While visiting my daughter and son-in-law in Greenwich CT they had their dog, Mia, groomed today at Professional Dog Grooming. Mia is a Labradoodle with a thick curly coat. The groomer at Professional Dog Grooming went the extra mile and the end result was a beautifully clean and groomed dog. Thank you Professional Dog Grooming!

Its a small local business with women that really care for the animals. After one appointment I was on a first name basis with them and they always remember my dogs name. They do a great job cutting my dogs fur and even give him a walk before or after the grooming process. Most importantly, my dog is very nervous and they notice that. They take time extra time out of their busy schedule for him to feel comfortable. This reduces his anxiety, making him move less, thus allowing for a better haircut. They are professionals, its in the name. I would recommend to all dog owners.

6 weeks ago I took my Cairn terrier for grooming, it was the worst haircut I have ever seen. Never go there again.

I have never taken my pet here, but I was sitting at a red light in the street and could see in the store. A beautiful spaniel type dog was being groomed. I was horrified to see how violently the woman yanked the tangles out of his/her ear. The poor dog was flinching, and even turned its head toward her and appeared to whimper at her. She just grabbed the dogs head and turned it away from her and continued the yanking. I would never take an animal here, and am hoping someone knows who the groomer working this afternoon (May 12) around 2:00 pm. I plan to try and contact the shop tomorrow and report what I saw, but I see they are closed until Tuesday. Only putting one star, because I have to put something. It's a shame how people treat animals when they think know one is watching. :(
