Stopped in for a beer and a snack since I love the cozy relaxed ambiance of this place, and I hadn't been here in a long time. Shocked when we got the bill to see that the beers were $10 each. Yikes! And despite a lineup of about 6 craft and local brews, many of them were mediocre breweries and there weren't many appealing options. Get some Great Falls on tap! The calamari were good, though I prefer a traditional batter...These seemed to be cornmeal-dusted. Will come again to try burgers / dinner.

Excellent dinner. Great balance between comfort food and fine dining. Burger and pork loin were both excellent. Great atmosphere in the tap room.

Unfortunately, this is the first time I can relate to the occasional reviewer that states they couldn't give zero stars. But I'm getting ahead of myself. My wife and I were on a day trip in the area photographing waterfalls and around dinner time stumbled across the Falls Village Inn. It had a wonderful outdoor patio dining area that caught our attention and a quick scan of the online menu revealed a number of entrees that sounded appetizing so we decided to give it a try. I believe we arrived right around their start time for dinner and there was only one other couple seated in the patio area. We were greeted by I believe the innkeeper and were asked if we had reservations, which we didn’t, but they were able to accommodate us with a small 2-person table nicely located under a shade tree and directly in line with the entrance the servers used. As we perused the menu 3 to 4 other parties started to arrive and were also promptly seated. From the chit chat between the new arrivals and the staff it was clear that many if not all the parties were regulars or friends/family. At this point no one had visited our table although every server had to pass right by our table including the innkeeper. Then we noticed that all the other tables had been greeted, given water and had their drink orders taken. Still, no one had arrived at our table or even acknowledged our presence except for the one time the innkeeper walked under our tree and collided with one of the hanging decorations and they made a funny comment about it as they passed. Soon all the other tables (4 to 5 at this point, that all arrived after us) were receiving the drinks they ordered and their food orders were being taken. After sitting there for 20 minutes with zero attention from staff and watching everyone around us being served and interacting with the staff, I can honestly say that my wife and I have NEVER felt so unwelcome and ignored from any other establishment we’ve ever visited. After another 5 minutes of being completely ignored, we got up and left but did enter the front of the inn to express our disappointment with the experience. One of the servers and the innkeeper were at the greeting station as we entered and the server recognized us from the patio. We explained why we were leaving and the server responded that they were just getting ready to serve us. The innkeeper stayed silent the whole time. Unless you’re interested in starring in an episode of the Twilight Zone (yes, our visit was that strange) or you’re a regular or family/friend of the inn staff, you may be ignored and made to feel unwelcome like us. There are plenty of other excellent establishments close by so don’t let this negative experience deter you from visiting the area. We did visit another area establishment that evening and we were welcomed, promptly served and our food order was brought out by the chef. The experiences that night couldn’t be more polar. I’ll be submitting the 5-star review for that other establishment soon…

Never stayed over . Service at the bar was good last time I went about 9 years ago . Because your in the general area of a place Google automatically thinks your were in the business . We were outside looking over the cars that were in the parade which started at Lime Rock Park last Thursday , Aug 31st , 2023 .Google please pay less attention to our personal lives . Stop following us , Google . Stop.

Quaint intimate atmosphere. We sat at a table in the bar area and our dinner and service was delicious. I had the pasta with shrimp and the shrimp were large and not overcooked. If you are there on the weekend for brunch take a drive around to the falls they are beautiful and the scenery is terrific in any season. Places like this are the reason we returned to New England. Great service too.

Inside Covid dining, at its best with their clever plexiglass bar protection! Limited inside dining but take out is available and worth it. I enjoyed a perfect salmon dinner served on bed of lentil salad and spinach, my companion had a succulent pan seared duck breast with haricot vert roasted potatoes. Delicious! Wonderful cocktails too.

Lovely historic Inn. I went to restaurant after a concert at Music Mountain. A delightful wrap around porch on which one can choose to eat looking over beautiful landscape.Service A+,nice menu including local produce. Fresh fish and poultry. Good hamburgers. Nice wine list. A bit pricey but not for the quality.

Very quaint if you like that kind of place. Old fashioned rustic furniture, tilted painted wood plank floors. Restaurant was decent but not great. Nothing modern about the whole place... On a positive, plenty of pillows, linens and towels and we're of good quality.

The Cesar salad was very good. The chicken entree was ok but for $24 you would think they could throw a piece of bread in. We sat in the bar area which would have been fine but for the crying toddlers sitting AT the bar. Overall this is an expensive restaurant in a strange little town.

Food and service are excellent. If you are fond of 70s Top 40, make sure your table is right off the bar. Butcher paper over tablecloths was crinkly and noisy. Still, I'd go back for the very good food anytime.

My husband and I just spent the weekend. We needed a spur of the moment get away and it was just perfect. We were welcomed by the owner Sue Sweetapple and she couldn't have been more accommodating and friendly. The room decor was in New England Country style and comfortable. We had dinner in the tap room. We started with tasty cocktails and had ordered the duck breast and the chicken respectively. Dinner was delicious and the service was attentive and friendly. I'm still dreaming about the chocolate creme brûlée for dessert. Highly recommend both the accommodations and the food.

This is a beautiful historic inn built in 1834 and redesigned last year by Bunny Williams. Just check out the rooms and see for yourself how gorgeous they look. They've also got a great restaurant featuring american classics and a tap room with some great beers.

Had an excellent Easter meal on Sunday. The barramundi with olives and tomatoes was spectacular; nicely cooked, great flavor and well presented.Hope they switch to summer hours soon!

Definitely get the ethereal gin. Don’t be afraid to order French fries as an appetizer. Oaked Chardonnay is also a good bet. Many options for Mac & cheese - I like it with veggies instead of ham.

What a great menu. Their bar area looks like they've kept the tavern area intact for a hundred years or better. Very cool spot to grab a draft.

The B&B has perfect ambiance at a fair price. The only drawback is the missing of a "real" breakfast... Other than that its perfect
