weekly supplies and get caught up with your neighbors. Employees are very helpful and quickly address you by name. Noted one review mentioned high prices but they are not part of a major chain and their sale items are real bargains! Take the 12 lb pork loin for $18 I just purchased as an example.
