If I could give the groomer negative 5 stars I would. I brought my beautiful golden doodle in and Jess skinned him claiming he was matted. Now I’m a hairstylist and know hair. Yes he had a few mats on him but they were not even down to the Skin. I bathed and brushed him out before his appointment. This work was pure laziness, instead of taking the time and making him look decent she just shaved him down to the skin, tail included. I could have done (have done in the past) a better job myself. I just assumed bringing him to a professional would get better results. I am very unsatisfied and will NEVER go to them again.

Best groomer in the area! They did a wonderful job with my nervous dog! He came out looking wonderful and wasn’t stressed at all. I highly recommend the zoom groom for nervous dogs!

Everyone was so nice to my sweet to my fur baby. She went in to her her nails trimmed and she was super nervous but they helped her and she got some very tasty treats after! 100/100 recommend. The staff was super sweet to me and my dog making us feel welcomed even though we both where nervous (comet more than me haha)

Caroline was so caring and patient with Leo for his first grooming appointment. He's very shy but he felt comfortable and did great. Excellent pet salon and the bakery has BEAUTIFUL baked goods for the doggos! Highly recommended this salon!!!!!!

I asked Renata for help to remove a tick that was in a tough location on my toy poodle and was introduced to a new groomer named Courtney, she was super caring, sweet and gentle with my nervous boy and grabbed that nasty tick! She was patient and made the experience painless for both of us!! Really appreciate the acceptance of my last minute request!!

I've been taking my 40 lb. labradoodle to Woof Gang for years (first in West Hartford, then Canton). I've been patient with the steady increase in prices and upcharges because I think we all should show grace toward small businesses. Today was too much. For the first time in 11 years of professional grooming, I was charged an extra $15 for dematting (when I had completely combed my dog 20 minutes prior to her visit). An additional $10 was charged for conditioner. Neither charge was disclosed prior to the service, and was in addition to the extra fee they charge for doodles. Prices for products throughout the store are also out of sync with the market. (I patronize another small specialty pet store and their prices are far lower for the same brands of special/boutique treats and food.) When I protested the charges, the response was "it's not fair to take it out on the groomer." I agree! Management take note: these are unethical business practices. NEVER GOING BACK

Yaya did an amazing job on our Tito, he looked like a perfect stuffed stuffed pup!! 😆 his coat was even, nice and soft, his rear stains were gone, and his nails was nice and short/ filed smoothly. His teeth looked great too!!!

The first time I took my dog here the groomer listened to me and she did such a good job. I should had requested her again but I trusted them. When I came back for my dog I was so disappointed. She didn't follow directions at all. She shaved so much hair off my dog and I specifically told her not too. Her face was the only thing I liked and that could have been done better and she cut of my dogs bangs. Now I have to wait months for her hsir to get back to the length I like it. When I bought my dog home the kids cried when they saw her.

I called them seeing some poodle haircuts that I loved and found out Danielle is great with poodle haircuts. Booked Danielle for my mini poodle’s full grooming session and she did an awesome job. All of the staffs are super friendly and accomodating. Great store, super clean! My puppy had a wonderful time there. I drove 25 minutes to get the cut that I wanted instead of going to the West Hartford branch which is right next to me. And I won't mind driving to Canton for this awesome service! West Hartford branch is very good as well. I just liked the haircut more at Canton. And I'm sold! Will recommend my friends and family and am definitely a return customer.

Well I won't be going there again. I had an appointment for a flea bath as my golden doodle picked up fleas on the Cape. I had to go back and wait in the car as they were out of flea shampoo. The owner was bringing more. A nice nice girl came out and went over what she would do with Cody. But then the owner came out and checked out Cody. She saw one live flea. She said she was sorry but she couldn't take him. Didn't want to take a chance that other dogs would catch the fleas. I said can't you just take him right into the tub? She said no she didn't want to chance it. She wanted to give me the shampoo so I could do it myself. I said forget it I'll just take him to Petco. I have an appointment there tomorrow morning. Don't offer a service and then refuse to do it. I have never heard of any groomer doing that!! UPDATE! THE OWNER REPLIED TO MY REVIEW. SHE SAID THEY OFFER FLEA AND TICK SHAMPOO AS AN ADD ON. IT'S TO PREVENT FLEAS AND TICKS. I DIDN'T REALIZE THERE WAS A SHAMPOO THAT DID THIS. BUT ALL IS WELL. I TOOK MY GOLDEN DOODLE TO PETCO AND THEY GAVE HIM A FLEA BATH. SO HE IS NOW FLEA FREE AND NICE AND CLEAN.

I was in Woof Gang Bakery and Grooming Canton on Friday April 7th in the early afternoon, picking out Easter cookies with my family. The front staff was very accommodating and the store looked beautiful and new. They have a glass doorway to the back where you can see the groomers working on haircuts for the puppies that go in. I happened to be looking into the far back room as movement caught my eye. I witnessed a groomer yelling, and then I saw her swiftly and aggressively yank a poor golden retriever dog out of the tub. The dog didn’t seem to be doing anything that would warrant any kind of reaction close to that. After seeing that, I would not trust the groomers at this store to work on my dogs.

