Accused of stealing.I left Dollar General in Dayville Connecticut just about an hour and a half ago just needed a few quick purchases as I get to my car outcomes. Running mind you running the dollar general associate, insisting that I stole my items, any loud voice over the parking lot at which point she takes the bag from my hands and I said I did not steal that stuff she said where is the receipt and I said I’m sure it’s inside. She said sure. After I went in and showed her I did pay for my stuff I kindly let her know that is not the way to deal with a problem like that she said whatever I said you should never follow someone out of the safety of your store even if they did steal I said, I can’t believe the way you made me feel how loud you are how rude you are. She told me to have a nice day I said I would never come here again, and she assured me that would probably be a good thing. I just couldn’t believe the rudeness coming from a customer sales associate, I will never visit the Dayville Connecticut Dollar General again. I will go out of my way. To go to the next nearest one that’s how badly I was treated.

Convenient location!! I’ve added DG to my list of favorite places to shop. Great customer service, friendly staff, awesome selection of stuff ( to my surprise, there’s tons of kitsch but very cool stuff too) and not to mention very clean. I’ve never shopped at Dollar General before so it was my first time and definitely a great experience!! Granted it’s retail, I know how retail can be sometimes, yet still all of the staff are very upbeat and friendly. Importantly, you can tell that they genuinely enjoy interacting and serving their customers. Great selection of drinks and snacks!! Will most definitely be returning especially since the wholesale beauty supply store that I frequently shop at is literally across the street. To this woman, to have both beauty products and snacks conveniently located within walking distance = major score. This is a huge win win for me!! :D :DLike THE infamous Arnie, “I’ll be back!!” Lol

Great place to make a quick trip for milk or bread. My husband really likes the store brand soups. He says they are as good as the big brand name.

Not a place to bring your family.The woman are dressed inappropriately and are rude and insulting . Magazines are unavoidable. Customers are arguing in parking lot over the filth. Wife and I Will not shop there again. Change these things and it would be a 5 star store.

I took a list of things I needed to pick up and I thought it would take at least 2/3 stores to pick everything up. To my surprise, I was able to get EVERYTHING on my list at Dollar General. Happy, happy, joy, joy. 😃

What can I say...it's a dollar store. I can say the sales persons were very helpful. The store was reasonably neat for a dollar store and clearly well stocked.
