To be sincere i go here everyday the people talking bad on this family dollar eithier got caugth stealing or dont like the people working there they have awsome customer service. Even tho its in one of the hardest parts of hartford i give props to these people working there its not eazy having to deal with as much as they do

Terrible experience! I ordered on-line, took 3wks,when I went to the store the employees knew nothing, had no idea what I was talking about. Even told me they don't receive packages there. They even work with no managers. The phone has been busy for three days so far. They're so stupid is hilarious. Never again!

This Place has No where near 4 Star Service, This is For a FACT a Bold Lie, Who is Training these People!!? Just Because this Store is In the City Does Not Mean they Should Hire Just Anybody..The Customer Service is Bad REAL Bad..IF Your Gonna Hire People like this Give them Training.A Cashier Should Never tell a Customer they are not Permitted or Don't want to give a Manager that's on Dutys Name. An Employee Should never fear Retaliation but then Again the cashier was just as Rude..

Manager upset when I used manufacture coupons! She refunded me for the items that I already paid! So I asked for the coupons back! She said no! Manager is extremely rude with no respect to the customers! This location needs a new store manager with better customer service attitude! Why work at a retail store that accepts manufacture coupons and got upset! She does not qualify to be a store manager base on her attitude towards customers! Store manager is extremely rude! Be aware of! She is a older lady in her midst 50s. With dyed blonde hair. Very rude looking.

This place has a decent amount of merchandise. But the customer service stinks. Employees standing around having loud convos in Spanish. Only 1 slow person at the register with a line full of people. The store is messy. There are 0 carts or carriages the last 2 times I came. People using mop buckets an garbage cans to carry their purchases. Every time I come in here it's for 1 or 2 last minute things and I always regret it. They need a lesson in professionalism.

Find alot of useful items I wasn't looking for today.Good place to shop they just need to keep the sharks away from the door.This is the name for beggars at every plaza where dollar stores are located.And the sad issue is it generally able body men begging women/with or without children for money.

Horrible customer service! They are always on their cell phones. Not knowledgeable about any products or sales! They refuse to allow active sales because they do not know how to ring in the deal, so instead refuse money to the establishment. Ridiculous!
