I began stopping by here during my trips out of the city during the pandemic, as a way to get some fresh air and enjoy the outdoors a bit - but the eggs became a necessary purchase to bring and share with my neighbors and co-workers when everyone could use a little cheering up. Everyone raves about the eggs - and I can't take a trip without getting a few dozen to share - from about the happiest chickens I have ever encountered! Nothing from the grocery store can compare. And a trip out there for ice cream comes with a beautiful trip through scenic roads and ends with a destination where you can sit and look out over the nearby fields and see some very content goats. Staff and owners are always so helpful and welcoming, even on busy days. We haven't sampled widely from within the store, but have gotten the local honey (also excellent) and would believe that anything is worth a try here.

Friendly staff. This is a great place to shop for food and gifts. There is some for everyone.The farm is beautiful and very clean. All of the animals are well cared for. Come by yourself or bring the kids….you won’t regret it.

Wendy's Goat Milk Lotion and soap are the only products I will use on my skin! If you are in a time pinch the products are sold at Big Y. If you have the time I highly recommend visiting the farm. The store has an amazing selection and an at home cozy feeling when you walk through the door. The animals are absolutely adorable!! My daughter loves picking out a handmade stuffie whenever we visit! Wendy is the icing on the cake, her smile is contagious and she is always so welcoming!! Her husband is a true kid at heart and loves pulling the children on the tractor ride! Our kids farm is a place our family loves to visit! ❤️

I love shopping here. I get my pickled eggs, lavender soap, and tasty treats every time I visit. Don't forget to check upstairs for wonderful crafts. It's like stepping back in time. They even carry the milk from the dairy my Dad delivered for many years ago. Definitely worth a stop.

The goat soap wrapped in wool and the whipped body butter are great! I have noticed a big difference in my skin since using these products. And there are a variety of scents to choose from. The laundry soap and wool dryer balls are great as well. I love that these, as well as other products are all natural and available at a local business. So many items to explore at the farm store and you get the chance to look around and see the animals.

Great local farm and general store just down the road from us. They make excellent soap. The blueberry soap is my favorite, it smells so natural my dog jumped on the counter and tried to lick it! The store is extremely organized and stocked with all kinds of products. Truly something for everyone. Owner was very kind. I like that they support many other farms and small businesses by offering their products at this location.

Fantastic farm store! The best eggs and meat you’ll find! Farm cheese, milk and skyr. Lots of tea and whole bean coffee, pantry staples and snacks. Soap that’s great for even the most sensitive skin. Cute homemade items upstairs. The animals are happy and well cared for. The owner is wonderful.

5 stars doesn’t cover the experience visiting Our Kids Farm in Canterbury CT. We spent time wandering through the vast country store and were amazed at the variety of items, food, pantry and gifts to select from.Then it was off to a scheduled cuddle time with baby goats with our grandaughter (offered various dates at the farm with a scheduled time slot) it was incredible … and so special! Walking around and seeing the goats, horses, hens, cows … was a delight! And everything is beautifully maintained!They have special events throughout the year .. serve ice cream in the summer .. the perfect place to celebrate life’s simple pleasures!

Best country farm store in Eastern Connecticut in my opinion. So many great options. I have a difficult time deciding what to but everything I go to this farm. My daughter loves the cart, car rides pulled by the tractor during events they hold. Most of all, I love how careful they are with cleanliness before and after interacting with the animals. I also like they help to support local vendors and small businesses. That gets a 2 thumbs up in my book as well! 😀 👍👍

I was there on March 10, 2024 with my family. Everything in the store is absolutely just perfect the set up the atmosphere especially the woman that was there on that day. She was so friendly welcoming all the products are amazing I got here every year and I recommend others to find what you need here, you’ll find things that you love from food to keepsakes is a great place to take the kids to. I bring my grandkids here every year too.

I love this place! Perfect example of a small business who takes care of the surrounding people. The owner who I see every time that I visit is super friendly and kind! I love the feta dip especially and their meats are great quality! Make sure you go upstairs when you visit, it is full of amazing gift and home items that people have made themselves!

I discovered Our Kids Farmin 2020, during Covid and it was exactly the beautiful serene setting I needed. I now rely on this beautiful store and farm for a bit of calm on a regular basis. Now, that said, I've also come to rely on some of Wendy's products! You'll never be sorry trying the goat soaps and lotions (the only bar soap I can use). I also can't live without the laundry soap, pickled eggs, yogurts, snacks,candles,fresh meats,coffee ....you get the picture! You can easily spend an hour just in the store.Give them a follow on FB too, keep up with the baby goat pics! Instant dopamine

This was a very cute farm and my niece had a lot of fun looking at the animals. We went into the store and were surprised at how many things they offered! I got some great soup mixes, dried fruit, and of course candy! Everything was delicious. We will be back!

I love Our Kids Farm! Wendy has made great soaps that are gentle on my skin and always smells amazing. The healing salves really help with so many different issues, from scrapes to chaffing. I visit no less than monthly to pick up coffee and other specialty items. I love the chicken breast as they are tender and flavorful.

I enjoy the expanding selection of local goods. They offer a nice selection of private label products that I don't see anywhere else. I always recommended a visit to this farm! It is nice to support local business!

Our first time adventure was thier fall festival. A very clean and organized farm. The shop is full of wonderful local farm goodies. The prices are just as they should for local items. All the animals are a treat, the horse and tractor ride was a beautiful added bonus.

Hidden gem in the area. Farm store has a ton of locally sourced items at more than reasonable prices. The goat's milk cheese is a must try. I bought the bruschetta cheese and it's delicious.

This is an amazing place!! The staff is so friendly and helpful. They have a wonderful verity of products and we ordered our Thanksgiving pies which I cannot wait to try!! Their stock includes Queen Bean Coffee, which is our household favorite!! We definitely recommend visiting here you wont be disappointed!!

Great place that support local farmers, sell local hand made products from soap, sauces, meats 🍖, cheese 🧀, etc.For kids you have the farm with animals to see and learn to love them.Great place to comeback because we did not have enough time to get ice cream.

The farm is beautiful. We had such a good day today at the open house event! Loved the animals and my grandsons were mesmerized by the chainsaw guy. Would have loved an icecream but the kids were pooped!

I visited for my 2nd time on Sunday 10/15/23. There was an event of "Jeeps and goats" I was told by the young pleasant people who told me where to park. I didn't stick around to see this event. I didn't understand what it was about. There was a DJ or at least someone playing music. I didn't mind the music. Also smoke. Maybe from a grill? I didn't smell food cooking. Also saw a tractor with a bunch of small type carts. Kiddy ride. No signs anywhere that I noticed to tell you what was going on. I went in for one item that wasn't available. I was going to get some other items but the check-out line was very long. Only one cashier so I put the items back. Parking was across the Street, far up in a field. My husband never could have walked that far. I didn't enjoy it much myself. Didn't see any handicap parking. Yes, have a permit.

Absolute best place to shop for local, humanely raised meats and grass fed beef. Cannot stress how important it is to buy local! And this is the best, most pleasant place to do so! Wendy is the best!! The homemade goat milk soaps and lotions are divine!!
