I came in looking for a front fixing bracket for drawers.I asked three different associates for help.One gentleman walked me to aisle 13, along the way we run into an associate that specializes in the hardware department (long blond hair, a bit older). We stop her and show a photo of the product and ask where we can find it. She stated aisle 13 midway on the left brushing us off. The gentleman told me she was supposed to escort me and show me where the front fixing bracket is but didn’t. Instead he walked me to aisle 13 and showed me where it might be to the best of his ability considering it’s not his department.I looked through the aisle thoroughly and where they suggested it might be was the “Cabinet Hardware - Drawer Slides” section. It was not there.In another attempt to get help I asked Clay at the front in the returns department where I can find drawer front fixing brackets and he pointed me to aisle 13 again and I explained that I have been in that aisle for quite a while and was not able to find what I’m looking for and would prefer someone to guide me directly to the product.He paged someone for me to aisle 13 and no one showed up to the aisle to provide any guidance.I’m not sure if the issue is related to lack of staffing but many associates are quite literally standing around but can’t provide customers any help… it doesn’t really add up. I mentioned to Clay on my way out to please pass a message to management stating the customer service here needs improvement as 3 different associates weren’t able to help locate a product and redirect back to the customer multiple times.This is the difference between Lowe’s and Home Depot… at Lowe’s there are associates who actually care to help and will not just brush you off after 3 attempts to find the same product, customer service.Home Depot, do better !

By far the worst Home Depot I go to! I use several of them in the area and this one is always dirty, inventory is a mess, shelves are empty, limited on check out registers and rude employees at the self serve checkout, unfortunately this one is convenient to numerous jobs of mine but I will be utilizing Lowes more often and it’s only 7 minutes away

We are currently renovating our kitchen. We paid the additional fee to have it professionally measured. The kitchen designer was great UNTIL we paid in full and ran into MANY problems. The items were delivered in 3 separate shipments 1 which was unscheduled. The window for the day of shipment is basically ALL DAY starting at 6am. The countertops were too long. The cabinets came without handles or pulls which were shown in the drawings however AFTERWARDS we were told that they would be extra. We would have gladly paid the fee as the cabinets and drawers do not open without them. Trying to get ahold of the sales man once he was paid was next to impossible. We had to get management involved and we are still waiting for resolution. We will NEVER do business with Home Depot again. I will only shop small businesses going forward where they actually care about the customer. I’ll definitely be contacting Home Depot’s corporate office once our credit card is credited for the items to be returned by no fault of our own. All I can say is buyer beware!!

Always have what I'm looking for, the staff is very knowledgeable and very courteous to everyone. I go at least once a month for odds and ends around the house or a tool for work. It's also less expensive than my local hardware store. Not to mention if i need something and dont have time to stop by they can deliver it to my front door. I believe its free delivery over a certain amount but i know i have never had to pay for shipping. They also cut keys. They have a great selection for gardening, including veggies and trees. I re-did my patio for $200 and it looks amazing thanks to the advice of the staff (a few helped at the same time).

Hermes the lumber associate was so helpful And so knowledgeable he helped me with everything I needed and stood with me the whole time answered all my questions and even gave me some tips on how to do my project. I will definitely be returning to the East Haven location.

Yea 0 chance I'm comming back, drove 30 min to get here because they were the only ones with the trim kit I needed only to find out they unofficially closed an hour early for an employee event.30 min worth of driving there 30 min drive back empty handed. Gas and my time wasted.

You can't get anyone to help you was told they must be on break they don't know where the person is that work in that department i don't work in this department seems thats how it is in every home depot no cashiers ring your self out and no we don't have a answer for you and the manager running there stores won't come and help you or even come and talk to you I am sure I am not the only one thats feelings this way

Shout out to the associate in the garden center named Lauren! She is the epitome of kindness, efficiency, and professionalism! Today, I was at register to ring up a large order and realized Apple Pay was not accepted. Lauren so kindly suspended my order so I could retrieve my card. I realized that I had misplaced my cc and had to run to a nearby atm! When I got back she rang me up in two seconds, I apologized and explained what happened. She then asked me if I was okay, and gave me a quick hug! Honestly, she made my day. Give that incredible lady a raise for going above and beyond. I’ll be coming back to this location because of her!

While loading supplies into my vehicle, without even having to request assistance, both gentlemen went above and beyond to make sure i was taken care of. I was so grateful for the time and patience i received I attempted to tip them to show my appreciation but in return expressed to me they aren't allowed to accept.

I was visiting my daugher from Houston TX for few days. I went with her to purchase some woods to fix her closet. What impressed me so much with this store was their customer's service. We did not have to search the whole store to find help. Works were all-around in case if you need help. This guy helping us was so cordial that he spent time figuring out the best wood we needed at the price we could afford. I will recommend someone to that home depot.

Need 1 board cut. Never have I seen 6 people stand about and offer zero help. Then I go to front desk. They will get someone. 10 mins later still no one. Then I call the store itself. 5 mins later and still no one. I wish you could post negative stars. Finally after 17 mins wow. Btw almost empty store

I called a friend that told me to use The lady in the East Haven store. We live in Shelton and drove down to meet Linda Rauccio. She was amazing I had already priced everything online but she found deals I didn’t see and saved me even more money. I recommend going to the East Haven Store for appliance purchases ask for Linda she is 5 stars all day.

This rating is based solely on my interaction with Rena at the front desk of Home Depot, East Haven cT at around 12:15 pm on 11/28/21. Can you imagine how busy the front desk is on this Sunday when I called. I finally talked with Rena and she was so wonderfully nice and helpful on the phone.. She answered my question and told me to call her back with my order & she would note it with my pick up instructions. I waited a long time when I called back and finally got her after holding over 1/2 each time, so you can imagine how busy she was. Once again, she was kind, patient and followed through for me. Although I sure wish Home Depot would staff for their volume... I am happy and grateful that I reached Rena to help me. She is a keeper for Home Depot. Thank you Rena!!

Today I went and bought some lattice that I was very sure would fit my car and was struggling to have it do so. I was ready to return it. A nice man named Julio came up and offered to help. He could of easily walked by like many others did but offered to help. We fit in the car but he then pointed out how unsafe it would be to drive and suggest loading it on top. He helped me get it up there and I secured it down. He was a huge help and I couldn’t have gotten it home home without him. I hope he is recognized.

Went recently and found what I needed fairly quickly, however finding someone took 5 minutes. And then the associate who helped me did not speak English well enough to understand how much material I needed cut. They were very friendly and eager to help, but I gave up after 20 minutes of them misunderstanding what and how much I needed, multiple measurements, etc. I won’t back to this Home Depot.

I ordered the first set, came in cracked, I came back and ordered another set, also came cracked. I had to pay for the second set before getting a refund since it was delivered. Luckily they waived the delivery fee. I have not yet get a refund and I have to order another set, I have to pay for the third. So now I am racking up my credit card, I ordered the first set 560, and second set another 560, and now I have to pay for the third set. I have not got any refunds, I understand that because it has to be physically at the store, now they do not have this in the store and I have to pay for ordering online, and they said it will be special delivery. I am not sure the third set will come in good.This has delayed the project a week so far, and God knows how long before getting the third set.I am really disappointed with Homedepot customer service. I will be calling the homedpot customer service, see what happens.

I have no photos cause who doesn't know what a Home Depot looks like lol. I like Home Depot over Lowes for sure. The reason I gave 3 stars is because they never have a person at the register its always self check out and the line gets long.
