This is such a great store, especially if you're interested in reptiles! They have a very full reptile room, and are very willing to let you pet and handle them. There is a really neat selection, including boas, tegus, bearded dragons, iguanas, leopard geckos...They have pet supplies and do dog grooming. There are some cute resident bunnies that roam the store, and they also have some rescue animals. I go there to get superworms for my beardie, and my daughter always wants to come along to visit the animals

Amazing hidden gem! (At least to me) About a week ago I stopped in for the first time to see if they could trim my dogs nails. The service was quick and my dogs were really friendly and happy with the person that trimmed their nails. (I think it was the the owner)We will definitely be going back!

Staff were SO friendly, felt like i was visiting friends rather than at a shop. They had animals out and about and encouraged us to pet them and interact. Very helpful with recommendations and had some cool reptiles!

Place sucks!! They have no clue on how to deal with shepherds. The place smells and there is all different animals every place. There is rust and the place is just gross. Should of walked out as soon we got there. Did not cut all his nails, did not blow dry him all the way and the best thing of all is you had to do the bath with them cause they are clueless. If I wanted dog hair all over me I could have done this myself and saved myself the.money. He now has had a very bad time and smells like wet dog. NEVER BRING YOUR LOVED ANIMAL THERE!!!!!!

Pat does an absolutely fantastic job. She has been grooming our dogs for years and recently I brought my older cat to her. Her grooming is absolutely fear free and so gentle. It makes a huge difference in his care. The animals are well kept and very healthy. Pat cares about every single animal she has in the store.Overall, a fantastic place, just wish I lived closer to it so I could go their more.

Pat of Amazing Animals really cares about the animals, and this is something you can't say about a lot of other pet stores. Many are in it for a quick sale and the money, leaving the customer clueless how to care for their new pet. This local business is one of a kind and it is apparent to me after going there over the years that the people who work there want whats best for the animals. Let's face it - many people jump too fast into getting a pet and sometimes it doesn't work out often due to of lack of information and greed of money. Amazing Animals is different - they have reasonable prices and will take the time to answer any questions you have. This shop also actually rescues animals that would otherwise be abandoned and also is supplied by local breeders (including myself). Big box pet stores buy wholesale animals that are not properly cared for and sometimes even taken from the wild. This small shop is the place I most often always go to - especially for the humanely raised rats. There was a time when I purchased a finch that ended up passing away and I was refunded with a new one that I still have today. I highly recommend supporting this business because it is so wonderfully unique. Here is a picture of a parrot I recently got from there - I named him Julian and he has been well taken care of at at this shop for quite some time. He is super cool and now he has found his forever home thanks to Pat and the people at Amazing Animalz.

This place is amazing! Like a zoo and a pet store in one. Everyone there clearly loves animals, and the animals all seem happy and well-cared for. We went in the morning “just to look” and came back a couple hours later for a hamster :) couldn’t be happier with the service from all three employees who helped us during our visits.

The owner of this establishment, Pat, has been the groomer for my many Old English Sheepdogs for at least the last 30 years. We have followed her to several new business locations, and I think we would follow her to the ends of the earth for her grooming skills. Just look at this happy pooch.

I totally recommend Amazing Animalz for all your pet needs, Pat is such a wonderful caring Person, and Business owner. I have an 8 yr old Great Dane that just will not let me trim his nails or clean his ears, but Pat has such a way with animals and he will only let her do it. I won't bring my fur baby anywhere else.

What a wonderful find Amazing Animalz was for my family. We visited today for the time searching for a bird cage. Pat came up with a gently used one, and she even cleaned it for us while we waited. The price was more than fair. We had a chance to view the entire store, which is full of well kept animals of many varieties. I have kept tropical fish for decades and have bred many species, and so I know quite a bit about them. Looking over the tanks, I was very much impressed by the quality of the fish. The bird cages with the budgies were immaculate. The rodent room was well kept, too, and the animals looked in good shape. The Angora rabbits were just incredible. It's worth a visit just to see these beautiful animals hopping around. Finally, the cockatoo mascot was a delightful treat; he was very healthy, active, and happy.Amazing Animalz had many difficult-to-find items at very good prices. Pat's knowledge was evident, and she was welcoming without being pushy at all. The store reminds me of the pet shops that used to exist before the advent of Petco, etc., places where you could acquire good quality pets, all kinds of supplies, and unusual items (such a live foods). It's a shame people would even consider going to Petco over a place like this. I can tell it's going to be a family favorite, whether for shopping or just visiting the beautiful and exotic animals.

