They’re a descent vet. Probably a lot better if you don’t have multiple dogs. They have a very hard time keeping things straight and having you jump through hoops, and can’t follow up appropriately when ordering meds outside their office, yet won’t price match either. But I have 4 large dogs. If I had one, I’d probably like them more.

Subpar practice, bed side manners, and standards since business has been sold. The only saving grace are the vet techs and receptionists that have stuck it out through the rift which might be one or two at this point. Do not recommend if you want quality of care for your pets. Also, they have jacked their prices up. Some medications have almost doubled in price.04/23 ALL POSITIVE REVIEWS FROM A YEAR+ AGO ARE FROM BEFORE THE BUSINESS WAS SOLD. This review was before the business was sold and all vets were replaced: This vetinerary clinic is top notch. All of the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. This is the first vet that I've found that doesn't extremely stress out my dog. I always know that he is in excellent care while there. They also go out of their way to make sure any of my concerns are addressed and happily any questions that I have. They have even been able to fit me in on short notice when my boy had an issue with his leg. Highly recommend to any one looking for a great vet!

I have 4 rats, we have had to see them a couple times, each time the staff has always been great! Even if I only talked on phone, the vet always was great to me and my babies!! Both times with meds having to be taken, someone always calls to check on them!!❤️

I brought my chicken, Annie, in and it was a great experience. The doc and tech handled Annie with care and respect. She was diagnosed and treated and is back playing with her sister Joanie. I highly recommend Dr Holdmeyer. Very nice office staff.

I would not recommend taking your pet too higganum Veterinarian Clinic they do not seem passionate about helping animals. all their concerned about is their schedule. I had an appointment this morning and I was running 25 minutes behind. I understand if you have to take other clients ahead of me, I would have waited patiently in the lobby for an opening but this woman was rude and refused to do any anything for me. Whoever she was she's bad for business whoever owns higganum veterinarian clinic should read this. I would think there would be some way to work it out but she refused any alternatives. If your heart is not in it to help animals you should get out of the veterinarian business. If It was a routine checkup I wouldn't mind rescheduling but when there is an animal in need not to make any exceptions is heartless. I'll never go back there. Letting your ego get in the way of working something out is senseless to me. beware of going to higganum Veterinarian Clinic.

This is one of the best experiences I have had when it comes to veterinary care. My little fur baby is my everything and she was treated like that by the staff. They also made me feel that I mattered as her caregiver. If you have a fur baby they are the ones to take care of it.

Love this vet. I take both my cat and dog here. They have reasonable prices, clearly care about the animals, and always treat me with respect! I would recommend this place to any one.

We love Higganum Vet. I stopped in unannounced one day when I suspected our 10 week old Great Dane had a UTI. I had pee sample and all - the doc was in the waiting room and took my Daisy right in for an exam. I'm happier with each visit to Hig Vet. Super friendly, knowledgeable staff and they won't sell you on unnecessary treatments. A+ in our book. Thank you and see you in a few months!
