I rarely write reviews, but today is an exceptional case! I want to express my extreme disappointment with the service I received at your store today. My son and I visited to purchase meat and cakes for a holiday celebration, but unfortunately, our experience was anything but pleasant.Upon arriving at the store, we were forced to wait approximately 15-20 minutes, just to ask about purchasing cakes. Despite our patience, no staff member came but we asked the workers to help us. The girl who was selling strawberries nearby smiled and said - wait). Frustrated by the lack of attention, I approached the checkout counter to seek help, only to be met with hostility from the cashier girl.Not only was her demeanor extremely unfriendly, she also displayed a complete lack of professionalism. She stepped on my foot, didn't even apologize, and headed towards the cake section, she asked what kind of cake we wanted, but when I said that we needed 3 cakes, she responded angrily, stating that she was only a cashier and incapable of assisting us. To make matters worse, she rudely demanded that I remove my service dog from the store, despite providing her with the necessary documentation proving its status.As someone who values calmness and avoids conflict whenever possible, I was utterly shocked and appalled by this encounter. Consequently, I chose to abandon my intended purchases and leave the store immediately. It's worth noting that I had planned to spend between $300-400 on goods today, but due to the unacceptable treatment we received, today your store lost a client who spent about 1 thousand dollars a week.I'm always waiting 5-10 min to purchase a cake, but today 20 min is simply unacceptable, especially for a store with prices like yours. I had hoped for a pleasant shopping experience, but instead, I was met with incompetence and disrespect.As a dissatisfied customer, I will actively discourage friends and family from patronizing your establishment.

Fun place to find off-the-beaten path gourmet items. Expensive. (But so is Whole Foods). I feel like you get a more unique experience at Balducci's though.

I’d love either a cheap(ish) local grocery or a fantastic great quality place where I could splurge. Instead, how about horrific day to day items for double the cost! Almost all pre-made food tastes worse than ShopRite’s. Pls avoid so we can get a better company here.

Incredible array of fresh veggies, fruit, take out dinners, and desserts! I'm from Kansas and visit Greenwich/Riverside area often...My friend and I find this an amazing place to shop! Thanks so much Baldacci's!

They have very good produce and premade food. I also enjoy the baked goods. You can find many high end products here, but I usually can't do a full grocery store visit. Minus one star because while I understand higher end products are more expensive, I feel like some things might be a bit marked up for what they are.

Quality is gone. They sell ice cream "pints" that are half full and dried out. Read the ingredients in their salads! Chemical after chemical after chemical. There is hardly an ingredient you'd find in any kitchen. This store is owned by the same company that owns Acme and Kings. Very little here that is organic. And very high prices!

Now that Acme owns this store it’s really funny because there’s an Acme half a mile down the road ….but the prices for the same produce are 30% higher. And the produce is the same horrible stuff that they sell at Acme In fact everything is approximately 30% or more higher than acme supermarket….But at 8:30 in the morning you can see the Acme truck delivering the product to this store on the way to the supermarket lol… you know what they say a fool and their money are soon parted

the place is quite small but it is very complete in groceries and food. The staff that attends and works in the store is very friendly and really very cooperative with customers. further They have service with Uber so that purchases can be made without having to go to the store and that they are online, it is one of the things that seemed very good to me. definitive I would go back to the store again and highly recommend it.

Not sure what happened to the old Balducci‘s? The produce department where they keep the cut up fresh fruit in containers is always dripping wet and the labels can barely be read. There used to be a few containers that had longer expiration dates but now they all seem to expire at the same time. The fruit is not the quality that it was for many years when I shopped there. I recently bought a container of melon it was over $12 and when I got Home all of the melon was rotten and stunk to high heaven. It was beyond overripe and was was nasty and foul!.The shelves are not stocked as frequently as they used to be, new less expensive dairy products are replacing old favorites… Starbucks dark roast refrigerated coffee is no longer on the shelves. Yesterday: Poland spring sparkling water in orange flavor (or other Varieties) were nowhere to be seen.The bread aisle by the bakery has also changed and the great sourdough bread that they used to carry which was excellent has been replaced with an inferior product that has no taste or flavor. Shopping here is no longer a necessary part of my three times a week trip. I guess I will have to look elsewhere perhaps Whole Foods. What a shame! If it was sold to a new owner… Take heed as you will be losing longtime clients as you change over to less Expensive brands. If it’s not broken, don’t fix it!