This is an amazing store, excellent service, won’t go anywhere else to purchase mice and other food for my ball pythons, and other animals. I have also got all my reptiles here as well and they have been all happy and healthy! Very knowledge group of people that work there and always treated with great.

I have had my Maltese groomed here multiple times I am a last minute grooming customer, pat has always been able to sneak me in and my dog likes her! I will never leave my dog alone or unattended and Pat always allows me to stay close by ! very good at what she does and very reasonable I couldn’t ask for anything more ! I would much rather give my money to a small ka all business than a big chain store!

Update: Very satisfied they replaced both fish, tested our water and gave us some helpful tips about our water treatment.Purchased 2 betta fish with my children, both fish died within 8 hours. First time buyers from this pet store, not impressed. Had many betta fish in the past last years. I'll be reaching out tomorrow, hopefully they have 24 hour guarantee on fish.

This is a great small local business and they got our boy in fast for a last minute groom. Josh did a phenomenal job, he listened to everything in detail and was very attentive to Odie. Very professional and reasonably priced. Will be coming back regularly as Odie enjoyed his time with Josh and chasing Ditto the bunny hahaha :)

Definitely recommend this place to all others in the area and from afar! Great but great prices, knowledgeable, and super friendly! This place has become my to go place for my aquarium needs! Even with the unfortunate circumstances this world is going through at this time they still had a smile on their faces and eager to help me as a customer amd the pets around them as well! had a mom rats in a big cage with no sign and got bit very hard ( barley had my finger up to cage side) due to neglectfulness and not putting a sign up, other than that every thing was pretty good. most of rats tried biting me (not hard but still enough to draw blood) most looked pregnant and one even looked like i had a tumor or abyss on the side of its head. other than that pretty clean and mice,gerbils and hamsters, rabbits and guinea pigs and birds looked happy. 7/10

As a professional film maker I look for honest people and how they handle business, as I called amazing animals to ask if they had green basilisk lizards and explain what I was looking for the lady said they do and I'll send you photos. As I told her to hold them I'm on my way about 1 hour and 12 min drive, as I arrived I walked into a nice clean shop very well Display reptiles and thier habitat with all the right lighting. The lady was so polite and very kind greeting I know it was worth the drive. As she took the time out to help me look at the baskslisk I ended up getting her last two. I highly recommend going to this shop for your reptile needs and being treated like person not customer was a great feeling, as I'm definitely a new customer and looking forward to future shopping.Matthew Ryan- dark echo Producrions

This place is a great pet store and there are many horrible ones out there I have seen personally myself. This one is a diamond in the rough and has been in business for quite some time. Animals are well cared for and owner is very easy to communicate with and straight forward. There aren't many mom and pop pet stores like this around anymore with petco, petsmart, and chain pet stores like All pets club putting them out of business. You will not find such quality care for each individual animal in these stores like you will at Amazing Animalz. Remember - you vote with your dollar. Support local businesses!!

I know I'm biased but from the outside looking in this is the best and most well diversified exotic everything store my brother and Pat do a wonderful job on maintaining and servicing the animalz, community, and (us) the happy customers. Highly recommend traveling far because you won't find a place quite like this in CT/RI/MA!!!

Pat is such a caring person. She has devoted her life to her animals and has such a gentle touch with my very wary dogs in her grooming area. She's the only person that I'll ever bring my animals to for their baths. She's amazing!!

Unusual array of reptiles, birds, fish, and lots of top quality foods and treats. Two guinea pigs were getting a pedicure the last time we were there. :-). The huge iguana and tortoise are just beautiful.
