Doctor: Dr. Amy Damers not only a very knowledgeable professional, but a genuinely good human being. We’ve had her as a vet for almost 10 years. She promptly follows up on each visit and checking in to see how my cats are doing. She explains everything in detail, and in a language I could understand. She actually listens to me, and is highly empathic to the issues my cats have.Staff: Always friendly and welcoming.I had previously had issues with their long wait times, however it seems to change in the past several visits. I was in and out!

We moved to the area last year with our amazing 16 year old pup and had many strong recommendations to use Sand Road as an animal hospital. We cannot be more grateful for the care, support and love we felt for Gus and us his family as we said goodbye to our beloved family member. We have so much gratitude for everyone at Sand Road specifically Dr. Dana.Last month we welcomed a new family member Poppy and she is already in the exceptional care of Dr. Dana and her team. I feel so fortunate to have moved to an area with this incredible resource. We’re looking forward to signing Poppy up for Enrichment class!Also I must mention, the facility is spotless and I am particularly impressed and grateful for the strict Covid-19 protocols in place.

I’m editing this review because the response from sand road is not accurate or true!!! Complete lies of what exactly happened. Please read my entire review about the experience during tthia difficult time of losing our young pup. And we’ve been clients of sand road for years. NEVER have we been treated this way. This is on Ian office issue that the company needs to look into, but they won’t. They’ll put the blame on the client like they did here. Absolutely ridiculous that they won’t take accountability for their staff and their mistakes. They should do more investigating and talk to the front desk and billing department. I can provide names and dates of when we were there and who we spoke to at EVERY appointment about the bill. Told NOT to pay and to wait. Ok, so we wait. That doesn’t make the account past due for over a year. Train your staff if you don’t want them telling clients to ignore the bill until help is provided. I made it very clear in my review what the front desk and billing department told us. They know exactly what they said. We were open with our communication at every appointment. Your staff failed at their job and someone needs to take responsibility, but they won’t. I’m not sure how this place has an average of 4.6. Maybe its employees are doing reviews for them. Absolutely the worst animal hospital ever!!! Money, money, money. These are the three things they care about. My daughter has used them for years and unfortunately we had to put my her 3 year old frenchie down. The bill grew and we tried everything to save her for months. We were told not to worry about the money and see what the foundation could help us with. My daughter was a full time nursing student at the time , so money was tight for her. Every time we went in we were told by several front desk staff, doctor and the billing department (Ida) to not make a payment. Although, I did make some payments and so did my daughter. We know we are responsible for the bill. That’s not the issue. The issue is we were never told what the foundation could help with until October. Several months after our pup was put down and they decided to send the account to collections the same month the foundation made a (small) payment. No phone calls, no mail statements. NOTHING TO HER. She now has a $7k bill in collections. Before this time, my daughter called them twice to update her mailing address. It’s still not changed. We could have set up a payment plan because like I said, we know that we are responsible for the bill. I’m in the process of fighting this with the credit bureau and better business bureau as well. This place needs to be reported and are responsible for ruining my daughters credit. We’ve made several calls to them and Ida claims nothing can be done. We miss Dr. Dave, he would never have allowed this. They should be ashamed of themselves. Don’t go here.

Have gone to Sand Road for both cat and dog pets. They are fabulous. The vets are caring, professional, and thorough. All staff extremely helpful and courteous. Special kudos to dr Stephanie James who has guided me with 2 of my pets through difficult diagnoses. Her compassion, care and candor were greatly appreciated.

The day after Thanksgiving I was able to get an emergency appointment for an extremely sick cat. Dr. Stephanie James was kind, compassionate, thorough and answered all my questions. She also made all the arrangements for a visit to an inpatient setting.

Our terrier mix received excellent care during her annual exam at Sand Road Animal Hospital. Dr. Jen Jones was thorough and kind, and called personally to give us feedback on test results -- even though the news was all good, and no follow up was needed. The staff at Sand Road was helpful and pleasant, and appointments run on time. We're happy to have such a great veterinary practice nearby.

Unfortunately, my normal vet was not able to see my puppy but with one call to sand road they told me to bring him in immediately. Thank God I did because he ended up having a 108 temp and if I would’ve had to drive him an hour to two hours away to an emergency he would’ve ended up seizing before we even got there!! But instead, I was able to go 12 minutes down the road to Sand Road they got us in soon as we walked in the door Vet was with us within 2 to 3 minutes soon as they took his temp and realize how high it was they immediately rushed to get him cooled down And bring down his temp. They put water under his skin to hydrate him. Did x-ray blood and tests by the end they ended up coming up with amazing treatment plan and we were able to take him home that night and monitor him ourselves. It’s been three days since by the next day his temp was normal and he’s getting better everyday!!!! one of the best things was I made it clear that I only had X amount to spend and they worked with me and even though they knew I may not be able to pay in full they still did what was best for my dog and worked with me THANK YOU SAND RD YOU SAVED MY DAUGHTERS PUPPY!! a big thanks to the worker with the neon green glasses. She helped in every way possible and answered all my questions.with understanding compassion smiles, and hugs!!!

My fur babies have been going to Sand Road for more than 15 years. 8 dogs, 4 cats and one guinea pig.While I have dealt with all of the doctors, front desk staff and vet techs, I especially prefer Dr. Dave. He's a very kind man and takes his time with the animals and to explain to me findings/plan of care.I wish I could name everyone individually for the special touches they have brought to our lives, but I would feel horrible if I missed a name. That said, a special shout out to Vet Tech Elizabeth who was able to get my girl Cali's nails trimmed yesterday during a sick visit. This is an incredibly huge deal as Cali is one strong little fighter when it comes to nail trims. This was a wonderful surprise and I'm so thankful to the entire team at Sand Road! You guys are the Best of the Best!

While visiting from out of town, my chihuahua puppy, Ollie, injured his eye. It was a pretty scary injury as it can lead to blindness, if not properly treated. I called vet offices closer to our location in Sharon and no one was able to see us. Sand Road Animal Hospital’s Dr. Brittany went out of her way to accommodate us in her busy day of surgeries to examine Ollie. She was kind, very knowledgable and helped us get the necessary medication to heal a corneal ulcer. I was also very happy with their more than reasonable pricing. If I lived in the area, I’d happily drive a little further to take my dogs to Dr. Brittany.Thank you very much Dr. Brittany and all of the Sand Road team!
