It was a nice place to stop in while we were waiting to have dinner. We really enjoyed browsing the shops and beautifully quaint city of Kent. I wanted see and taste what they offer, as I do have a weakness for candy shops! I got a jolt of sticker shock when I saw the $35/lb sign, but figured we'd just get a few pieces to try. Considering the sign that referenced an old family recipe, we were excited to sample a few of our go-to faves: (2) dark haystacks, (2) dark pecan turtles, (2) dark cherries, (1) milk peanut butter cup, and since they were out of toffee, we splurged on a Rooster leg(?), or Rooster drumstick, I don't recall. $39.85 was the total and I nearly choked. I perused the bags of gummies, but at $3.75 for a tiny bag, I skipped anything additional. There was a lovely local woman enjoying her coffee that struck up a friendly conversation with me which made the experience all the more pleasant. The staff were friendly and helpful, but the prices are outrageous, especially since the chocolates turned out to be, "Ok". They're certainly not bad, but the next day we still have most of it left, when I usually make myself sick overindulging. The pieces are fairly large, and the one variety I did not enjoy were the chocolate coveredcherries. I ate one, or half of one, rather. They have a decent product, just not anything special. At that price point, it left me with a higher expectation and a fair amount of disappointment. Still worth stopping in, though. Sorry for sampling the rooster piece before taking a pic. 🤭

Wonderful Christmas decorations and atmosphere! Terrific service. Friendly staff. Great cappuccino. Must see “Santa’s” safe. Bathroom deco is unbelievable. Very creative.Parking: No parking issues

A wonderful shop with fantastic staff and great food and beverages!! We loved that they had vegan ice cream and chocolate bars and everything we tasted was incredible, including the potato chip covered chocolate bars, blueberry chocolate bars, and graham cracker covered chocolate bars! Also loved the luxury hot chocolate! It was certainly top notch! Make sure to check out this shop, you will not be disappointed!Dietary restrictions: Vegan ice cream and chocolate bars!

Like always, this place is a great choice for coffee and pastries, but also they offer a great variety of chocolates, Easter bunnies, and eggs, beautiful decorations!!!Parking: Parking in the front and in the back.

Lovely place for a cute date. It's a candy store/coffee shop with a decent selection of truffles locally made in CT. Their strawberry lemonade is SLAMMIN. There are board games to play so you can hang out. There's also a fire you can sit at. My new favorite place to to go when I go to Kent.Update: when you get the candy, they charge by the pound. I found some candies I'd seen on instagram here. I wish they had more sour/gummy options 😭

Just enjoyed an "afternoon tea" at 45 on Main with my best friend and her two-year-old. The staff was very friendly, kept checking on us, and there was so much food with the "afternoon tea" that I took some of it to go! The food was absolutely delicious at such a great price. My favorite is the cranberry, grape, and I think it's brie? sandwich. Very kid friendly atmosphere with crayons for coloring and games to play. Also, lots of photo opportunities with how decorated this place is for the holidays. 10/10 recommend and we'll definitely be coming back to try more flavors of the finger sandwiches and even some of the other food that is on the menu.

Everything was indeed delicious, but a wee bit over priced (the chocolates that is). No sign that I saw stating what the price/weight was. A few pieces of chocolate covered ginger, kiwi and papaya ($10), + scone and latte was $20 in total. Nice seating outside, which faces a road with about 20 power lines to look at. :) Kent should invest in underground power lines.

We stopped in for soft serve today, they have some things to work out but all in all it was really very good ice cream. The renovations inside are beautiful. The two men who were doing all the work while the other employees stood around and did nothing were exceptional workers. I wish I got their names to give them a proper compliment!I do wish they put the tables back outside in the back, there were some adirondack chairs but that doesn’t do much for toddlers having ice cream. (Hopefully they just removed the tables for sidewalk days)I know they only have what looks like two cash registers, but if the extra staff isn’t going to do anything they would be better off only having the two employees there. The two employees doing all the work were fabulous, friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We were there for at-least 30 minutes. Four (maybe more) employees just stood in the same spot in the back doing absolutely nothing the whole time we were there. The line was so long, that wasn’t fair to the two exceptional employees doing all the work.
