I felt disrespected by one of the cashier because i bought headphones yesterday n i wanted to to return them for my refund because i already got a pair n then the lady said u cant return electronics back thats our policy but i read the policy n it said that unopened eletronics can be return or exchaged for the same one. Opened Electronics cant be returned but still can be exchanged for the same one. I will be contacting the business bereu n they will be getting shut down cause i dont like nobody disrespecting me n they be talking bad about others in spanish too n i dont like that either because i treated others with respect n that family dollar dont treat there customers with respect so i hope that no customers fo to family dollar on franklin aveThank you.

Franklin Ave Hartford ain't customer service ready they have a lot of disrespect towards those who come in the store always claiming someone stealing or keeping them hostage in the store or going after them 2 blocks away cashier's dont get breaks oyif it's convinent to them not even they lunch break this store do as they please when they want untill the boss shows up drinking etc there's a lot of discrimination goin on in this store wit mental health etc they ju DS he is hers a lot and talk about a lot of people these managers need to be fired or suspended a lot of my one missing who is rhere to blame. Cashier's no only assistant managers store been threatened and robbed cause those working ..enough said

Customer service very rude I went to family dollar get few items there was no bags and the lady was like in a bad mood so I pay for everything but I left some items at the counter and she don't let me know I called the store to go back but no one answer the phone

It's usually pretty well kept and the cashiers are for the most part friendly 😎 UPDATE they cashiers are all puerto rican and act like they can barely speak english especially when they over charge you and you catch the mistake they ( Manager included who usually sits on her butt and watches until they ask her...smh)this has happened twice and i choose to never spend a penny their as long as shes manager and their employee 😏

Good, low-priced selection of name brand goods but the aisles here are still crowded, though the floors are at least cleaner if still cluttered but the shoppers don't help by leaving thingscwhere they fall. The relatively recent renovation and upgraded layout seems to work much better but there just seems to be too much of everything (but I guess most of us can live with that, LOL). Waits for cashiers are better, with 2 or 3 clerks generally on hand. The parking... "area" however, is still perilous though the huge potholes have been remedied a bit. The entrance is still foreboding & more often than not, trash strewn.Simple fixes that would go a long way? Clean up the trash & tidy up the aisles. Easy.Also, someone please clearly mark and monitor handicapped parking spaces here. There's an accident waiting to happen to people who are already facing enough challenges as it is.

Terrible service from the managers. They always have only one employee at one register. Even when the line is crazy long. It’s ridiculous that they do nothing but have one person handling all the angry customers. If I can give them no stars I would. Definitely not going back to spend my money.

It's okay. Much better grocery options in this location in comparison to surrounding value/dollar stores. Can easily get off track from your purchases and end up buying significantly more.
