-NOT DOG FRIENDLY-I’ve worked in the pet industry for ten years and have never been to a feed store that didn’t allow customers to bring their dog inside. The owner has a non-dog friendly Rottweiler loose in the store who almost attacked our rescue lab, my wife got pinched in the doorway trying to hold the owners dog back and hurt her hand badly enough to require treatment. Meanwhile she stood at the counter laughing about it and made no effort to intervene. She actually yelled at us for attempting to come inside. I grew up in Durham and will absolutely never shop in this store again after this experience.This is why large breeds get a bad rap - irresponsible owners. And yes, she has the world’s smallest (and most convoluted) sign on the door, it is far from clear that dogs are not welcome inside.

Brenda is extremely knowledgeable of her products and always helpful. My dog is 9 years old and had a double knee replacement when she was a pup, her pain has been so bad the vet recommended we put her on daily pain meds. I talked to Brenda and she recommended trying CBD oil and even aprox how much to try. My dog acts like a puppy again and seems much more comfortable. I would recommend to anyone who needs any pet supplys!
