I went to DG in Cromwell on 4/20/24 around 3:30p to buy pks of soda. I had the coupon on my app but for some reason, it wasn't transferring. There were 2 ladies there. The younger African American one did her best to help me while the older either white or Hispanic lady had an attitude. She finally agreed to use a coupon for me. She only used it once and refused to use it further. I wanted to buy a lot of pks for my party but she wouldn't let me. I went to another branch in Middletown and they used their coupon for me, something that the older lady in Cromwell refused to do for me. I bought about 30 pks from this other one in Middletown and they were very professional and friendly. I probably won't shop in Cromwell anymore unless things change. Mind you that someone in Cromwell store previously told me that they always have coupons in case I lose mine.Editing my post. I actually bought about 60 pks, not 30 pks from Middletown DG.

I come here almost every day everyone here is extremely friendly and helpful. I have never had a bad experience with any of the staff. Store is always clean. Super nice and friendly people working at this store. Hope the higher ups read these, don’t take this team for granted.

What a great shopping experience. Is was there stocking the shelves, hey man is this guy know his way around the store. It's so refreshing to walk into a retail store and have someone be able to point out exactly where things are. Everything's a buck or less so who could ask for anything more?

The person at counter was not at all supportive. I wanted to pay money in cash. I was having change but he asked me to pay round figure and he gave me additional change in cash.He was not available at counter and required to wait for longer time till he came to attend.

Pretty good. Great for basics, come here before trips or parties to get extra little things like garbage bags, plates or theme decor. I don't see any of the great "hacks" from social media though.

Cromwell dollar tree store was good as far as checking out, Middletown dollar tree store is awful, line, with over 30 people waiting to check out and 1 cashier to check out all them people, I put everything down walked out and went to Cromwell.

Dollar store is on the smaller size and doesn't have the selection that some of the bigger stores have. The staff is usually friendly and helpful.
