Shop elsewhere.. Very rude and unprofessional here! Angry black women that closes was very disrespectful and unprofessional. It is 9:55pm (Monday July 3rd 2023) and I’m just trying to just load money onto my card, there is only one person in line and she’s trying to refuse to let me in the store because they close at 10. I nicely asked about 5x if she could please quickly let me in the store because it won’t take long. After she did let me in the store she made slick comments the whole time I was making my transaction, she was cursing and being very very rude (I don’t even want to repeat here the comments that were made). She even tried to close the door with me in between it as I was walking out! Things got physical.. This woman should be fired. I tried to ask Yesenia (I think that was her name) what this woman’s name was and she refused to tell me.

Personally I love the manager I think she's great. I always come to the store and always find what I'm looking for. But this store gets three stars because of the employees. Every single employee except for one always seem to have a attitude. As a cashier I know you don't want to smile all day but don't give the customer attitudes. I come to spend my money there specifically for the manager other than that I would bring my money somewhere else because the employees are rude and they are not welcoming.

The worse experience especially around the holidays i walked in with my mom who is 67 no one greeted us nor offered us any assistance of any sort the manager was very unprofessional and seemed to be preoccupied with personal matters, thus she had no time to provide proper customer service. I will probably never visit this particular location ever again. This store lacks the appropriate business structure that is required for a successful and customer friendly environment.

Always find what I'm looking for ! Parking is a breeze.well organized store product flow.with curtious staff to assist. You with directions.and prices are good.they would have 5 stars but they have long lines at times with one cashier.

This store is supposed to close at 10pm but for some reason they are now closing 20 minutes before closing. Terrible!!

This was the worst experience I have had at any store. I spilled the ice coffee that an employee named Mika had placed on the shelf. I didn't see it and I told them and apologize. She got so enraged started swearing so we got into a heated argument. This Family Dollar is located at 615 Blue Hills Ave., Hartford, CT. Just appalling.
