The staff is really helpful with any kind of advice you may need or detailed information about a product that can help you make a decision.Very large inventory of outdoor seasonal needs from snowblowers, shovels and rakes to barbecue grills, patio seating, fire logs and fire pits. Lawn maintenance products from weed wackers and leaf blowers to grass fertilizers and garden hoses. Wall paint and wood stains; doormats; Cleaning items like mops, brooms, dusters and buckets; power tools; plumbing including toilet seats and sump pumps; tool storage kits; sealants; extension cords; batteries; lanterns; HDMI cables, splitters and remotes; noise reduction earmuffs; dry vacs; measuring tapes; every imaginable tool from screwdrivers to socket adapters to pliers and wrenches; a vast selection of lightbulbs.You name it and they almost definitely have it! There's even a revolving rack of greeting cards. Open seven days a week 8AM to 7PM.

need a car remote programed ? DON'T go to the dealer ! Chris is the master. They have state of the art equipment and are significantly less $ than, and MUCH more friendly than any dealer. Ace IS the place!!!

I've been here dozens of times and the staff have always been very helpful, knowledgeable and nice. The store has just about everything you need for quick jobs around the house. Plus, it's clean and well organized. Just a disclosure that I've never ordered online for pickup so I can't comment on anything related to online inventory display and orders, but my in-store experiences have always been great.

Purchased 5 seed packets on March 18 and only one was packed in the bag by the cashier. Realized this when I got home and contacted the manager. Was told since they couldn't find the merchandise they could not help us. We are Canton residents since 1985 and have been frequent customers. They have now lost us as customers over a purchase of $2.75. Worst customer service I have ever experienced.

Came into the store 6-5-2023 with a hose and fitting looking to see what what they had to offer for tubing materials and adapters that fit my specific application. A gentleman asked if I needed any help and promptly show me their tubing selection. I then overheard the acting manager berating an employee (clear medical circumstances) for having to leave early. Upon aquiring the fittings and tubing I needed for my project I asked the manager where I could find hose clamps. He very rudely told me I better have got the information for that tube, I told him yes it's 3/8" Polyethylene and I have 5ft. He proceeded to say "yeah I bet after helping yourself" then belittled the forementioned employee to show me to the hose clamps and check my tubing. Walking away he said something along the lines of you can not trust these people. The forementioned employee helped me out without issue and gave me a post-it note with part number and $/ft. I found the interaction completely inappropriate, uncomfortable and degrading to all involved. Tubing was $.79/ft.

Outstanding customer service!Went above and beyond delivering my new Traeger Timberline XL, even though I said we would pick it up. When I arrived to pick it up, it wouldn’t fit in my vehicle. They reorganized schedules and delivered our Traeger the next day. They were super friendly and helpful.Larsen Ace always has good inventory of the latest models of equipment.Great value and quality products!

This afternoon I was looking for mulch. I shopped on their website which indicated they were open until 7:00 pm. I ordered 10 bags of the Scotts brown mulch on sale, for same day curbside pickup. My order was placed before 3:20 and received an email indicating my order was being processed and I would receive updates. After an hour I hadn't received any update and decided to drive over. The store was closed. To say I was annoyed would be an understatement. I checked the website it still showed the store open until 7:00 pm. At 6:20 pm still no update on my order or anything vai email. I cancelled my order.Overall the store is ok, the people are nice and generally helpful. The website is another thing.

