Had Dan's power equipment service my 1 year old zeroturn mower....absolutely, will be my " go to" shop for anything my mower requires.....not going to find a more honest,reasonable, and INCREDIBLY experienced technician like him....Highly recommend!!I wanted to UPDATE the attention to detail Dan PAINSTAKINGLY performed on my latest mower service...if you saw it prior(grime,mice infestation,etc....)hard to believe it's the same motor!Runs like a champ again....thanks Dan!

Dan’s Power Equipment is an unassuming spot on the Killingly Plainfield line. Make no mistake, though, Dan knows his stuff! In addition to being excellent at repair work, he is friendly and very accommodating. I’ve witnessed him talking folks through their mower troubles and helping them to do their own repairs. You don’t see that very often. It’s a testament to his impeccable character. I’m pleased with his rates and the work he does. Seeing his pup and the herd of deer is a bonus!

I’m new to the area and asked around for a lawnmower repair shop. Dan is my brother’s neighbor and came highly recommended. I now see why! Dan is personable and professional. Stopped by his shop to schedule an appointment for pick up and service for my tractor. Due to the fact that the 4th of July was that week he asked we call him on Thursday. I called on Thursday and got voice mail! Let a detailed message and asked for a call back to schedule. It’s now been over a week and this guy hasn’t the curtesy to call back!!Very poor customer relationship and I definitely think, from what I hear, this guy is a crook!!STAY AWAY!

I have been to Dan for both lawnmower and snowblower repair. Not only is he knowledgeable, experienced, and fair with cost, he actually took the time to show me how to use both pieces of equipment, as I had never operated them myself. I could tell he was a good guy when we started talking dogs :)Honestly, though, I am glad I found this business, and would definitely recommend it to anyone I know.

Called for help on getting my inexpensive walk behind lawn mower fixed and spoke with Dan for first time. He has a sense of humor which I immediately felt comfortable with. Initially, I chose his business based on positive comments I read online. My experience was great! Brought my mower in and had it the following business day. First pull and it runs great. Plus, I learned alot about gasoline which was the reason the mower would not start although it was less than one year old and I had used it only twice. And Dan's charge for the amount of time and work he put into my mower was unbelievably reasonable. I had expected to pay at least twice as much. I will definitely make this my go to business for any repairs needed on tools and such in the future. Feel very fortunate that I found a reputable engine repair shop in my area.
