I live in the area and use to like coming here for breakfast. Today changed that experience!! One breakfast platter came out 10 mins before the other. The first platter they forgot the toast and by the time it came the eggs were cold. My pancakes had very little chocolate chips and blueberries and the blueberries were oddly hard. No check in to see if the food was ok and no refill offers in tea or coffee. The two young waitresses sat talking while the owner ran around serving.

The Gaylordsville United Methodist Church was closing. We asked for the Gaylordsville Diner to cater the luncheon afterwards. We had Chicken Francese and Lasagna. It was so delicious!!!! Louis and his family went above and beyond with the food they made. They treated us so well. They made a very sad day end on a brighter note. We cannot thank them enough!!! God blessed us with the diner and we ask God to bless Louis and his family for treating us like family. THANK YOU!!!

Had breakfast. Food was okay to good. Could be hotter (temperature wise). Would go again. It's a diner, so don't know why Google talks about 'Atmosphere'. Don't need to see motorcycles hanging from the ceiling - just good hot food.Kid-friendliness: Saw kids there - they were relaxed.

We were a large party of 21 (9 kids 12 adults) for breakfast after a hockey game. They were hustling to get out drink orders and take our food orders. They definitely weren't ready for us! Food was very tasty and the 2 waitresses were definitely overwhelmed.... however they were awesome and rolled with it! Definitely recommend this place if you're ever in town! Even if you aren't with alot if people!

EXCELLENT BREAKFAST, the service is superb. Very friendly. We have family in Gaylordsville, CT. We decided to take our Niece and Nephew out for breakfast, so we went to THE DINERand we were not disappointed!Up Date 5-19-23We returned to Gaylordsville, CT to visit family again. And again we had breakfast at the Gaylordsville Diner. Service was a little slow due to lack of employees. The breakfast again was excellent. It a great Diner, nothing fancy and comfortable seating. I’m sure we’ll be back again.

This is a homie, small town diner. What they lack in atmosphere and size, they make up for with good service, and good food at reasonable prices. They have wine and beer only in terms of alcohol, but have a surprisingly robust menu. Enjoy!

I stopped here with a bunch of dudes in town for a wedding. We were approx. 6 people and the kind server quickly accommodated us. We ordered a bunch of different food and from the look of things it was all good. I got a breakfast burrito that was bigger than expected, but delicious and perfectly grilled before serving.The decor leaves something to be desired if you need to eat in a nice place. But it's exactly what it needs to be - it's a solid local diner.

Had lunch there today, it's our favorite place to eat. Food is always good, reasonable and fast and friendly service. They are very accommodating, if they have the ingredients they will make whatever you want. Very clean and comfortable.

We took a chance here while driving through west Connecticut after visiting the Appalachian Trail and Kent Falls. We are sure glad we did! It was delightful. It's exactly what a small town diner should be and some of the best prices we've ever seen. The bacon egg cheese breakfast sandwich on an English muffin is our top recommendation. Freshly made food and terrific service.

Had the sandwich and macaroni salad special 4 lunch. Excellent!! Waitress was pleasant. Nothing bad 2 say but, because it's a dinner could not go 5 stars, but 5 out of 5 as far as diners go.

Very cosy place. The food was very good. However, it took a half hour to get my order. The place was busy, so I would give them the benefit of the doubt, I would get my meal sooner next time. The waitress was very apologetic and extremely nice.
