I'm writing about the Agway in Danbury Connecticut on Lake Avenue near Trader Joe's. Great place, and all are super warm & friendly staff. The owners Andy and Dave are the best. They sell propane at a better lower price than any other company. 🌞🌳🐦🌲🕊

One of the better places to purchase animal feed for the farm, gardening needs and wood pellets (animal bedding) and also seasonal wood pellets (for home heating).Pellets for the stove: they typically carry Hamer, Easy Blaze, Barefoot, Big Heat.They do delivery for all of the above mentioned items.

3 stars given because I asked to speak to a manager about the bales of straw. I needed to know if they had been sprayed with a herbicide, since I use them on an organic garden..The girls at the check out said they would call her, she was in the back. I said great thanks!!Waited, waited, they looked embarrassed and called her again. Waited waited, no show. They offered to call her again a third time. I said no thank you.Customer service in management definitely lacking. Everyone else was very nice and helpful.

Love this store!!! The staff up front when you check out is the best bottom line those girls are just so nice and friendly they say hello when you walk in, they are very helpful in helping you get your things to the car. The store is well organized and the guys who load your car up with the bulk products are the best as well. I get my chickens their and when you want a special type of bird you can ask them and they will order them for you witch was nice due to trying to buy online. Overall this store is the best Agway I’ve been to and I will continue to keep using this store.

Went here for the first time to pick up some baby chicks. I was amazed at how big the place was and how well stocked it was. Tons of plants, supplies, equipment, and more. The chicks we got are all extremely healthy and well started, and the staff was extremely helpful, especially a young lady named Sabrina.

They never have my dog food. Iams cans! And If they do they never have enough to get the bulk discount. But they do have a large variety of animal supplies as well as garden. the Annual flowers are the best quality. If they carried my canned dog food all the time with a large quantity I would have given them 5 stars. The staff could be a little more pleasant. The warehouse crew in the other hand are very sweet.

We just adopted a pup and took her to Agway to get some food and toys. She was still scared to leave the car. The staff was so great, they came out to our car to see what we needed, shopped for all the items and brought them to my car for me. Amazing service!!!

Had some mulch delivered from them today. After they left I went out to cover it and noticed that there was a bunch of animal feed spilled into it. I called them, and they came back out to my house immediately with a new load, and picked up the old mulch and took it away.Great service! The mark of a great company is how well they deal with problems, and Danbury Agway exceeded my expectations!

I've always found the people in Agway to be helpful and easygoing. They have a lot of specialty products that no one else has. The store remained open recently even during an electricity outage lasting nearly a week but the employees working in an unlit store and everyone was cheerful and helpful. You can get your propane tank filled there. You can buy your bird feed your pet food your rabbit food baby chicks all kinds of mulch and potting soil and many plants. It is a great destination if you need any kind of agricultural supplies including generators.

Outstanding selection of farm and various pet feeds, grooming items, tools and non-Rx medications or treatments. Horses, goats, chickens, dogs, cats and more. Large seasonal gardening section with wide range of plants and shrubs. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff, coupled with attractive prices. Other competitor stores are closer, but we make the drive here due to the great staff and selection (sorry, Tractor Supply)

My best description: A suburban garden center that also provides for actual agriculture. And pet food and supplies.Wonderfully helpful staff. OK, my wife works there, but she really loves her job and her co-workers.

Reliable selection of farm and garden products. Entry door is a pain, as is parking. Picking up in the warehouse is hot or miss. Sometimes great, friendly helpful service, other times, there is a long wait for someone to notice you're waiting, and/or less than friendly customer care.

The worker bees here are exceptionally kind and helpful. They all seem to know their products or quickly get someone. They take it to my car and load it so it is easy to unload.
