My husband and I have an Irish Wolfhound and he eats very specific food. Uses very specific tick and flea control products and just requires bigger toys and such. This place is the place to go. I have yet to find a store with our dogs food other than choice pet. Everything is also competitively priced. They are amazing! Friendly staff, clean environment. I walked over to look at the pets they do have for sale and all look clean, and well taken care of! We look forward to purchasing from them for the foreseeable future!

So I purchased a small bird from this store, when I walked in they were in a small enclosure next to the windows without the top being covered so my first thought was that they were well trained and just didn’t fly away. I asked one of the employees that I was interested in purchasing one so they proceeded to take one out and I saw after that they clipped the wings off which I understand can be done, it is done. The only thing is that whoever in the store clipped them did not do it correctly so when the employee was trying to pick it up it started to bleed from its wings, I still purchased it because I wanted to take care of it. The bird is fine but because they didn’t do it correctly the last wings on both sides were still on but they snapped off and I am sure that it’s painful for the bird. I hope after this review they can take their and properly clip the wings.

My family has been shopping here since December 2021, the associates are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The store is always stocked and clean! Very recently, Jared has been helping me. Today he helped me by bringing my 30lb dog food to the car while I help my daughters car seat. He is always so kind and I appreciate that! 😊

This store is convenient to other shops and very clean/nice. However, today the clerk tried to be pushy about switching my dogs foods from the food he's been on for two years , to some brand they had at the store which was apparently "better" for him. The clerk questioned my vet's knowledge of what my dog needs after I told her that his food was vet recommended. Sorry but I will be trusting my vet over some random clerk at a pet food store! Please stop having your clerks "educate" the public on pet food if we don't ask for help/ their opinion.

I've been shopping here for a couple years, Aaron is always the most helpful associate I've encountered. He goes above and beyond to help with all of my animal needs from fish to bunnies. I've just recently gotten a bunny And he outdid himself to ensure I got the right bunny for my family and made sure i_how to take care of it.

Super friendly staff, very professional and caring. My dog likes to look at the rabbits birds and ferrets. We like the convenience over anything else. Some people know the price of everything, but the value of nothing. I love my dog Hank and he likes this place

Great and clean store with knowledgable and always friendly staff. Wouldn't go anywhere else. If you're shopping for your constrictor's (or other larger reptiles) food needs like I always am, this is the spot to go for feeders always kept in clean and humane conditions at prices way below other larger chain pet stores.

If there was an option to give no stars that’s what I would give them. After a few years of attending this place my opinion has changed. I used to love coming here to purchase my fish , however when i became a regular customer i quickly realized the truth. They have 3 day return policy on fish. Sold me a fancy tail goldfish with ick and because I came on the fifth day of purchase had no solution to this. Its sad to see that stores like this just care about the money , not the customers nor the animals. It isn’t the fact that I didn’t get anything in return that bothered me , it is the fact that they did not even attempt to solve the issue.

I’ve given this place so many chances about getting fish. Over the past couple weeks I’ve been getting fish with my mom and after a day or two we noticed the fish that were sold to us have ick, and of course it spreads to the other dish rapidly. After treatments that didn’t work they died - our money went straight down the drain. Some of the tanks are horrific to look at and they look like they haven’t been cleaned in weeks. And if you look closely at the fish in the store they have ick. Watch out for the fish you get because they might have ick! I would definitely not recommend this place for getting fish. Definitely a waste of money.

Needed to return cat toy. Paid for it w/debit card returned it in 2 days luckily I asked about they're return policy. Told 7 days for refund. After that store creditI have NEVER, EVER gone thru such an annoying return in my life!I was told I would have to take store credit because I did not aethe debit card on me that was used to purchase. I informed him the card was lost therefore cancelled. He didn't want to hear it. I wanted to call bank for them to verify. He said no. By "he". I believe it was the manager. After much shouting, being threatened, and belittled I did receive my $20 refund. Yes all of that for $20. I would absolutely NOT recommend this place, not even to my worse enemy

They are friendly helpful knowledgeable and have resonable prices on pets and pet supplies. I get all of my ferrets supplies here! At the one in monroe is where i bought 2 of my 3 ferrets!! I couldnt be happier. I wanted a specific color and they actually had my perfect dark eyed white (DEW) baby the following week!! Very pleased!

Super nice I come in with my pup all the time and they carry Fromm food which is pretty much the best you can get for your dog and for that reason the Fromm company doesn't want their food selling at major chains like petco or pet smart which is why you won't find it there.. they trust choice pet with their product which says something to me.Also, another user complained about high prices then complained more when the company offered to price match and refund.. that sounds like good service not bad!Nice people and I find their stuff generally cheaper than petco so I like to come here.

I love Choice pet. They staff is very helpful and friendly. The store is always clean and organized. My chihuahua Yodie is very picky about his food and I was able to experiment and find the right combo for him. I think the food prices are reasonable but the toys and other accessories can be pricey, but remember this is a smaller company and they do have to compete with major chains.Yodie's favorite meal is Merricks Grandma's Pot pie mixed with Stella & Chewys chicken or beef meal mixers!

Great customer service. They sell healthy dog food including orijen, acana, and fromm which normally can be hard to find. Store has ok prices, a bit pricey on some dog food brands. However they always alot of items and have fish that you dont normally find at big retail stores.

Call ahead. They're very friendly inside but not really able to help, and they likely may not have stock of what you need. This location is fairly disorganized compared to Norwalk or Monroe.

I was charged 56.99 for a bag of cat litter. The same bag is sold for 26.39 at Petco and 32.99 at Petsmart. When called on their obscene price disparity they offered to price match and refund the difference.
