Excellent staff! I brought my Leopard Gecko here before Dr. Chase retired. If another exotic vet were to be hired there, I'd return in a heartbeat!They were always patient, knowledgeable, and clearly loved the pets they cared for.

Dr. Marco is amazing! She is knowledgeable and helpful with my cat’s weight issue. I really appreciated her suggestions as well as the new diet plan. Dr. Marco also spoke to us about our other cat, even though the appointment was for the other. Brittney was a wonderfully friendly vet tech who put us at ease right away. This past week, my pup Cooper had some infected paws most likely due to mild allergy to the grass in our yard. He chewed up one pretty badly, and was limping. I called my previous vet and learned they had closed down for good. My next call was to Advanced, and let me just say. They were by far the most competent, sweet, patient, comprehensive & accommodating group of women. Not to mention fair priced! They happily checked out come bumps on my guys body and assured me they were nothing to worry about for no charge! I will continue to work with them in the future as well as refer them to everyone I can. Thank you again, all! <3

Up to today we’ve had good experiences with Advanced Vet. However, we’re anxiously waiting to hear of biopsy results. We were told the Dr would reach out today either by phone or email and received neither. My wife called the office and the Dr was gone for the day at 4:00pm.

Advanced Veterinary scheduled my pet for a next day semi-urgent appointment.Treatment was explained and options and course of treatment discussed.Medications were prescribed and filled on site.I am extremely happy with the way everything went.

We have been taking our pets here for years. Always friendly, respectful and professional. I know they are not an emergency vet clinic, but when we called with a sick pup, they were able to accommodate quickly. Thank you so much!

Our 3 year old French Bulldog was a patient of this office and we brought her in because she was sick and not doing well. They took x-rays and did an ultrasound. The office could not figure out what was going on so they gave her some medicine to see if that helped. As the week went on she did not get better and we tried to bring her in again but it was very hard to get an appointment. They recommended bringing her to ER so we did that and they also could not figure out what was going on. After a week a mass started to form on her stomach so we called the vet again basically begging for them to see her. They would not get her in and again said to bring her to the ER. I was told that all they could offer was a call from the doctor at 5PM. They also told me that what was going on was not good and it was an urgent matter, yet they could not see her. Another few days went by and still no answers after several visits to the ER. Finally they discovered a 6 inch wooden skewer in her which has also punctured her stomach. She needed emergency surgery to have it removed. I find it shocking that neither our vet nor any of the ER visits were able to determine that this foreign object was in her body. We spent thousands of dollars for visits, surgeries and follow ups. She has still not recovered 2 weeks later and they are not sure if she ever will. Clearly it was not obvious to any of the Vet's what was wrong with her but the reason for this review is because this office did not ONCE call to follow up and see if this issue had been resolved. After the surgery I called to let them know what had happened and yet they still did not call to check on her and see if she if she was recovering. Clearly we will never be back but hoping that this does not happen to anyone else in the future.

Dr MARKO! I have been a customer here since 2019 and Dr Marko has been such a pleasure to take care of my cat Joon.. the office staff and techs are great. My cat has been there a lot over the past several months and prior to Dr Marko coming we weren’t getting anywhere to solve the issue with the provider she was seeing primarily. I was given Dr Marko for an appointment and she did more to try and figure it out and to suggest more to try and treat this issue than we had before. She is kind, and listens to you and really truly wants to help your pet. I highly recommend her and this practice. They don’t nickle and dime you and try to sell you something you don’t need. Great vet practice!

My 83 lb German Shepherd, Jazz, tends to be somewhat of a "wuss" when it comes to going to the vet or having his nails trimmed. Everyone was very patient with him and even got down on the floor trying to trim nails and take blood as he crouched under my chair! The can of cheese smeared all over the table certainly helped! We'll see you again, but hopefully not before his next annual wellness check!

I have a rescued maltese he went for his first Da2pp shot with me and Dr marko who was excellent it went without issue , my dog dusty did not move, whimper , attempt to bite he was perfect because he is a rescue and tends to be nippy huge accomplishment when I returned the vet tech said you can't come in this is a tech visit I said but he will bite if I don't go he is very insecure without me she refused to let me come in for a place that says they are big into not giving dogs anxiety or fear that is exactly what this accomplished by being adament about not letting me come he was scrared , anxious afraid, and guess what she had to have me walk to the door with him looking back at me the entire way. I did not want to let him go without me I knew it wouldn't be good. She comes back with him and says it did not go well, he tried to bite and everything, I was livid. I said I told you this would happen so I went inside to get my refrund because they didn't even give him his shot. I said I told her this would happen all you had to do is let me come in. Nope they wouldn't let me. I said this would never ever happened with Dr. Chace running the show who owns this now corporate, I said to myself that explains it . Corporate. I have gone to this vet for 15 years with my Shiba inu Hunter and he had mutltiple surgeries for cancer of the jaw and a skin cancer later in life till his final days and I was never treated like this , they told me to calm down and go sit in a room and someone would come talk to me and the tech even asked if I wanted a refund of course they never even gave him his injection. A lot of unnecessary fear for my dog dusty when all they had to do is let me in with him. Being a rescue he is very insecure with anyone but me easy remedy let me go in with him for the visit what was the big deal. It has changed the vets are excellent the tech with the purple hair not so much.

