Closed drive-thru during a pandemic. I can only imagine how many exposed or Covid positive people are in the store because they have to walk in the store to grab meds. Do better. Update 11/2023: left on hold for almost an hour.Update: 4/20/2024: Pharmacy closes for lunch without notice. The pharmacist preparing meds ignored me as she slammed the door and gate closed. I asked when they’d reopen? She yelled we are closed for lunch. Called later that day. Left on hold again after 3 visits for meds I desperately needed. I’m a fairly healthy person. I feel bad for the folks that depend on CVS for meds to live.

Bad experience. The few times I come to this part of the county, as I was looking for hypertonic saline, I had asked the pharmacy and they told me to buy it online. So I went thru the aisles again to double check, and this lady who was stacking items, was following me through out the store. Total racism and bigotry. I should have confronted her, but am not low class like her and decided to be better . I really hope managers read this low review and fire the racist. I will be coming back to get her reaction on camera. I advise you keep an eye out for this specific idiot.

They called me in for booster shots and the told me I don’t need them….. there’s actually a sign hanging on the pharmacy window to get them and they still said no…. There’s not another person working in the store… all registers are self checkout!…. It’s pitiful!

Wow! You can believe every negative review here. The very rude & unprofessional people working in the pharmacy area is shocking. These people hate their jobs. The loud mouth pharmacist was yelling at a customer when I walked in. I was completely shocked at how unprofessional she is. Disgusting behavior. Then I check in for my appointment & the rudeness of the curly haired woman checking me in, ugghhhh. Where did you get these people????.

Store opened late and people were outside waiting. The manager who opened the door looked so annoyed. I went to the pharmacy. I was rudely told they don't have the drugs in yet and I have to wait. OK, no problem for me but no need for attitude either. I waited about 10 mins as I read the reviews online about this store. Of course she didn't have a name tag on but the girl had brown wavy hair with highlights, nails done and silver ring on left ring finger - terrible demeanor. I hope my kindness will help them to have a better day.

On Thursday, 6/29/23, I was rudely ignored by one of the pharmacist. Around 5:30pm, I came in to pick up a delivery order and the pharmacist took everyone in line before me. There were about 5 people waiting at the Check Out counter and I was waiting at the Drop-Off counter. She walked over to me and said, “I’ll be with you in a second.” 10 mins went by and I was still waiting. She purposely took everyone else before me and didn’t care. Another pharmacist had to come over and help me because she saw I was still waiting. The first pharmacist then walked over to her coworker and whispered something to her and they both looked at me and kept staring (the coworker had blonde hair and had it in a slick back ponytail, Hispanic). The African American pharmacist who ended up coming over was extremely helpful and kind.The pharmacist who ignored my service was a white/Hispanic girl with wavy brunette/blonde hair that came down to her shoulders, red nail polish with a silver ring on her ring finger. She was short (about 5’2-5’3).This is not the first time this exact pharmacist ignored my service. I came in once before to pick up a delivery order and the same incident happened. I ignored it the first time but now I see it’s a constant thing. I do not personally know this pharmacist and the pharmacist does not personally know me. However, I do not take disrespect likely and will be filing a complaint.I come to this particular location often to pick up delivery orders. The next time I come here, I will say something to her.Update: I called at 6:30pm today (6/29/23) and spoke with a manager named Shay. She informed me she would have a talk with said pharmacist. If this behavior continues, further action will be taken. There is surveillance as well as audio.

Currently going to sue the Manager Dean for the worst experience ever. He threatened to hack into my account and delete my CVS account all because i tried to coupon toothpaste I AM ALLOWED COUPONS. I literally had them clipped into my account and this CVS FYI hates couponers. Dont ever go in here trying to coupon anything. Dean literally tried to take my stuff i paid for ontop of that he TOOK things out of my cart because i wanted to coupon freaking toothpaste are you kidding me ? I called corporate on him and he also threatened to call corporate on me but denied to when i said "do it infront of me then" then he kicked me out and took off his name tag so i wouldnt know his name. Rude and unprofessional.

DO NOT COME HERE FOR PRESCRIPTIONS! I’ve been trying to call the pharmacy for THREE DAYS AND STILL NO ANSWER. I’m talking multiple times each day, a total waiting time of about an hour, and still no response. I’m about to switch pharmacies because this is utterly ridiculous.

I just called & spoke to a Pharmacist who’s very unhappy with her job. She keeps sighing & was rude when she asked me her needed information. She doesn’t even deserved a star! Pls find a job that will make you happy. Life is too short!

I would give zero starts if I could. This is the worst CVS I've ever been to. The CVS in West Haven was amazing so I wanted to stay with CVS when I moved here. The location is convenient so that's why I've tried to stick it out, but I've never ever been able to just go through the drive through or in the store without waiting forever!!! I just don't understand, it's simple, say the name and birthdate and get the prescription, but no it's like they go have side convos or something cuz they ALWAYS take forever!! They are also always short staffed so the drive through is closed a majority of the time that I try to go. I've just come to the conclusion now I need to switch to save myself the grief and time wasted here. The people are never in a happy mood, they look miserable all the time. I just do not understand it. Don't waste your time!!

