I love this place in a pinch, but you need coupons or vouchers and a good sale or clearance to try and make paying for worth it.It does have a great selection of many items of different crafts, etc but again the price sometimes is truly outrageous when you live on a limited budget.

The section I was not very well stocked, there were sale prices marked...not honored at check out. But used a 40 percent off. I had called to see if particular item. I was on hold for 30 mins and the someone hung up the phone. I am an immune compromised person and didn't want to go into store....

Not the biggest Michaels I've been in, but the best!! I'm not just saying that because it's less than 5 miles from my house either. It's the staff. Take today for example, I went in looking for something I found online. The computer told me the store had it in stock, but try as I might I couldn't find it! I went up to Mary, who was working on the registers, she keyed the item number into her handheld and told me exactly where it was AND she got me someone to meet me there to help me look. Meg met me at the section I needed to be in and she showed me, on my phone, how to use my digital coupon. These 2 ladies have helped me find what I need to complete my project! And this is just an example of today's customer service. Everyone there, including the people I've spoken to in the Custom Framing Dept, has always been friendly, helpful, and positive!

Store was extremely tidy and orderly. All of the employees were very nice and the shopping experience was overall enjoyable. I was a bit surprised by how expensive canvases are, but they do look to be of good quality.

Bought Goat milk soap for soap making from Michals- the product was inferior- it was seperated- it wouldn't set in the molds and it was literally twice the price as Bulk Apothecary.I bought it in a pinch and was willing to pay the price- but the product was inferior and a complete waste- separated and cracked....and useless.

Lots to look at, tons of stuff for the crafters and hobbiest. And now Christmas stuff, only reason im not giving it 5 stars is there was quit the line with only 1 register open. Plenty of employees walking around. But overall a great place.

Clean, well stocked store. They have some great sales, and coupons can be found online. I go here often. This visit I had a very positive experience with the framing department. They rushed an order for me and it was completed by the end of the day. I didn't give five stars due to the fact that I almost always have to wait in line at the checkout. They could schedule more than one cashier at a time and speed things up considerably.

The store was very clean and well stocked. The manager didn't understand, and refused to follow the instructions, how to set up either senior discount or teacher discount on my account. I showed her where it was clearly written I could do it in the store. She refused and said it had to be done online. I left without my discount and very frustrated! I will not be going back there again!

Not too bad. Had a lot of cool things and had what I went for. Only thing that could have been better were the employees. I am not a mean person and I know this sounds mean, but they were absolutely clueless. I called ahead of time and they had no idea if they had an item, which is understandable, but they put zero effort into helping out. I looked on the website and the website even gave what aisle the product was in. Went there and found it no problem. So go on the Internet or whatever you have to do but do not call because their employees are no help whatsoever

Lately many items are sold out or simply not stocked. Very few staff members per shift resulting in a constant back up of customers. If you do choose curbside pickup allow 45 minutes to be acknowledged and expect to be forgotten about. They were apologetic but should expect customers choosing curbside pickup due to the increase in Covid cases. They should staff appropriately.

Who doesn't like Michael's?Place is awesome and keeps your girl/wife busy when shes bored..If they stay busy at home you got nothing to worry about and while there at it they making some side cash. Good place to get your crafting stuff and way cheaper then hobby lobby

Went X-mas shopping there Christmas Eve and very easily found the gift certificates. I have been getting one for my honey every year since she started building her own greeting cards. Plenty of cashier's. I was in & out quickly on that busy night!

Went to the Vernon store the other day looking for halloween decor. They had 1 side of an aisle set. This store was a halloween wonderland. 3 aisles. And the people are so nice

Michael's is the best craft store I've ever been in. Great selection, product is usually always in stock, their people are willing to help you find things, I love the bead section!! Prices are reasonable and they have weekly sales almost every week!!

I was trying to find a few last ends for Christmas, and asked for help regarding a picture frame I needed for a gift. The older woman who helped me seemed bothered by my question, and then proceeded to (very obviously) follow me around the store - which I assume is due to my race, because she left all the other single customers alone. I had a few more things to buy, but I left early because I was made to feel uncomfortable and unwelcome.The cashier who was a younger girl was very kind, however!

I go here very often now since quarentine. They are still open for inside shopping, LOVE IT, unlike Massachusetts. The employees are VERY RESPECTFUL, they have have knowledge of their own products and are very friendly. I recommend!

I love this place but I don't appreciate being bothered when I walk in the door by picture frame employees. I understand they are just doing there job but I'm a crafter. I like to browse the aisles for ideas. If I wanted to frame something I'd go to there department.

I haven't been in the store since they were closed due to Covid-19 but my previous experience has always been a pleasant one at this Michael's store. The management is very knowledgeable and helpful. If a clerk doesn't know the answers they get help from a manager to try and help. It's a pleasure to shop at the Dayville store.

Michaels is a craft store that has just about anything you'd need for making anything homemade and even items that they have already made for you such as flower arrangements and wall decorations. Want to learn something new? They also have teaching clinics for many crafts and you can their schedule online. This is for children or adults depending on the day or time you choose to attend. If you have questions about how to do something they have knowledgeable employees that can usually help you out with a project. I enjoy shopping there and can spend an hour or more just browsing the isles looking for fun things to do for myself or bring to my grandchildren to teach them how much fun crafting can be!

Last year I bought a Halloween display as a gift but it was missing the adapter, this has happened 2 yrs in a row I just asked if they would give me an adapter for it but they wanted me to buy ($30) I paid nearly $100 for the display. I think they could have given it to me seeing as Already paid for the display, not sure I will continue to purchase the rest of the collection

I do like to go to Michael's and they often have what I am looking for, but I have had 2 awful incidents with the same manage . The first was after my husband had purchased my cricut maker there for m . Upon opening it I found someone else's supplies in the maker which included a sharpened pencil with a banks name in it. It was missing a pen also. We went back to the store and instead of helping me right away the manager was very rude and accused me of not telling him the truth because he said they never returned the circuits. Obviously with a pencil in the maker with a bank name he was wrong.Tonight when we were at the store he stood across the store BSing with a co worker while I waited in line for over 10 minutes while the cashier helped 2 other customers cash out. He Very easily could have come.over to help, but instead just continued to talk with his coworker. He needs some retraining on assisting customer . He looked right at me and watched as I put my stuff on an empty counter and finally walked out without buying anything. Awful customer service. BUT,,, he's the only one I've ever experienced that from.
