Sarah and crew at Golden Dog grooming are just the best. She gets back to me quickly to schedule appointments and has been very accommodating with timing so we can pick up our pooch on the way home from work. Our 50lb lab-mix Mannie always comes home SO SOFT and smells clean, but not like he's covered in fragrance like some of the bigger box stores. She also does a great job on his nails! Highly recommend their services, their prices are fair and worth every penny.

My pup is horrible with nail trimming/grinding.. takes myself grinding while and my husband holds him and he still tries to pull his paws away.. we are both sweating and exhausted by the end. The girls are great with him, takes less than 10 minutes and he behaves well for them! So happy we can take him here and not have to deal with trying to do it ourselves!!

I have a miniature dachshund and it's been a year-long battle for me between trying to trim her nails myself and finding a groomer willing to put up with her. Many groomers wouldn't even see Delta after hearing how much of a struggle she can be. Right from the beginning, Sarah was super kind and understanding. She was so gentle with Delta but still got the job done. She did such a good job of keeping her as calm as possible and took time to comfort her and build trust. I've been recommending her to every dog owner I know, she deserves the business and your dog deserves the great treatment! I'm so incredibly thankful to have found Sarah and look forward to our monthly nail trim visits.

Sarah is the best dog groomer out there! We've been bringing our dog to her every month since we got her last year and I'll never try to do it myself again. Now, we say "Do you want to see Sarah?" and she gets excited. Before when I said, "Do you want a bath?" she would run and freak out. It is clear how much Sarah loves and cares about dogs. She's thorough, considerate, and Marcy always comes back looking incredible.

The woman who owns this place is positively unhinged. Believe the reviews you read about her being rude, condescending and downright cruel to customers.I have been taking my dog here for over a year without issue. Prices always seemed fair. Today, I brought in my dog and dared to ask a question about price increases, my bill from last time, waiving a medicated shampoo and some communications that we had about my bill this time and was absolutely verbally accosted by this woman.She started by screaming at my over the phone. It went on for so long that I actually had time to drive the 5-10 minutes to the salon and walk in to her still screaming at me (I had hung up and she didn't even know it) and finish the "conversation" in person, where she continued to scream at me and tell me I was "accusing her" of giving my dog (with allergies) further skin issues because I wanted to skip the medicated bath this time. I was not, I just wanted to skip the medicate bath this time... She also claimed to have called my dog's vet (which I'm not even sure is ethical) and ask the vet if they said the medicated bath was an issue.I don't think it's unreasonable to ask questions about pricing and waive elective treatments for my dog, but apparently that's a deal breaker for her.She seems to be financially strapped as outside of insanity this is the only reason I can see for having such a reaction. Beware of this person!

We’ve brought our Swissy here a few times and they always do such a great job with his grooming and nail trim! He doesn’t like getting his nails trimmed but each time he comes home with his coat feeling super soft and his nails trimmed perfectly. I definitely recommend them!

First time i decided to bring my minature poodle for a cut and I didn't get notified that it would be $120 additional charge for small dog being matted. Very disappointed, would have been common courtesy to be called prior to or at time of drop off, so I'm not surprised to pay $212 when I go to pick up my dog...very unprofessional! I will not recommend to others.

Made an appointment for my puppy's first session. Got an 11:00 appointment about four weeks out. Arrived at the appointment and was told they could not cut him, just wash and nails, because to do it all would be too stressful for the pup. Reluctantly I agreed and then was told to pick him up in three hours. So, I was expected to leave him in a strange cage for a couple hours with a bunch of crying dogs and somehow that wouldn't be more stressful than getting a cut? I don't think so. I said nevermind and was rewarded with a condescending toned "have a nice day" as I walked out the door. I'm not going to micromanage the grooming process, but I do expect to bring my dog and wait quietly while the grooming is done. I don't expect my pup to be caged.So, from the parking lot I called another groomer who was very attentive and got my pup in three days later, even opening early to make the appointment and to reduce stress for his first visit.My review is not of the grooming service and/or quality because I cannot judge that. Perhaps it would be a five star rating, but my review is based on the fact that they could have told me these things when I made the appointment. They knew he was a puppy and this was his first cut. I wouldn't have waited four weeks for nothing. Also the idea that a cut would be too stressful and being caged for a couple hours would be okay just rubbed me wrong. It's one or the other. If you care about my dogs stress, perhaps make appointments more accurately so you don't have to cage a pet in a strange and stressful environment.Hopefully this is helpful to anyone booking a first session.

Sarah is an incredible groomer and business owner. She always puts the safety and comfort of her canine clients first. My dog isn’t skidding of going for grooming because Sarah treats her like she’s her own.

I brought my pomeranian there for over a year. Prices were a bit high but I did not want to keep changing groomers since my pomeranian has a hard time adjusting to new groomers. Anyhow, on two occasions my pomeranian came back with a ruptured eye vessel and kennel cough. I didn't make a big fuss about it and continued to bring him there. I did so because they always did a good job grooming him. However, the LAST time I brought him there I was called by the owner and was told that my dog was causing too much of a comotion that was irritating to other dogs and staff.I was surprised to hear that since he was going there for over a year and he was never an issue. I was upset to hear this so when I picked him up she started lecturing me on how to take care of my dog. Without knowing my dog's routine she told me I have to walk him more often and tire him out. She said "a good dog is a tired dog." She went on and on and said this in front of everyone that was there which made it quite embarrassing and insulting. I felt like I was being scolded! 😳I asked her if he had behaved this way before and she said yes. This was never brought to my attention although I did notice that my pomeranian never wanted to be left there as he would become very anxious. I was a bit dismissive since he is very close to me and sometimes gets anxious when I leave.Anyhow, if you have a pet that gets anxious then this is not the right place. The owner has no patience although this is necessary when dealing with pets. I was appalled and will never bring my dog there again. I initially gave this place a good review but after this experience I will not recommend this groomer. I feel soo bad that I did not pay more attention to my dog's reaction when I dropped him off. He simply did not want to be there!

I have a 4 year old husky who I've been told gets rather aggressive when trying to work on her feet. Other places had just neglected to work on them as a result. Not these guys! When I went to pick her up she was the cleanest and fluffiest I've ever seen her! Her feet were nice and neat and I couldn't have been happier with the service we got from Sarah and her crew. Will be going back and would recommend others to see them as well!

I have been with Golden Dog Grooming since the opening. I watched her expertise, and love for the dogs she works with move her right out of her first shop into the incredible new shop which she is in now at Sophia's Plaza.I would highly recommend Sarah and her staff.

The owner was very rude and said they didn’t cage the animals, however my dog was caged for 3 hours and their prices are constantly changing and aren’t posted for people know what they’re paying. Then the last time costed me $190 and on top of that my dog got an eye infection. Also, they shaved her down without my permission. Very unhappy with this place and will NEVER recommend to anyone. Shame on them.