Went in to pick up an Rx for my wife. I was on a moped scooter. Fearing to leave it un attended as the y clearly have NO bike racks to lock down my ped,I was literally yelled at by the manager very unprofessional language and told I could not walk my scooter through the store,I asked him to at least watch out for my ped while I picked up the prescription,he was just yelling and saying for me to go thru drive thru if I didn't like the rules. Shouting I'm calling the cops, having a real Karen moment and acting like a complete jerk. Told him bluntly,I see you out side this store I hope you never need my help!! First time there myself. Last time ever going there again.

This is the worst place ever to get your medication filled or to even speak to the pharmacy they had me on hold for 1 hour before I decided to hang up and this has happened many times. This place is terrible worst customer service ever especially at the pharmacy. They don't care about their customers.

Customer service is not great at all . I’ve always had problems with the pharmacy but today 5/17/23 at 8:45p from the pharmacy to the front end cashier customer service was not great . The front end cashier did not address me and when I said thank you , he did not respond. So that annoyed me a little so I said thank you again . He goes and says “oh I’m sorry I wasn’t listening “ .

If I could give less than one star i would. This pertains to the pharmacy and their major inconsistencies. Different guidelines every time you walk in. My opinion, go to a pharmacy that knows the ct state law and know what they are doing. Medication is important and life saving for some people. I'd like the reassurance of a pharmacy that makes me feel comfortable. Its Definitely not this one. Also. I've been told that you cannot pick up a controlled substance one day early, I find it amazing that other pharmacies do this, yet I was told no can do. Cvs needs a pharmaceutical over haul.

If I could give this store a zero I would. Twice the pharmacy refilled my childs prescription with an adults cardiac medication in error!! Luckily I caught the discrepancy before I dosed my child and returned it to the store. The pharmacy chronically chaotic, staff are rude and the pharmacy staff always appear like they are rushing to get things done. As a nurse I know that you should NOT be rushing when you are preparing medications as that is when most mistakes happen.The store itself is dirty, and there are always lines.Stay far away from this store.

Customer service applies to all customers. I went in for a passport photo. Was advised I would need to wait so cashiers can check out customers in the line. I waited and waited and waited while more customers came in the store/line and were checked out. Still waited for either of the 2 cashiers to treat me like a customer. Finally just walked out. First time at that CVS. First time ever treated like my needs as a customer weren't valued. Really disappointed!

The pharmacy here is horrible. I've been given the wrong medications. They are always understaffed or staff don't know what they're doing. Went for a flu shot with a friend today. Had to wait for them to fight with someone in the drive thru because they made a mistake. Pharmacist didn't have a lab coat or name tag. Friend told her he was afraid of needles. She barely swiped him with an alcohol swab and slammed the needle in him without warning. Then walked away without even taking the Covid paperwork he filled out. She should not be a pharmacist. Do not go here!

Drove all the way out from wallingford because they listed product I was looking for neutrogena make up that was listed as in stock.when I got there the whole neutrogena display was taken down and clerksaid everythinggwas in boxes and he couldn't go look for it.waste of my gas and time.

The manager helped me over the phone she was being rude and very short responsed. When I asked a question she gave me a name and pointed me in the direction of someone else.. I eventually learned the name was fake and my time was being waisted. Go to Walgreens

Roughly 30 mins or so before closing i called to check the status of a prescription.. waited and waited on hold to speak to a pharmacist and it appears someone kept pushing my call back into the hold queue. two minutes before 9pm i got a "click" and the call was ended.

Called this location multiple times 1st time waited on hold for 8 min then all of a sudden phone was disconnected; I’m thinking ok this happens sometimes call 2nd time on hold for 13 minutes this time and what do you know BOOM call disconnected again! Called a 3rd time and on hold again once again And guess what disconnected again! This is ridiculous wasted over a half hour just trying to speak with someone at the pharmacy! Last week my husband picked up his prescription and he had a liquid suspension the directions on it didn’t even include how many ml to give! Just said take 10 oral 2 times a day very unprofessional!

Do not get your flu shots here. The pharmacist used an 18 gauge needle which is way too big. When I said something to him he said it would be okay. I’m a nurse and give these all the time and would never use a needle that big. The CDC recommends using and 22 to 25 gauge. Seems to me like they shouldn’t be giving the shot if they don’t even know what size to use.

There are several instances where I saw a few employees without their mask on which risky to their health and everyone else. Although that happened, I haven't ran into any issues with them. I can't say anything about the pharmacy employees since I haven't met them yet.

CHECKOUT ASSOCIATE WAS NOT WEARING A MASK!!Came in today for a few items but will not be shopping here again. The young girl behind the counter was busy on her cellphone and slowly walked toward the register until she was finished with her personal business. When she got to the counter, she was wearing her mask under her chin, with her nose and mouth exposed during checkout. I would not advise people to shop here if they take their own safety seriously.
