It's ok, the only problem is they run outta stuff fast... *Update, they fix the floors but the automatic doors are still defective one works the other needs to be manually opened.

I went with my sister to the supermarket (Family Dollar) she bought some things she wanted, so after buying everything she wanted we went to the cashier.{Note: She had picked up items that exceeded the amount she had "20 dollars", I I warned her that the amount would be more than what she had in hand} We waited a few minutes for us to be served, at the cashier, as expected, the amount was 1 dollar and a few cents more, so my sister asked them to cancel an item , so the employee at the venue got mad that my sister asked for a cancellation. The employee humiliated and disrespected my sister in front of other customers and other employees, she gave a hate speech, causing my sister to feel embarrassed and hurt. Right after finishing the hate speech she started to speak in Spanish with other employees {Note: I'm from Brazil, but I understand spanish and english very well} she complained and humiliated "again" my sister, but she said with more words agrecias "she thought I didn't understand" but I was understanding everything. I want an apology from the store and the employee, if not I will be forced to appeal in court.

They have redone & reopened the Family Dollar. Looks clean. Reorganized to reduce theft. No zombies at yesterday's visit. (Except for the zombies across the street)

This store is located near my house which is very convenient for me but its an eye sore. Garbage scattered in the front as you walk in, plus the flooring is terrible. Seems like no one cares about this store.

It was beautiful and the cashier was friendly. Actually, this was my first time at the store and I like it. Also, I reacted with four stars because I almost fell on my way there, and I thank God I was okay.

Only 2 check out cashier's and the wait is incredibly long because usually only one is in service. The staff is a rude bunch of kids with no respect for the customer. Some of the staff don't even speak English and all of them seem to be on a power trip because they have jobs at the store. Otherwise I usually get whatever i am shopping for. Bottom-line it's a ghetto store in the hood (bad neighborhood)

This store is always crowded because their is ALWAYS only one person on the register. The staff does not care about the consumer and I do not think headquarters does either. Doors are usually not working and have to be pushed hard, which is not easy for someone with a handicap. Today I witnessed an elderly handicap man attempt to enter the store. He had a difficult time pushing the door open and needed assistance. When another customer tried to help, the machine used to detect shoplifters almost fell on the handicap elderly man. The staff was all behind the register, and made no attempt to assist. I hope that I am wrong but I think this is happening in this area because of the neighborhood. But I'm sure corporate researched the area before opening a location there. Walgreens and CVS are located near by and they have struggles with the population but their staff is always attentive and respectful, and repairs are made quickly so their consumers are not at risk of getting injured. Respect the location and its people. Enough is enoughIts been years and nothing has changed with this store. I think its time to close this one down. ITS DISGRACEFUL!!!

Walked up to the front doors and saw an overflowing garbage can next to them, which was the epicenter of a giant trash mountain that had now formed. Good start.The inside wasn't much better. The place spelled terrible, for one. It's readily apparent that maintenance and hygiene had long been abandoned. Some areas of the store look like they had just been ransacked, with scattered items all over. I realize that it's mostly the customers that make a mess or don't put things back properly, but that's true of any retail establishment. That's why you pay people to pick up after them and prevent your store from smelling like cats go there to die.Despite the chaos, there was a huge snaking line to the ONE register that was open, so understaffing is likely the problem, as it so often is. It's possible there were other employees around, sleeping in the back, but I can't say for sure. Management clearly hasn't been to the store in months, or doesn't care, so why should the staff? The chain is worth billions, but can't spare the cash for its low-wage staff to come in for a few nights with some mops to make the place look remotely professional. Yee-haw capitalism.And you can't just blame 'the neighborhood.' After ditching this dump, I went right across the street to Walgreens, which was clean, staffed, and well-organized.Have some pride.

Staff is very rude, needed to speak with manager because of over charging and they directed me to three different managers Then told me to come back in the morning at 5:00, to speak with another manager. This happened 1/31/19. I am going to hire an attorney and sue for the money. Because they are so rude, they speak spanish about the situation so you don't know what's going on, they have no customer service skills, they look out for each other, the lines are lone, with one register open Whit three people walking around. And you really need to be speaking englisj while working in any business in North American.

On the 26 of February, 2020. Line piles up fast, there’s 5 workers but only one person handling the cash machine, one person complains aloud, cashier overheard the man complain and tells the worker next to her, I hear the 2nd worker say in Spanish “they can wait”. Not very professional, productive or nice. I guess this is what happens when you hire ghetto people, the business turns out ghetto.

Ive been going to this store for a couple years now and I think that they having been making efforts to improve there store. Most they employees are Hispanics, I think that they should hire other ethnic groups to help the customer service. My own opinion and I don't mean to offend anyone. I find that when I go to stores that everyone is spanish for some reason it always seems that the customer service is poor. I feel it's because its bias. They dont treat they own people that way. Most people who would say its poor are not Hispanic and the most who would say they had a good experience are Spanish. Take notice. I personally go in and out. I dont do too much asking because the staff can come off annoyed by the questions. They only have 2 shopping carts though in this store FYI if u trying to do big shopping and get heavy things. Go to another Family Dollar because the shopping carts arw hardly available at this location. They need to spend some of they money of shopping carts and a way to stop the homeless from taking them out the store. Makes it really inconvenient to shop.

Sadly the cashiers care more about their personal conversations between one another. They are quite rude.Customers are left standing and waiting for them to finish before they serve a customer.

After spending my money, I asked if I could use the restroom. They said it's only for management,and employees only. Ok, against the law,, then I speak to the manager,,, her name I can't prenonce, nor could understand her lack of English.. But I did understand her telling me no, can't use the bathroom. So I said in my best language possible,, I WILL CALL CORPORATE HEAD QUARTERS, THEN MY FAVORITE LAWYER AND SUE YOU FOR DISCRIMINATION!¡!! OH I JUST HAD SURGERY ON THURSDAY, STILL HEALING AND THAT DID NOT CONVINCE HER!!! BUT LAWSUIT, AND DISCRIMINATION CAUGHT HER ATTENTION... SHE'S SPANISH HER SELF... SO THAT I FIGURED SHE WILL UNDERSTAND.. YES I DID GET TO PEE... IM PRETTY MUCH DONE WITH FAMILY DOLLAR.
