I love this store!!! The owner is very friendly and so knowledgeable on many species! I mentioned an interest in some inverts and the next time we visited, he had a bunch in stock! Plus it's so cool to just look around and see the beautiful reptiles, amphibians, and more!! Highly recommend!!

I travel an hour to come here at least once a month. They are extremely nice and friendly to me and my three year old. I’ve gotten plenty of rodents and multiple snakes here who are thriving. You won’t find animals like these around often.

Love this place! The staff is super nice and they have a great selection of critters. My tokay gecko is so cute and healthy! I’ve been trying to find a captive bred one for a while so i was thrilled when I found one here

Love Harris! Mainly go here for life feeder mice/rats for our sneks but always browse the many varieties of for sale reptiles. They have some huge tortoises too which are not for sale but cool to watch. The service is always top notch and one of the associates actually really helped us out when our new bumble bee ball python wouldn’t eat. She recommended live and much larger than what we were trying and he ate immediately! Will remain a loyal customer.

I walked in one day to purchase silk worms for my toad . They’re the only place around that sells them . While I was purchasing the silkworms I noticed a small tank with blue death feinging beetles . The staff gave me all the info on them because I was interested . I went back the next day to get 4 of them . I love them so much . They’re the most entertaining captive animal I have .

Snakes are COVERED in mites please please please look closely at them before considering purchasing. I think it’s extremely irresponsible selling animals that are infested, especially when a good majority of the people coming in are newbie reptile owners. A lot of the enclosures were very dirty, some of them also too small for the size of the animals. I get there’s a lot of animals to take care of, but I’ve never seen so many mites in my life. There was also a carpet python that I thought was dead, he was in really rough shape and mites were crawling all over his body and his eyes :( but he was alive, I felt awful for the snake. This place used to be my go to when they were at their old location, but it’s just depressing going in there now.

Store hours are not currently correct went yesterday at 10:45am was closed apparently opens on Wednesday at 10am. Store website never gets updated lost me as a potential customer due to this I'm not playing hide and go seek to figure out if they are open or have anything in stock. I'm not going to look on Facebook to see an "emergency closing" which was an appointment 🤔 seems like you need to hire people. Don't worry my friends will stop going there too will also tell everyone I know not to.

Absolutely the cheapest place I've found to buy frozen mice and rats. Amazing selection of beautiful and well cared for reptiles. Staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Very satisfying shopping experience.

Awesome place! I got my pacman frog and translucent veiled chameleon from here ❤️ The owner is cool and is very negotiable when it comes to prices! They have all sorts of animals here not just reptiles/amphibians :) definitely recommend if you love animals!

Outstanding! This pet store was totally worth the 2.5 hour round-trip drive. I received excellent help, and everyone was so well informed. I purchased my little african fat tailed boy, and he has been such a healthy eater and sweet, shy guy. I got so much personalized information about him prior to purchase - like that he was a captive bred and preferred crickets over the other feeders. I'm certain that any of my future reptile purchases will be done exclusively here, rather than a bigger chain like PetSmart or something in which very little information and guidance is provided. Additionally, I've found their pricing to either be on par with these bigger companies or even cheaper when it comes to husbandry items. It's clear that Harris in Wonderland is run by passionate, knowledgeable people. Thanks for all your help and my new buddy!

Pretty good spot for more exotic pet supplies. The only reason I'm taking a star off is because the smell is really, really strong in this place. Lots of neat snakes, frogs, turtles, and even quail!

Wide selection of reptiles. Breeding pairs and reptile supplies. Staff are friendly and reptile owners themselves. Leopard geckos of tremper morphs and other beautiful colors and enclosures to properly house them. Will be visiting them again!

Honestly, the best recommendation I have for the store is just that the owners are very knowledgeable and helpful about the animals they sell, and you can really tell they care about the animals they're working with. It's the kind of place where even if it's a hike to get there for you, I'd say it's worth it to go if you're interested in any kind of pet reptiles, even if you could probably also get the animal at petco or wherever. It's just worth it to get your animals from a better source because they'll be healthier and more likely to thrive for you.Edit: to put emphasis on how much I recommend these guys I just want to say that it's been almost a year since I got my blue tongue skink from them and he has been thriving, and they've been nothing but helpful with any questions I've had caring for him.

I go here regularly to buy pet food and adam is very nice down to earth guy. I bought my first boa constrictor here 2 years ago and my snake is extremely healthy and doing very well. If i have questions he will help me any way he can. They have a great selection of reptiles, probably the best in the area. Dont go to petco, go here and know what you are getting. Has everything you need for you pets and it's nice to support a local buisness that does good work. Picture is a huge snake they have in the store. Good place for kids, most animals are on an level where your kids can see them. I'll continue going here.

Harris in Wonderland is the only pet store I go to. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They even offer to order anything I may need for my little zoo if it is not in stock. I travel there weekly just to get my feeders even though there are plenty of places closer.

The smell in there hits you like a wall when you walk through that door. Nauseating. I've worked at pet stores, been to lots of them- I know some odor is unavoidable. But this was on a whole new level. Bugs all over most of the reptiles, flies and mites. My sis took a pic of the iguana, and I noticed black mites wedged under the scutes of several snakes. There was a tegu that looked like a pile of dry skin. Supposed to be very plump especially at its size. Another large snake had a huge scab on it, probably a rat bite or something. All these things just reflect the lack of time and hard work it really takes to care for all these animals sufficiently. Being a huge reptile store I hope there is a quick turnaround for the animals so they don't have to stay here too long. I can't imagine buying anything from here but they clearly get good business. Just a shame that a big place like this, so full of potential with honestly a good variety of herps, is so disappointing in terms of animal care.

Are there places closer to where I live to get reptile supplies/food. Yes. Is it worth the 45 min drive for us to go to Harris in Wonderland? Absolutely yes.Adam and his staff are reptile people, and not only do they have higher quality product, they have the knowledge to help you trouble shoot with any issues you might run into with your habitat, feeding, etc. They do also have a good selection of animals, if you are looking a new scaly friend, this would be the place to go.Oh and it's always fun to see the store tortoises!!!

I've been going here regularly for about a year now and I really could not give Harris in Wonderland enough praise. They have such a wonderful array of critters (reptiles, rodents, insects, fish, all you could want!) and very kind, knowledgeable employees. If you're new to pet keeping or have been doing it your whole life, there's something for everyone :)

Great place! Ashley and Adam go above and beyond to keep me supplied with a difficult to find feeder so I don’t have to expensively ship it from somewhere. They are so kind, knowledgeable, and very helpful. I’m grateful for a place that cares so much and is so willing to help make my life easier and keep my picky eater fed. Thank you guys!!