Been there many times. Always find something new that I want to try. Love the Guacamole 7 layer dip.Lately we have been getting the soup. When I had the flu I got the chicken soup & delicious and made me feel better.The veggies and fruits seem to always be fresh, and they have a pretty extensive cheese selection.Prepared meals are a plenty and are reasonable. We have had a few. Some things can be on the expensive side, but for the most part you can always find something.Store is super clean and the staff has always been helpful and friendly.

Love love love this market. Gourmet for sure, so don’t expect a huge variety of produce or a staples selection. But if you’re looking for a delicious grab and go meal with incredible dessert selections this is your place. Excellent coffee selection, deli, bakery and right next door is great beer and wine.

Called asking if they were hiring for the summer… got immediately hung up on. Perhaps you aren’t hiring, but you owe prospective employees some respect. Rude, disappointing, and a horrible reflection of Balducci’s as a whole. People, take your business where the management has manners.

Very good food but it is expensive. They have a great sandwiches. You can select all the parts of sandwiches. They even have so very good tasting per made sandwiches or the made food bar. They have alot to pick from and they will warm it up for you. The lines move very fast. The bakery also makes great cakes and brownies. Once you try it you will be hooked. The only thing to limit you visits is the price. They also have nice cheeses and wines. The parking lot is a little small.

The groceries are fresh, and the takeout selection is terrific! They have spices, etc. that you can't find anywhere else. It also helps that the store is adorable. Better yet, there is a Balducci's wine store next door that has an amazing collection of extraordinary wines!

My fiance and I absolutely LOVE this store. The aisles are a bit cramped which is to be expected. With that said, they have a very eclectic selection of excellent foodstuffs befitting a "boutique" grocery store.Try their black bean and goat cheese tacos. They are amazing. Like walking into a candy store ,oh bakery smells ummm, glorious produce just seeing all the wonderful colors that nature provides us with. Those hard to find spices there here too, and anything one can imagine to put on a cracker, I am sure all will have there own special find. Happy New Year!

Fantastic Staff, each Department...there a few that go above and beyond...and they keep me successful with each trip to the grocery store. I really appreciate their kindness, helpfulness, and smiles.The potato salad is my favorite. The 7 layer dip is good too. Both are in house.The Mezze bar is delicious. The stuffed grape leaves, wheatberry salad and chicken are spot on each time.They have a little of everything, for a boutique grocery store.

Great selection of higher end produce but on the small side so won't ever have everything you're looking for, especially if you need some staple items beyond the meal. Wine shop is fine - decent selection, also small, with knowledgeable staff.

This is not your ordinary grocery store. Balducci's is more like Whole Foods or Fresh Market. You can expect to pay premium prices, for premium quality products.

Made a trip over for the BBQ they advertised. I got there and asked where the BBQ was? What BBQ? A couple cold salads and micro tastes. The manager said they couldn't make a fire. Then why publicize a BBQ with a grill fired up? You loose your credibility one step at a time.

Very nice boutique grocery store. They sell only food items and prepared food. EVERYTHING is expensive here. They have a liquor store attached with a separate entrance but same ownership.

Excellent quality food overall . But very pricey. Bought a whole cooked chicken from Balduci's that was dramatically undercooked. Very surprised and unusual. Good quality though.

Greenwich-This is the best location. The services is great. I have catered for many of my company events (A&E StamFord) and the head of catering Charlene and her team is awesome. Always get great reviews .Thank You