Renata and her groomers have been nothing but wonderful with both of our dogs! We have a Golden Retriever and a Shih Tzu that we won't take anywhere else after seeing the attention and care the team provides to both of them. The Shia Tzu can be hard to handle at times, but they are patient and understand his anxiety. Over time he's come around due to their ability to remain calm with him.Honestly, I'm grateful Woof Gang WON'T take dogs infested with fleas. It saves me the worry about my dogs ending up with them. If Petco is taking dogs that are covered in fleas it's good to understand that as a pet owner. I know it may be difficult but from our experience it's best to treat at home to save others the headache.

Jojo (little Yorkiepoo) and I went for our first visit to Woof Gang today. To say he was overdue for grooming would be an understatement.Courtney was beyond gentle, kind and understanding (with both of us lol). She was a perfectionist throughout the whole process. He looks, feels and smells delicious!The entire staff was welcoming and kind. I’ve fostered, rehabbed, rescued and adopted all my life so I know when people have genuine care and concern for the animals in their care and this group of people have that in abundance.

I took my dog for the first time EVER to the groomers and tried this place because they had a 4.6 and good reviews. The slim brunette had a nasty attitude and the people who work there seem like they don’t really care about their job. I went in for a nail trim and ear cleaning only. The groomer did not even clean his ear right and it’s like all she did was pour the whole damn ear solution bottle into my dogs ear. He’s in so much pain. He’s the type of the dog that hates having anything done to him so it’s takes two people to work on him exactly what I requested over the phone and it was just her working. I let that slide because hey they have tools and I’m pretty sure they deal with difficult dogs on the daily. So once I got home and I noticed how weird he was being I checked his ears and tried my best to clean it and so much ear solution was still in there and his ear is swollen. I’ll be taking him to the vet thanks to her. Do not go to this place if you want proper grooming no matter how small the task is!!! These people do not care for our pets safety!

I brought me 5 month old golden doodle to have his nails trimmed. The girl that did them was very nice. They had time to do a mini groom, so because it was successful nail trimming, I went ahead with the mini groom. I though the girl that trimmed his nails was going to groom him, but it was another groomer. I asked her not to cut his hair around his head, that I wanted it to be left long and not rounded. When I picked him up his hair had been cut like a poodle, which I asked them not to do. He seemed to do well and his hair would grow, so I made another appointment and figured I would talk to the groomer. I requested the same groom, because she was very nice and good with my young puppy. When I brought my dog in for the second time, I was given a different groomer. I told her I did not want his hair cut on his head. The only thing I wanted was the hair around his eyes cleaned up.When I returned to pick my dog up, I saw another groomer, grooming a larger dog. The dog looked like a Labradoodle (chocolate in color). The groomer was yelling NO repeatedly at this dog. When they opened the door to bring my dog out, I saw how roughly she was brushing and handling this other dog. I said to the girl at the desk that I never would let that groomer touch my dog. I told her to put it in my file. She simply replied that the Labradoodle was a difficult dog and that she would put in my file that I didn't want that groomer. I was so upset to see an animal treated this way. Maybe it wasn't the dog, and maybe the groomer just didn't know how to handle this dog, and should not be.When I got home and looked at my dog, I saw that his eyelashes were cut off. His long beautiful lashes. They will grow, but why?Definitely will not be bringing my dog back to this place. It is completely unacceptable to treat an animal in the manner which I saw. Even if he is "Difficult", I am sure this animals owner would not be ok with this type of treatment. The hair and eyelashes will grow back, the the emotional damage that could occur is not something I would ever risk.

My dog Chloe who is a standard poodle was always stressed when she would go to get groomed. Once I found woof gang we met Danielle who treats Chloe like family. Chloe doesn't get stressed when she gets groomed by Danielle. Danielle is gentle and kind with Chloe. I would recommend Danielle and woof gang for all your dog's grooming needs.

I followed my groomer, Caroline, from another location to Woof Gang in Canton. I have an elderly dog with severe health issues, including fear based seizures and alopecia. Caroline is so careful and calm and truly loves my dogs like her own. I can't rant about her enough! When she moved to Woof Gang, I connected with the owner and explained everything and they were amazing at be willing to continue the same care my girl had prior. They are accommodating and wonderful to work with. Super cute store front and very clean! Highly recommend!

OMG this is the cutest store. I needed a pupcake and found this adorable store while walking around the shoppes. Store is very well set up, clean and well organized. It maybe small (they also do grooming), but they have a wide variety of items for you fur family. They owner was polite. They are more expensive then going to a big box store, but the prices are worth it considering the quality of items.

Shout out to Caroline for doing an awesome job on my girl, Lumi! She came in for the bath and de-shed, as she was shedding like crazy (typical Husky). Caroline was able to brush out all of the loose coat, and she's now looking and feeling fabulous. We will definitely be back!