First time I ever was to this veterinarian. I have a little chihuahua, after getting shots and a checkup along with 6 months of flea and tick control it was $480. Then I had to go back in 2 weeks for follow-up shots which cost me another $37. I was told to go there by a good friend, he told me they were good veterinarians and good priced. First off I have had many dogs in my life, 100 lb Shepherd, 60 lb Pomeranian mix, another 100 lb Shepherd, and more. I have never ever paid so much for any one animal in my whole life for a vet visit. And to make matters worse with covid I could not even go in with my little Chihuahua which was scared as heck to go with somebody else that he never met before into a building that he's never been in before without me, which he has never done that before either. Never leaves my side.Only time he has ever had to go through something without me was when he was neutered .....As far as being a good veterinarian , this I cannot tell you either , I've never met the person so I don't even really know who was taken care of my animal when I was not with him.As far as price is concerned over $500 for regular shots and a regular visit with 6 months of heartgard and 6 months of flea and tick control ,for a 6 lb , Chihuahua is unbelievable.Completely and utterly ridiculous!!To sum it up I will never go back there even in an emergency situation........I feel as if I was completely taken advantage of because of the situation with covid and the way everybody is just lazy and not wanting to do their job the way it used to be. Kind considerate introductions, and being able to be with our pet while these normal appointments occur, after all our animals are part of our families, I like to be reassured and see the person that's going to be dealing with my dog and be with my dog while these procedures are happening after all it was just a visit with no emergency or no troubles, my chihuahua, named (littleman) is a very happy and very healthy Chihuahua.I get asked where I take my animals to be treated, but I will suggest against this place for anybody to bring their animal for any reason whether it be an emergency or normal visit.I brought my littleman to Hope clinic in southington which is now closed unfortunately, it cost me $220 to have him neutered and all the shots that were needed !!!!!!!HOW THE HELL DID I PAY OVER $500 TO HAVE JUST A REGULAR VISIT WITH ONLY 6 MONTHS HEARTWORM, AND FLEA AND TICK PREVENTION !!!!!When I told the friend that told me to go there, how much I had to pay and that I could not even go in with my littleman, he was blown away, he stood and looked dazed for a minute before looking at me and said (oh my God that is just insane).I said I know right !!! that's almost half of my whole mortgage payment !!!By the way , I saved him from an abusive family. And only ended up paying $100 for him!!!Can you believe it ??Only 100 bucks !!For this cute and very happy little dog.Hence the name (Littleman) !!!!Good luck to all reading this. They were all jagged and sharp.I didn't ask for them to cut his nails,They didn't ask if I wanted them to cut his nails.I know they needed to be trimmed. But I use a rotary grinder it makes his nails nice and smooth and rounded.If they asked if I wanted the nails cut I would have said no.If I wanted them to cut the nails I would have told them to do that but I did not.

Advanced Veterinary Care — particularly Dr. Chace, but also Dr. Daly and the whole staff — cared for my beloved companion for over 14 years. I moved around the state during this time, but continued to make the drive to AVC due to the quality of service they provide. From routine visits to dental surgeries to diagnosing and managing a severe heart condition, they did a fantastic job. I felt like they really cared about my sweet angel and I think she was able to live her best life in no small part due to the care she received. I highly recommend AVC.

The caring, knowledgeable staff made our family feel right at home. Our appointment was taken right on time, and the room was clean and spacious. The doctor and staff were thorough, answered all of our questions, and the bill was very reasonable. We felt safe and secure in such welcoming hands.

Don’t go here unless you want miscellaneous charges on your credit card. The receptionist demands a credit card and then if you refuse says ‘Maybe we are not the right place for you’ Then when you give them your card, you have charges on your card that you can’t pinpoint:.. RUN & AVOID

Both Sami & Dr. Sylvestre we're absolutely great with our cat - who had been abandoned, never saw a vet before, and was rather scared. They were gentle with him, explained everything to me very well, and I look forward to bringing him there again in the future.
