Wow! Wow! WOW! Beginning to end an incredible experience! I'm a Sexton at a small Catholic cemetery. Our donated X 300 finally died. Went in looking for an S240 because they had one and it was in our budget. Met Brian he listened to our needs and suggested options. The X354 was delivered today! Finished the job in half the time!

I’d like to say thank you for always being there for me when I need assistance. I’d like to especially say thank you to the counter guy that’s always there helping me out. He’s always very helpful and helps me out when I’m unsure of something. Went and bought a chainsaw chain from him today and like always he was amazingly helpful.

In November, I worked with Lorraine, their Office Manager to take care of a customer service matter. Her responsiveness and care were equal to the staff you see on the floor daily, top notch. I really do appreciate the care that was given to me and I encourage others to patronize this local business.

Purchased a brand new zero turn mower from Ellington agway. Mower was delivered to the house quickly. There was an issue with the one they delivered. Emailed them, next day they called and setup a new one to swap out no hesitation.

Great find! All the garden farm and pet supplies I need plus some really cute decor and they never make me lift feed bags! The best!! I've also bought chicks here, very healthy birds

I purchased a 100 series lawn tractor. I had it serviced annually. But on last service I requested the drive belt be replaced. The tech said belt was fine and my transmission was bad. After I had another certified tech look at mower. He clearly saw the drive belt was cracked in 3 spots. He said the belt definitely needed to be replaced and the transmission was fine. I have since upgraded to an Exmark. I will never trust John Deere again. They were only in the market to sell me a new machine rather than correctly diagnose my problem. Shame on you. The machine is with a new family and they are extremely happy.

Disappointed 😞. I have been a customer for over 20 years. I love the in store shopping experience for my gardening and pet needs. Lately, the customer service and friendly staff are hit or miss. Sadly today's visit was another miss. The person checking me out was a long time employee. I requested a specific kind of rabbit food which was unavailable. She did offer other choices but was not clear if the item I needed was no longer being sold or was just out of stock. Typically, they special order or offer a timeframe for when they will be receiving the product in. Based on the attitude, I was not feeling comfortable asking if they would let me know when the product would be in. Rabbits have extremely sensitive digestive tracts so changing their food suddenly is not an option, especially for my 10 year old bunny. Both my daughter and I left the store feeling like our business was no longer valued and we would be finding a new place to shop.

Always a super friendly staff and great choices to choose from pet food, sprays, fertilizers, and yard equipment.Love that they understand young pups and realize it takes time for them to become acclimated to the store environment. I am ever so thankful for that as it has helped tremendously with puppy training.

I have been going there for 18 years and counting. I think that it's about time that I tip my hat to them publicly. They have an outstanding and caring staff there all around from our pet needs, to the lawn and garden power equipment staff that is second to none.Please keep up the good work. Awesome local store. Always helpful and offer tips if need be. Had a flat tire on my john deere. Took it down and was called a few hours later. All set. Kinda pricey but what can u do?

Awesome store, awesome service. This place makes the "Big Box" stores look very bad. I just went there for some grass seed and I was asked by 3 different associates if I needed any help. This has never happened to me in the "you know who" places....ever. They were very helpful here, and even brought my bags of grass seed out to my truck for me! And speaking of grass seed they carry, in my opinion, the very best grass seed money can buy, Jonathan Green brand. Those "Other" places do not carry this brand. So thumbs wayyyy up to Ellington Agway and the crew there. They are the very best!!

Great store. Very competitive prices and their plants are high quality. Rewards program is a nice bonus. Forget the big box stores, these guys load all your soil/mulch/fertilizer in your car for you. Makes shopping so much easier.

Great store for pet and gardening supplies.They have reasonably priced oxbow hay and millet. Also a great selection of dog treats.They can test your soil and then recommend what to do to optimize your garden. Many racks of seeds to choose from to start your garden. I’ve never had a problem with getting the seeds to sprout.Staff are friendly and helpful. They can help load larger items into your vehicles if you ask.Leashed well behaved dogs are welcome at this location.

I love this store!! I go to pick up my dogs specialty food. They have awesome gifts in stock! Fun to browse their new items. I love that they carry local products and gifts, etc. Staff is always helpful and pleasant!

Called them to ask if they had a part we needed for our tractor. They said they did went down to order it Steive came out with the part we needed went into the trailer and fixed it right away.Was able to get back to work the same day!!Good service and the mechanics know what they are doing.

They do a pretty good job servicing Stihl equipment. They also do exchanges with old equipment. I bought someone's used snowblower from here for a descent discount but you have to time it right when they put those items out.

Been a long time customer since 2013; bought my John Deere x300 tractor brand new from here; serviced religiously every year by them for 8 years; no issues until 2021. A recent experience with the service department has convinced me to go elsewhere. I had an issue with my mower deck which caused me to bring it in for assessment. I am aware of the $50 assessment; which I had no issue with. I was told that my old mower deck was bad, blade shafts were bent, deck shell was rusted/bent; and required replacement. I was quote $1100 for this work. I confirmed that the replacement part came complete with a new deck, spindles, blades, belt...etc. Basically all new mowing parts. They did extend a discount for this because it was expensive and unexpected; bringing the cost down to $975; which I was appreciative of. I thought about buying it online where it was cheaper; but opted to buy/support local because they know the machine and have serviced it for so long. A couple weeks go by and hadn't heard anything; so I call for a status check. I was told that everything would be ready soon. But John Deere sent them only the mower deck shell only without all the other parts. I was told not to worry and they would transfer all the old parts over from my old deck; which I was previously told was bad. I never authorized the use of the old parts; nor did they call me to inform me of the incomplete part coming in. I asked if there would be any discount because this is not what was agreed, and they said no. I asked if they had the other new parts on the shelf to make it right. They said yes, but that it would cost an additional couple hundred dollars. So I asked why they could not get the parts right from John Deere, and they said there was nothing they could do, there was a parts shortage, and it is what it is. Frustrated with this; I told them I don't want the deck and that they could keep the bad one. This was not what was agreed upon from the beginning and that someone screwed up; and I was getting stuck with the bill and getting an incomplete repair. I never agreed to the use of the old parts which were supposedly bad. As long as this review is...I inquired with another John Deere dealer who ordered the parts; everything came as described; there was no parts shortage; and it was installed within 2 weeks for several hundred dollars less. My theory is someone ordered the wrong part and they didn't want to eat the cost. It's too bad, because they are the most conveniently located John Deere dealer in the area. They seemed a bit frustrated that I decided not to proceed; but there was a severe lack of communication on this job and I wasn't going to get the short end of the stick on this. It's not right. Does 8 years of customer loyalty mean anything? They tried to pull a fast one on me and screw me bad on this repair.

good selection of stuff for the ranch & service is normally good/helpful. however the one time i had a prob they let me down. I bought a bunch of bell peppers (all clearly marked as such), and some turned out to be jalapeños.. which i have no interest in. I called to complain, not that i really wanted an exchange (too late) or a refund (i would've turned down) but turns out i didnt need to worry, as the worker (who gave me the ol "im not a manager, but how can i help you?") immediately blamed the vendor & said something to the effect of not sure what we're supposed to do about it.

Steven from parts department was very helpful and nice on the phone. You had our v-belt in stock, how lucky for us. Workers in the store are all very nice and helpful. Steven greeted me at the register, helped me with another part and I was off to our lawn. I live in Enfield ....and could buy on line.... but I enjoy Ellington Agway's service ...and of course merchandise too.
