December 16, 2023 around 11am. All three ladies behind the counter talking and cursing none stop in Spanish while customers walking out because the line is not moving fast enough. They are so loud. They are not working just standing there flapping their mouths. The cashier still pausing to talk with them during cashing out customers. Very poor service.

I bought dog treats, they made my dog sick I called the store 13+ times to let them know there dog treats were contaminated/bad they didn't answer a single call so I had my friend drive there for it and they told him to basically f off they didn't care

Ghetto the worst dollar store in Hartford. Spanish workers very ghetto and unprofessional. I love Spanish people but the ones who work here are trash and need training on professionalism! So sad

This Store On Farmington Ave is No Different from the Rest..l Go in to be in an Out Quick. The Prices at the Register Never Match whats on Shelf. NEVER!!! You Can NEVER get Cash Back. SO why the Hell the the Register Ask You then?. Corporate Needs to Check these Stores. An As Always Customer Service Is Non Existing. NO Surprise There.

Has to be one of Hartford most ghetto ran managed family dollar. The Latino workers are so dam uncultured it’s pathetic. Can not think with itty bitty sense they always seem to lack to have to give me a receipt or bag my items. Yikes. I meann this is my wonderful city of Hartford I expect ignorant shxt like this

All but one worker is extremely rude and they only ever have 1 cash register open with a line out the door most times. Management needs to hire more employees to make it less stressful on the current employees so maybe their attitudes will turn around. But even the managers are rude. Additionally this store does not honor the return policy listed clearly on the receipt. I do not recommend this Family Dollar whatsoever.

Very unprofessional. Main problem here is with the Hispanic employees disrespectful remarks in their own language. Just because the customers skin color causes you to assume we don’t’ speak and understand the language, does not make it right to mistreat us and think that we wouldn’t understand. Disrespecting customers at this location is common and some are store managers. Do better!

ABSOLUTE TERRIBLE customer service!!!!!!! they curse and have a lot of personal or side conversations in front of the customers!! they speak to customers any way they feel like speaking to them especially if they’re having a bad day and i’ve seen many of the workers on the phone when they’re supposed to be servicing you. There’s no customer service skills in this business AT ALL!! they take forever to service you and it’s obvious they all hate their jobs but yet continue to work there. i had a worker say if you’re paying with card go to her register. i went to her register and paid and asked for cash back and she got an attitude saying “i know you didn’t ask for cash back. this is what i get for trying to help now my drawer is short $50 and i said card only” she continued to go on and on with her coworker and when i tried to speak she kept talking over me and cutting me off. i could have turned that place upside down for her rudeness but i kindly took my purchases and left because quite simply, i’m doing better in life than this old woman. She’s missing a lot of teeth, a boatload of tattoos, purple lips, skinny and quite frankly she looks like a struggle. if you ever see her, please wait for the next cashier or leave!! so distasteful and unprofessional!! she said if you’re paying with card to go to her register NOT no cash back. she should have stated that in the beginning so no one would want cash back at the same time of the transaction!! i’ve had numerous unprofessional run ins and ugh this same place and it’s been quite awhile since i’ve came here. ran in for detergent and another disgusting experience!

I wouldn't even leave 1 star rating if I could. The worst experience by FAR that I have ever had from both an employee and manager. Absolutely no integrity and unequivocally foul. The lack of accountability and obscenity that was demonstrated definitely will be reported to the store owner and corporate office. Just sad and miserable people representing this branch location..

The most unprofessional and incompetent Family Dollar, in Hartford County. Items are never stocked, cashiers are seldom friendly, or professional. Items constantly ring up higher than advertised, and they will not honor the correct prices. Don’t waste your time here if you can help it.

The store is convenient due to it being close but.... Its a zoo on the inside. Its always boxes everywhere on the floor the cashiers are always on the phone and being loud cursing ect ect.... The lines are always super long for whatever reason it smells like marijuana on the regular ..its not so much the store its mainly the employees. Definitely non professional no matter what time of day it is

This location is not the best. The shelves are a mess and the people are rude. I was looking to purchase some head phones, while i was looking at least 3 people tried to run me over with their shopping carts. This location is on Farmington Ave. in Hartford so I guess I should not be as harsh on this review. However, it wasnt a pleasant shopping experience. The line to pay was oddly long for a family dollar, as well. I did get a great pair of headphones for cheap, but other than that. This isn't the place for leisurely Sunday shopping.

The store rotates/changes the staff periodically, and staff is usually more than happy to help customers out. But in regards to stocking shelves, very poor. Merchandise (boxes of) would be left on pallets, in the aisles for as many as two days, waiting to be put on shelves. I had to shop elsewhere, eventually having to pay $$ for gas, for neighbor to drive me to another store.

Don't go here unless you're desperately wanting to stand in line for 10 minutes. Unlike CVS, they STARTED selling cigarettes around 2014! The chips, soda and canned products are in line or a bit cheaper than grocery stores.They stock some national houseware brands, but most people are buying the house brand which falls apart almost immediately.Unfortunately, a quarter of the floor space is taken up by trash kids' clothing. Not "trashy", but stuff an Aunt buys then you throw away after one wash.

I only had one item. Cashier finished her last customer then literally looked at me and turned her back to stock cigs behind the counter. Another associate walked up and they talked among themselves then finally ringed me up. Unacceptable, will not return.

Waited in line for over 10 minutes, no one was at the cashiers like they were supposed to be. The lady working on Monday, August 31st at 7:30pm rudely tells me I should have rang the little bell. How about you do your job instead?

They are very, very rude in this store especially the manager, I didn't see any milk so I asked the guy stocking the shelves and he says that he don't speak english so I say it in spanish and he says again, I don't speak english,it was obvious that he simply didn't want to help me.So I go up front to complain the manager and another employee verbally attacked me,they called me all kinds of bad name's,even called my mother a few names,then they have the nerve to tell me not to come in the store anymore

They follow EVERYONE! IT'S A VERY UNCOMFORTABLE SHOPPING TRIP BUT I sometimes HAVE to grab a few items on the way home. Not to mention the constant bombardment of pple asking for "spare dollars" in the parking lot!

It’s a pretty good store, but it’s also pretty messy and unorganized. Otherwise there were no issues and the staff is nice!
