I love the Chester Vet! I have brought all 3 of my cats here for the past 6 years and have always been very pleased. We come every year for their routine checkups, i have gotten my male cat neutered, and my 2 female cats spayed here. All microchipped aswell. The care that this facility takes with my animals means the most to me because my pets are my babies, and they treat them as the same. Thank you Chester Vet for all that you do!

Love Chester Vet. They are very accommodating. When I have called due to a sick pet I am told to come right down, and they take care of my dogs right away. They have a very friendly staff and you never wait long for appointments. I always feel like my dogs are in good hands with Chester Vet!

My animals have been using the Chester Vet for over 25 years. I have always appreciated their expertise and prompt services.To start with, an actual friendly person answers the phone and provides you with information, appointment options, etc. There have been three occasions when I went outside the clinic for a second opinion on “big” diagnoses and was always given the identical information. In fact, my dog was recently diagnosed with anal gland cancer and his surgeon was very impressed be the vet at Chester who had found the tiny bump in the first place.I really like the uncomplicated, clean, and friendly convenience that Chester offers and will continue to use them as our animal doctor.

When I tell you that I have never encountered a more HELPFUL, GENTLE, EXTRAORDINARY, LOVING team I mean it. This week I brought my dog to a vet (not this location) and had such a disappointing/difficult experience where she didn’t give me any hope and then I reached out to someone who referred me to this clinic and for the first time in days I finally relaxed some. Dr. Egan and Dr. Fiore performed the surgery my dog needed that other places turned me away for. The surgery technicians were Sally and Heather who did the best they could and then some and the rest of his care today has been done by Christy, Erin and Amanda. So many people put not just their time, but their love and care and hope into helping my best friend and I am so grateful for their efforts at making my boy as comfortable as possible and helping me emotionally through the process as well. **20 stars**

I have been taking my pets to Chester Vet for over 20 years. I live in Middletown CT and would never think to take my dog anywhere else. Dr Flower and her staff are very knowledgeable and compassionate, they are the best! Thank you for all that you do for Scout and all of your patients.

Amazing staff at Chester Vet! Very patient and always answer all of our questions regarding our St. Bernard puppy! Needless to say, our puppy LOVES going to the vet! (Who can say that?!) It's actually hard to get her to leave. The staff remembers Belle each time we go and we are so lucky to have found them! The best in CT!

Having been a steady client of Chester Veterinary Clinic for over 10 years one has observed a steady decline in the care provided there along with an abnormally high veterinarian turnover in recent years. And was horrified with my past visit and feel it's my obligation to communicate this experience.The attending veterinarian failed to carry out the most basic and prescribed exam functions during my feline's annual visit. This included failure to take the cat’s temperature, doing a through examination of his teeth or even checking his ears or fur coat for the presence of mites. The only handling done was an abdominal and kidney check which lasted approximately 1 minute. All other wellness checks previously described were omitted which were always performed in the past by other veterinarians at this business.The only questions concerning my pet’s overall condition, health and habits were what type of food he consumes, with only a single note being taken by the veterinarian during the visit which lasted hardly 5 minutes.I communicated this experience to the Chester Veterinary Clinic owners in a letter, and never received a phone call or written reply which demonstrates their total disregard in addressing any customer dissatisfaction.Chester Veterinary Clinic was once a premiere place with fantastic veterinarians that provided a caring and competent environment, but sadly has digressed into a sub-standard level of care. There are plenty of other vets in the area that will provide competent care.

Chester Vet has a great vibe,clean ,doesn't smell, loves dogs,cats,birds and every doctor is just amazing including Vet Tech's and front desk. They take credit cards or checks and my new older cat was very comfortable there. Highly recommend this Vet

I just got home with Crash, our 6 year old rescue, black lab/hound. We had an incident over the weekend with our new Plott puppy who is one and Crash was injured. Our vet could not see Crash, even though it wasn't an immediate emergency. I called CVH and they said I could bring him down to be seen in case he needed surgery. The technician spent over a half hour with me and Crash to determine the best treatment. The doctor on call was in surgery, looked briefly at Crash and sent us home with antibiotics for the wound. They only charged me for the medication and not an office visit which was extremely generous. All the staff I interacted today at CVH was kind, caring and so understanding of the situation. I could not have asked for better care of Crash. I'm deeply not happy with my current vet practice of 20+ years and most likely will switch to CVH. They are top notch! I highly recommend them for anyone that has pets in the Chester CT area. Thank you!!!
