Who doesn't love to save money?I'm a huge fan of this Aldi, it's usually not too busy. I hardly ever have to wait at the self checkout line. The customer service was good; I doubled scanned some grapes and the cashier assisted promptly.The items are well stocked. I always see the employees stocking the shelves. Only one time I went in after dinner and the prepared foods were empty (pizza, lasagna, etc.) Overall, the store is clean and well organized; it's easy to find the items I needed.Don't forget a quarter for the cart and your reusable bags. There is an area where you can bag your food. Also, the parking lot has plenty of spots.

Typically a pretty good selection of items at really good prices. I definitely have to stop by other grocery stores to complete my entire grocery list as Aldi doesn't have some specialty items are low stock/picked over when I shop. It gets PACKED here on the weekends and can be hard to maneuver around the store sometimes.

Great prices and a decent selection. Somewhat of an adjustment coming from other grocery stores with needing to have a quarter to get a cart and no bagging. They’ve started adding more organic options which is a big plus for me. The one thing I would have is sometimes it’s quite picked over when I come in.

It's a big store ,tons of things to choose from. The customers are ehh.i went in in work clothes so needless to say it was a little awkward when everyone and their grandmother side eyed me .. but still a great store.

Aldi is first choice locally for value for money. Lots of organic options. Check for fine print "contains bioengineered food ingredient" this means GMO. Affordable veg options you won't find anywhere else. Many prices are climbing, and specialty items are much more costly. Hope Aldi works to keep prices low, not loving the creep towards higher costs.

Clean, products are great, fast in and out.We shop at ALDI more and more now. With the cost if everything going up over the past several years, it's nice to have this store to help save money on thing we need every week (at least)I hope they don't decide to make the stores larger, they ste just right the way they are. No walking 3 city blocks to get from one end of the store to the other.

Pros:--lots of inexpensive items--amiable and friendly manager and check-out personCons:--very small space with only huge shopping carts--difficult to view merchandise due to it being partially hidden in large boxes--no diet juice drinks--very limited selection--mostly non-brand-name merchandise--no individual produce (save for one box of loose apples); everything sold in bulk--somewhat rude, large young woman stocking produce shelves--locked shopping carts that require a quarter to use--no self-check-out lanes--no lottery machines--cramped parking lot--shelves not used efficiently: one aisle's shelves were completely devoid of products (and as mentioned above, the store has a limited selection as it is)Summary: will be returning to Big 'Y' to do my shopping and paying a little more

Mostly very good. Small store so variety not a lot. Mostly their products. Their snacks are nothing like national brands. But baking goods are excellent. Dairy very good. Frozen food very good and cheap! Canned goods excellent and cheap. Noticed fresh produce ages fast, probably comes from far away, so doubt freshness. Meats are inexpensive and so far ok. Bring a quarter to use a cart and all your own bags. Expect very fast movement at checkout, it's a bit overwhelming. They need more staff at checkout. They'll get there and learn the pattern of shoppers in this area.

I went yesterday, Sunday, October 12 to check out the new store. From turning off Route 44 Into the parking lot (easy, but could use a left turn arrow) to the good sized parking lot, the visit was promising. I think ‘renting’ the huge cart for a quarter -which is returned - is brilliant. The store was fully stocked, I said hello back to several friendly employees. The produce was beautiful, great variety. The aisles were wide & flowed well. But... the prices! I was giddy with excitement! I can afford groceries! I got sooo many items & paid $25. Bye bye other grocery places! I have a new store! 😃

ALDI in Canton has great deals, the produce is alright. The dairy is good and cheap. I love good cheese and their's are as good or better than similar in other stores, but they cost less money. The meat isn't any cheaper than Shoprite down the road usually, but when they are on sale their sale prices are better. Chips and snacks are just as good. Most of their stuff is pretty good, I haven't had anything that is bad. I've found that if I go there first, I buy a lot less at other stores and save quite a bit.

I LOVE Aldi!!! And I am SO happy they came to the area, finally!!! The prices are unbelievably great and the food is fresh and well stocked. This store location especially has a great variety and has a lot in stock of the items I buy most.My experience shopping has always been great and the staff are friendly and helpful. I'm also SO glad that the carts are the 2 seater ones so both of my kiddos can sit. I am SO happy my favorite store is finally here. You guys did a great job!

Beautiful store, extremely well stocked, professional, hard working, and friendly staff. The staff will stop what they’re doing to assist customers. During this pandemic, the store has consistently followed all the protocols, marked the aisles for distancing, is extremely clean, and provides sanitizer wipes for our carts at the entrance. Everyone is thrilled that we have Aldi in the area, as it’s much more affordable for vegan, gluten-free, and organic items. The quality of the foods you is very good.

I first found Aldi's in New Britain. It was a difficult place to park but lots of friendly people to help when my heavy cart rolled away from me filled with yummy appropriately priced items. When Canton arrived it was on a flat parking lot so my cart wasn't going to roll away. You put a quarter to get a grocery cart put it in, pull the cart out. You use it you return the cart you get your quarterback otherwise you donate your quarter to some happy stranger to use to return otherwise. their prices are appropriately priced, they don't bag your food. You have to bring bags (ahead of and their time). They provide a shelf for you to appropriately pack your own bags yourself. (Brilliant) or out at the car. I admit I don't like their cheese snacks. Their only or two choices of black olives or greek olives or I love pickled olives but honestly most does the wrapping paper on the outside matter? If it does got shopping at whole foods S&S or big Y. Fresh produce, green bananas, etc. And all they pay their employees well! Sounds like a good forward-thinking company.

Great grocery shopping place. Easy access from route 44 located at Canton across the road from Farmington Valley Mall. Fresh fruits and vegetables with discounted and reasonable prices. Spacious parking space. Nice cashers care well sanitized conditions.

The selection of items is not as comprehensive as at other grocery stores, but there are bargains to be had. While there is produce, most of it is packaged only for bulk sale. I needed one or two onions, but ended up having to buy a two pound bag of them.

It's Aldi. Great prices, but stuff just thrown into your cart...and moved through like cattle. Had a very sweet cashier, here. Definitely not the norm for Aldi. But the food quality and prices are always great.

They cant load your cart back up without literally chucking stuff in, lay it out nice on the belt, gummed it, bag of chips on under juice and sodas. Torrington can at least manage to not mess that part up.
