I LOVE Meg and Alli over at Sugar and Spice!! I’ve been bringing my dogs Luna & Molly here for a few years!! And I live a good distance away but it’s definitely worth it!! I have tried a bunch of different groomers all over and never found one like them. Other places just don’t have what this place has. The staff treat my dog like their own. I have tiny dogs who can be feisty or scared so I’m always worried about her safety but S&S has a very safe and comfortable set up for all dogs. The ladies are always are so accommodating to our needs that I am a customer for life. They do an amazing job and pay attention to detail. They really got to know my dogs and how I like them groomed. I’d give 10 ⭐️ if I could!

We take our 3 year old panda pug to Allie at Sugar and Spice for nail trimming every month since we took her home at 8 weeks. She is better than most pugs about the task but we still dont want to do it ourselves! We want our pug to still like us! Quinnie gets so excited when we tell her we are going to see Allie and she just gets the zooms and is over the moon! We love Allie too! It is so worth it to take her each month!

The girls here are so sweet and accommodating. I have a senior standard poodle with sensitive ears who normally gets an ear infection after grooming and he didn't with this place! Very pleased - will definitely be back!

Super friendly groomers. My dogs look amazing after their spa days here, but most importantly they are calm and relaxed. My dogs are geriatric and I wouldn't have them groomed if it stressed them out. The girls here make it a nice experience that my dogs seem to genuinely enjoy.

She stopped what she was doing and clipped our baby Luna's nails. She was very nice and sweet to our little girl and we were in and our in less than 5 minutes! She also seemed like a caring dog lover herself so we will be coming back in the spring for a fresh spring hair cut! Thank you for getting us in so quickly.

Never again! I took my Golden Retriever for a bath and a trim. They muzzled her saying she was nipping at them. (Not a chance) They shaved her belly so close that they made her nipples bleed and I specifically said I did not want her shaved, they claim she had mats on her belly (no). They did not dry her off saying she was afraid of the hair dryer- not sure why they did not just towel dry her. Her fur is now spotty, choppy, long and short, shaved and not. Looks terrible. They were not professional and I will never go back. I would never recommend them to anyone who loves their pet.

I set an appointment over a month ago for my two dogs. During the time I tried to contact them 5 times by phone and 3 times by text message requesting contact to confirm how long the process would take as I had a few other tasks to handle that day. I never got a call or text back. The day before the appointment I called and finally got someone on the line. I was told that there was a weight limit and they did not think they could handle my larger dog. We decided I would drop by so they could see her the day of the appointment. Not even 5 minutes after I arrived the owner became extremely defensive and starting complaining about her personal issues. When I asked her to please step out to see if she could accommodate my dog she called me rude and refused my service. I have never had such a bad experience in my life.

I was super nervous about having my mini goldendoodle, Piper, groomed for the first time. I'm so happy I chose to bring her here. She looked like a doodle, not a poodle! I appreciate the time Alli took with her for her first groom. Piper looks great!

Fit me and my 2 pups into an already packed schedule so they could clip my boys' nails. So friendly and welcoming, even at the last minute. Super cute and tiny spot right in downtown Colchester, CT. I am not surprised to be told full baths are booked 2 weeks in advance! Very grateful for the quick nail clips! Will be booking baths before the summer is over!

This was my first visit an I wanted to find out if Allie could groom our dog because our regular groomer couldn't do it for more than a month. I had a wonderful chat with Allie and Mya and I also had a terrific time playing with Dozer and Boomer. It certainly looks like I'll be switching groomers.

The only thing I seen went wrong was her leach came off due to the fact that I dropped her off with a old rusty leach. My fault. Not there's. She always wet