Always friendly and courteous, they are definitely the place to go. Today I needed advice, which was given over the phone, and when I went in to get the parts I needed, I was quickly shown where they were and how to install them. (Everything went exactly as planned with the install, which is rare when I have to do things!) "I love it when a plan comes together!" (<---A-Team quote) Quality value and care. They Were "Too Busy" To Help - A Lesson in Bad Customer ServiceSaturday afternoon, May 5, 2018I went to the Larsen Ace Hardware store to pick up a few items. When I found the things I needed, I discovered that I needed assistance from a store employee.I located an employee and asked for help. He wasn't trained or allowed to do the service I needed, so he went to see someone who was. It is worth noting that he was a polite and delightful young man. He should be commended for handling a sticky situation professionally. He returned to tell me that his superior informed him that they were "too busy" to help me. If I wanted help, I could come back on Monday and Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. I work during these hours, so this is not an option.Please keep in mind that I would have been happy to wait.In a day and age when supporting local businesses is paramount, why would Larsen Ace Hardware let good money walk out the door? More importantly, why would a company make a customer have a less than stellar experience when competition between stores is so high?My husband and I moved to the area last year, and we have solely relied on this store for our hardware and garden needs. It is pretty safe to say that we will not be returning and we will be taking our business elsewhere.This is precisely what I did. I took my business elsewhere and visited Home Depot in West Hartford. They were not "too busy" to help me despite the store filled with many customers. I was able to get what I needed and had excellent customer service.The owner of Larsen Ace Hardware would be wise to train their staff in better customer service so that they do not lose customers to one of the many other hardware stores in the area.

I called Ace in an emergency situation looking for some assistance. The gentleman that answered the phone was so nice and tried to be incredibly helpful. The unfortunate part about this experience is that he wasn’t able to help me due to his manager, Andy. I have not had such a horrible customer experience in a very long time. Not only did Andy make it perfectly clear he did not want to help me when I called, he did everything in his power to get me off the phone as quick as possible by saying he was “too busy to help me over the phone.” I can’t even remember the last time I have encountered a manager less customer focused. His lack of empathy along with his horrible customer service is such a disappointment, especially for a manager and in this current environment we are all living in.

Nice, local Ace Hardware will meet your needs. They have an experienced and knowledgeable floor staff, plus eager cashiers to make the trip easy. A sidelot has all the heavy stuff, so you can drive right up and someone will load for you.

Nothing but great experiences going there with my wife multiple times and the first time she goes alone she buys two small containers of drywall spackle for the house we are renovating and two male employees shout from the back of the store, “are the walls falling down?” Implying she doesn’t know what she’s doing buying that much. It’s a shame that these employees felt the need to go out of their way to make her feel bad when she is bringing business to their store. We are brand new to town and have plenty of work to do but Larsen Ace will not be receiving any of our business again in the future. Would rate zero stars if I could.

The Larsen's staff spent so much time with me tonight helping me problem solve my cabinet painting project. They explained the various products available and best options to fit my needs. I've never had this service before shopping at Lowe's or Home Depot. What a difference it was to work with a professional and knowledgeable staff! I will definitely be back to Larsen's for more projects!

Incredible customer service!I couldn't find a tiny part for my chain saw. They couldn't find the part either in their Stihl parts catalog. So they took the part off their floor model with zero hesitation. Amazing customer experience!!Customer for life!!

Great local hardware store. I go here for almost everything -- they carry tons of Stihl equipment and accessories which saves me a lot of time searching/driving/waiting for a delivery. Each time I go there, they always have what I need.

If you have ever been to a Home Depot or Lowe's, think again. These guys are knowledgeable and helpful as hell. If they don't have something they will order it for you. Get in and out quickly​, or stay and chat with a local employee.

After years of going to various hardware stores and walking empty handed, i always ending up going to Larsons, i have finally just made Larsons my go to. Even though it is not my closest hardware store. They carry Benjamin Moore and have the good stuff. A+. Best hardware store around.

Pricey. Advertised sale items usually not in the store. Only go here in a pinch if every other store is closed... like if I need a certain screw on a Sunday afternoon. They do have a good selection of screws.

Okay place to go for some hardware items. You might be better off going to Ace Hardware to pay less. This place was tiny and then they expanded. I think this was a mistake. If it stays open another year because of competition, they will be lucky.

Prepping for potential power outage, I broke the glass chimney on my hurricane lamp. As always. Larsen's didn't disappoint and had a replacement glass chimney. How many even know what I'm talking about?😀 I always check with Larsen's before going to the big box stores.

It’s curious to me nearly three months into the COVID pandemic that they are only open 9-3 Mon-Sat, and totally closed on Sunday. I want to support local business and sadly have spent around $1500 the past month at Home Depot due to Larsens not being open when making home improvement runs.
