Supercenter for mostly everything you need for your animals . I came in looking for a lilly pad but couldn't find one, but as I was browsing, I saw a worker; she helped me find something similar. As you look around, their are things for dogs, cats, fish,lizards, and fish; the list can go on and on. It was a nice clean store that was welcomed when I walked in.

I have used pet supplies plus for over 4 yrs for my furbaby and have always had a great experience. Today I had a pickup order and the store called to notify me that certain items were no longer available. They gave the option to substitute by coming in or refund. The guy then said he could pick out some replacement items. I agreed to that and I have to say he picked even better ones then I did. I greatly appreciate him staying with in the amount I spent already and the discount to the one item that wasn't on sale. Psp is highly recommended

My daughter and I went to pet supplies plus in Groton yesterday and had one of our best experiences ever! The team there was super friendly super welcoming and I have to say that Riley was absolutely amazing! She greeted us asked us how she could help, asked us about our aquarium at home as well as our other pets and helped us pick four of the best and newest additions to our fish family. In the past two years I have not found more incredible customer service or quality and affordable fish at any other nearby pet store. Highly recommend!

Welcome to having a pet store who doesnt care about their aquatic. Tanks have TONS black algae (super hard algae to get rid of as well) growing in every tank that it basically takes over the space that theyre shoved into. See ick, a parasitic disease that is highly contagious to all your fish. Rare to actually see these people clean and care for them. Should of took pictures of all the betta fish how they had absolutely no air going into tiny plastic cups bc they didnt poke the holes on the lid, so they all suffocated to death. Told the manager about it and she shrugged it off. They also put the wrong fish together and thats why you see fishes chasing each other, other than the fact they have no space. Peaceful fish and territorial fish obviously shouldnt be put together. What a joke of a place in my opinion. Cant stand walking into this place anymore and I wish these people actually cared about these animal that are in their care.

THEY ARE BURNING THE REPTILES. THEY ARE KEEPING THE REPTILES AT A 95° TEMPERATURE AND YOU CAN SEE THAT THE SNAKES THAT ARE SUPPOSED TO BE WHITE ARE PINK WITH BURNS.THEY ARE TORTURING THE REPTILES WITH A SLOW PAINFUL DEATH AND TRYING TO SELL HALF DEAD ANIMALS

Honestly, if it weren’t the only pet place in the area with a wash, I would 100% stop going to this place. The staff is perpetually condescending and inadequately trained, unprofessional and unhelpful. occasionally there is a friendly manager, but 90% of the time, it’s staffed solely by incompetent teenagers.So many times I’ve had to call for management backup because they simply just don’t know what they’re doing.And don’t even think about going to the dog wash even a minute after 8. It’s closed, and they can’t be bothered to clean it after you. Before you either for that matter.So stupidly annoying

I love that they have self-service bathing but wished they kept the area cleaner. This last time the small animal tub was so nasty dirty that we used the big dog bath at the expense of my husband's back.

Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They even gave my dog a free treat. I bought some supplies and asked if they had a patch for the seat cover I purchased from there a couple weeks ago. I found a hole from a box cutter. They swapped it out with a new one even though I didn't have the receipt. WOW!!

I have been going here for the past 4 years. I’m the beginning it was great. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. The place was clean and tidy. The cats that they get in to try to get adopted were taken very good care of and routinely played with by staff and cleaned the litter boxes and given fresh food and water. And the online ordering was on point. Over the last year or so it’s pretty trash. This is the fifth time In just three months that I ordered online for a delivery, prior to the 12pm cutoff for delivery same day, and my stuff was not delivered!!! The reason I ordered delivery is because I have an injury that keeps me from walking and I can’t go to the store. The poor cats the keep in the closet there are definitely better off there than on the street but they need to be interacted with daily. They need to have clean litter boxes. I have three cats of my own and even if I only cleaned their boxes once a day they would be cleaner than what I’ve seen there. I have been a loyal customer here and while I don’t expect any special treatment, I do expect the right treatment. Deliver my stuff when it’s supposed to be delivered! Take care of your animals! I’ve started shopping at Petsmart in New London lately because of this.

The store is typically clean and well stocked. The staff seem friendly but inexperienced. They do have convenient hours and a good selection of products.I usually go there to use the pet bath stations as it is the only one in the area. This amenity is disappointing because the tubs, floors and walls are always dirty and the vacuums need maintenence.

I love the people who work there. Their prices are good. I buy my fishes there and when I ask questions they are knowledgeable. Courteous too. I take my dog their for his shots very well organize . I call and order at rimes and they are just great! Very please with the location as well.

Extremely helpful staff! Extremely healthy fish as well! All of my fish bought from them have outlived fish bought from competitor's stores. My chinese algae eater is 2+ years old and going strong! I love how they will test a sample of my water for me and let me know if it's the right time to add a new fish or not. I've been turned away from buying a fish when they see my tank isn't ready. They care about all animals and that is everything a pet store should be! *edit* after showing need and interest for an updated hood they swiftly mentioned that they will price match. I thought that was extremely commendable

Everyone at this establishment is great, except for the Dr. Jennifer Webb with the ponytail at the pop up clinic on 10/2/2022. She was clearly never trained to handle cats, and was also very rude.

I was having trouble getting my reptile to feed, so I asked them (after I asked several chain stores) and they gave me great advice!! My reptile ate for the first time in 2 weeks because of their customer service. They're amazing and I feel they bend over backward to make sure your pet (whatever it may be) is well taken care of.

Our quarantine impulse ended up being buying an aquarium. We were fortunate enough to have the manager with a beard help us design our tank. He knew his stuff and our fish are happy in their new home. Will be returning to this location for future care for our new pets.

I really needed cat stuff and they had everything. I mean - my litter is Worlds Best and not only did they have it in one size they had it in a second size as well. It’s a tough brand to find sometimes. We were on vacation when we ran out. Thanks for being a life saver!! They have decent prices and helpful sales people.
