Prices range from reasonable to expensive so a lot will depend on what you're willing to spend. I got one plant for a gift, and the other was for me. If you are a gardener that plants for the pollinators, I would make the trip to see what they have. I certainly will plan for a trip next Spring.

First time. Very nice selection of poinsettias and other Christmas arrangements but found the prices a little steep for my wallet so didn't make a purchase. Also indoors where they keep poinsettias was a sea of red. Very pretty but not much room to walk at all.

We are SO lucky to have Riverside Nursery in the Farmington Valley! They have the best arrangements, hands down, not to mention a fabulous selection within their garden center. Shop local and you won't regret it!

Young girl had the WORST attitude when checking me out today. The fact she had to stop talking to her coworkers and help me actually seemed like it bothered her to her core. This is actually my first google review ever bc it was that bad. Pro tip: don’t work around people if you are miserable. I will gladly go to the countless other flower shops and spend my money!

lovely setting on the river, take some time to walk on their lower lawn/garden area & enjoy the view. great choice of annuals, hanging baskets, pre-planted urns & tubs. good place to get herbs & perennials, too. not inexpensive but good quality. very popular.

Cannot say enough good things! Tom the owner is very friendly, polite, and professional. He took the time to get to know our needs and provided invaluable expertise. If you are like me and do not know where to start, Riverside Nursery should be your first stop.

The woman taking my order on the phone was not friendly, appreciative or helpful. I purposely chose this florist because of it's location and I wanted to support small business in the area where I needed flowers delivered to my niece. I was disappointed in the size of the bouquet considering the price. The flowers that were put in the vase are beautiful, it is just small.

Looks small until you walk around the well groomed grounds. I walked away with a armfull of plants competively price with the box stores so it's good to shop local from a family owned nursery. The staff are very helpful as I took a picture of a ill tree that I bought elsewhere and they came up with a solution... Thanks!!

This place is in a beautiful spot right on the river. The staff were great, but the prices were just too high to enjoy this place. I really had some sticker shock! I was also surprised to see them selling Japanese Barberry, which is invasive and I thought was prohibited everywhere in CT.

This is a quaint little place on Route 179 in Collinsville. You'll find it best during the year when they have their colored bikes by the side of the road.Don't just pass it by though. This is truly worth exploring. They have quaint little shops filled with hidden gems for not only inside but outside decor. Explore the patio area and take in the beautiful view of the Farmington River surrounded by flowers for purchase.It can be a tad pricey at times but quality is great and knowledge of plants superb. The potential of finding that one item you were looking for as a bargain is always possible.

Beautiful plants, over priced as they are. The posted prices on front tables are not real. I was charged 3 extra dollars per pot. Not at all what was posted. Staff just said "don't know who put that sign there" really feel ripped off, will not shop there anymore after 15 years.

Riverside Nursery and Garden Center always has the best selection of beautiful healthy trees , shrubs and plants on hand.The Nursery staff and florists are excellent and always very helpful . Tom Hinman and his employees are a pleasure to do business with.

The younger girl behind the counter completely ignored us when we walked in and didn't offer help until I asked to speak with someone... Then the young girl had to go get someone who knew what they were talking about. The lady she got was incredibly helpful and pleasant.

Beautiful selection of plants. I have special ordered flowers here before and was very, very happy with the quality and condition of the product. The only drawback is that they are very expensive.

If you shop around some of the other nurseries in the surroundings, they will realize that they are charging for the river view in the background over and above the plants and pots. Helpful staff.
