I came in on February 1st to get a fairly specific Valentine's arrangement delivery order in for my special someone, especially knowing that I was going to be away for work on Valentine's Day.I only asked for a dozen long-stem reds with some stargazers integrated in a vase; other than the flower choice, I was not specific about arrangement details at all, nor did I even get any visual ideas of what it would look like.She was OVER THE MOON about the arrangement and said "gorgeous" was not a strong enough word to tell me how beautiful they are!! I have yet to even see them myself, but how happy she is with them tells me EVERYTHING!! (and she's a botanist and floral enthusiast!)Between how happy she is, the customer service and assurance I received when I placed the order, AND the efficiency in getting the delivery made to a part of Griswold where plowing and salting are a luxury and not a necessity (not to mention a tough to find house), JCF&G NAILED IT!!Thank you very, VERY much, guys!!!*EDIT/UPDATE* Photo received from her next day- I definitely couldn't be happier!!

Called them this morning and had the pleasure of speaking with Louis. I requested a same day delivery of flowers, he said no problem. He took my order, processed it and had the flowers delivered quickly. I cannot express how impressed I am with this company. In these times when customer service is just lip service, this company actually delivers! Not to mention that the flowers arrangement was gorgeous.

I had the worst experience with this florist, spent over 200 dollars on flowers and in 2 days the flowers are drooping and most of the larger flowers falling off stem. So I called and all they could do for me was fix it..Poor customer Don"t waste your money with this florist. The quality not worth the embarrassment..

Very friendly staff. I would have rated 5 star but half of the cut stems of flowers died overnight. We prepared the stems and vases as told by staff. We were told flowers would last for one to two weeks 😢

Wow, wow, wow! Jewett City Greenhouse is amazing, they catered to my wedding needs to the point where I didn’t even have to think of what I wanted. Lou Demicco Jr was absolutely the best! He knew exactly how I wanted my bouquet and my wedding parties. They came out amazingly and I will recommend them going forward. 10/10 experience! Thank you so much!!

Louis and team do an amazing job with their arrangements! Flowers are fresh, beautiful and last! They have live flowers also, bought my mother a hibiscus from them 7 years ago now and is the only plant she hasn't killed, more of a miracle then anything but still another great purchase from Jewett City Florist & Greenhouse

I recently delivered here from Canada.I was greeted by enthusiasm freindly people. We all worked together. And fished the delivery. Great experience.As to Jewett city it a very neat town to visit. I would have loved a title tour of there greenhouse and florist.

I moved to Voluntown from Dayton, OH in 2001. I do not remember just how long it took me to find Jewett City Florist, but I immediately felt that the quality of my life had improved significantly. There is little better than a bouquet of fresh flowers or a beautiful houseplant to lift one's spirits, and I have been purchasing both from this high-quality establishment for years. I cannot recommend it more highly.

Once again, Jewett City Greenhouse knocks one out of the park. They had never done one of these before, but didn’t just say “nope, sorry” as most places would, I was told give me a few minutes, let me see if I can give it a try … they ended up doing better than other photos I had seen online!
