I've criticized other stop and shops so thought it was only fair to review this one. Shelves are full with fresh produce, meats, etc. The staff is helpful. When it got busy a manager was involved getting people out quicker. Even the cart guy welcomed me to CT when he saw I was out of state. Night and day difference!

It's been a famine for years trying to find a handbasket in the store to do my grocery shopping with. Walked in tonight to see a whole stack of brand new gray baskets right at the door. Happy customer 💯

Stop & Shop is a very well organized grocery store. It has everything you need, the store is clean and the staff are friendly. They have a robot that beeps around and is incredibly annoying, lol.I went in there and noticed that the meat selection was very limited, but that's not their fault. Prices are a bit higher than other places, but you always know you're going to find quality here.

Have been shopping here for the past 2 years, great selection of produce & products, with very friendly & accommodating staff. The florists section is absolutely fantastic, one of the best I’ve ever seen. However, I use the “scan it app” to shop & check out with & I’ve noticed items can end up in the multiples even though I’ve only scanned them once, so am now taking the time to be extra vigilant & go through my online cart before going through the self service check out. Also I have noticed that very few customers use the “scan it” device & next to no-one is using the “scan it app” on their smart phones to shop with. This means that when using the self serve check out area it can at times get quite congested, especially when customers have a large cart full of items.

I’ve been a shopper at this store for a while now and it seems as if we have individuals who have issues. Jeremiah & Christina were upstairs “monitoring” me as I was preparing to shop and when I spotted them they quickly looked away as if I didn’t notice them. Up until now, I’ve ignored the idiosyncrasies of some of the staff here but since they want me to notice them, I figured let’s give them what they want. Stop with the low key harassment of individuals who are minding their business that don’t have the same pigmentation as you two. Grab a life and mind the business that pays you which would be Stop & Shop Supermarket. There were 4 or more of them that are not shown in the picture that RAN when they realized I was taking the photo. As the saying goes, those that have nothing to hide, hide nothing. The trivial bs has to stop.

They're normally great with delivering groceries but they switched to instacart drivers and now it's a big gamble if you will get them at all. I have agoraphobia so I cannot go shopping I rely on the deliveries so having one not come because they switched to instacart really sucks for me. I have to go another day with only rice to eat since my order never came.

Still our "go to" place for groceries. They often have sales that helps shoppers save money. Employees are all very helpful. The checkout areas move along without effort. Ample seldom checkout areas are provided. Bonus points toward your next tank of gas is definitely an incentive. Finally they are located close to our home.

Do not try to return cans and bottles! The machines that are not marked out of order do not work properly either! The can machine I would have to put the can in 3-5 times before it would accept it!

I’m from down south, and had never heard of Stop & Shop, even though it has been around over 100 years. It’s a bit more expensive than what I’m used to, but it’s a nice grocery store with quality products. Plus they have a robot lol.

I’ve been shopping at the store since the day it opened as you are only 2 miles from my house. There are a lot of great selections and the customer service is pretty good. However, last night I arrived at 9:40 to buy a few things for a birthday party today.I noticed that two cars had pulled up and then left. I didn’t think anything of it until I got up to the doors at the produce end of the store and found that they were locked so I called the store and asked why. I was told that they randomly alternate locking the doors between the produce end of the store and the pharmacy end of the store close to closing time.Well, that’s all fine and dandy but I’m a lone female with a heart condition and I’ve parked at the wrong end of the store late at night.There should be large notices so customers can see and park closer to the doors that are unlocked late at night. The 2 young gentlemen manning customer service and the sole checkout were very helpful. Please address this situation so customers are not stressed out like I was last night.

Used to shop here all the time when I lived closer. Now I just run in and out when driving by and my wife asks me to pick up something. They usually have what I need but sometime it takes some time to find it. Today I found all my needs and there were enough registers open. The cashier was very nice.

Disappointed! I was a loyal customer until a few days ago. The first time I bought organic chicken meat that was expired and spoiled (my mistake for not reading the label in the store). I returned with the meat and the receipt, although in such situations consumer protection can be called because they sell damaged products, I didn't want to do that, we always make mistakes, but the attitude of the staff was deplorable, lacking of respect and indifference. I did not receive the money back or any other product. And the second bad experience was in the same Stop and shop, where, unfortunately, some ladies at the checkout are extremely frustrated. As long as a customer respects you, talks nicely to you, makes purchases in your store, I think he should be respected too. I'm a doctor, and I don't treat my patients like the Stop and Shop employees do, I respect them. In a better world we should respect each other! Ana

Produce is not fresh, and prices are going up at an improportional rate in comparison to other grocery stores. Watch prices. As an example, Okios 15gram protein was generally 10 for 10 or $1.29. Introduction of Okios 20 gram protein for $1.79 and price changed to $1.69. A of the same flavor 15 gram is still approximately $1.30 per serving. I do realize the cost of production, transport, and salaries have increased, but this is price gouging!

I actually want to say THANK YOU to the young man (who was working today around 145 pm) who was taking care of the bottle redemption room. Without even being called he knew that i was having issues with the bottle machine. I think it was a computer error. He knew exactly how to fix the issue. His customer service was 5 star quality. He has amazing communication skills. I think he told me his name was Dan. I hope Stop and Shop sees this post and acknowledges that he went above and beyond taking care of me. Thank you so much for the 5 star Stop and Shop Service.

Happy to have Stop and Shop as my nearby store. Always clean and bright. The staff is great. All except Mr Miserable (my words) in the produce section. Always givin off a real negative vibe. If he’s near where I need to go I avoid what I need. I know other people that have had issues with him. Life’s too short to be that unhappy. I’m sure he’s a good and reliable employee but maybe some customer service classes are in order. Just sayin.

SEPT 26 @ 6:30 PM and only two registers open, EVEN THEIR POS self check out is backed up by 9 people !Well right now April 23rd at 1:30pm there are long lines because only THREE REGISTERS ARE OPEN !8 to 9 people in every line complaining about the wait and the manager has looked right at us waiting in line AND DONE NOTHING TO ALIEVE IT !EVEN TEMPORAIRILY !

Nice Stop and Shop location. The staff is very good and the store is always clean. You may run into them restocking late at night or outside vendors early in the day. The one thing I have noticed is the store is always cold. With Winter approaching, I hope they will turn on the heat soon.Stop & Shop has reorganized the store and moved some items to different aisles. Overall, the store is well-stocked, well-staffed and clean.

Stop & Shop is always clean and has a good selection of Everything. The produce is usually pretty good their sales are good. You can find good deals on me as well if you look and get things on sale. The fish and seafood is usually pretty fresh . If you look closely you can find the deals and if you sign up for the app as well . Don't forget Your card but if you do Just punching your phone number. Check into go points because you can turn them into Cash.

This place is went above my expectations for a modern grocery store. I was able to get my steaks sliced at the butcher for no extra charge and a friendly manager named Wendy even helped me hand pick a cantaloupe with help from their produce expert. And then at the checkout i was blown away by a woman (i think her name was Lilian) who was like a sharpshooter of cashiers. Honestly it was the best shopping experience I’ve had in a long time.
