What a lovely family farm shop. The owner Theresa and her daughter Rachael took time to talk about the farm and made recommendations of other area farms we should visit. They have local meat and cheese, yummy cookies and pies and scones. The scones tasted (almost) just like mine, not dry at all. They also have a large selection of cute gift items.They make cool seed starter pots from cow manure to help reduce the amount of plastic that goes into the landfill and make use of something most farmers get rid of. This place is totally worth a visit!

We always look forward to stopping at Freund's on our annual trips to the Berkshires. Lots of selection, a variety of treats, and incredibly friendly staff. Visiting with the chickens in the parking lot is also a highlight. This year's highlight was a coconut custard pie. So yummy!

Didn’t appreciate being called greedy by the owner this morning (Thanksgiving) for asking to purchase two chocolate pies. I’m usually good about ordering my pies in advance, but my son was just diagnosed with an incurable autoimmune disease three weeks ago. So in between the multiple visits to CCMC, labs, MRI and iv infusions, ordering pies by the deadline slipped my mind. I’m sorry you’re frazzled, short handed and have had a busy three days, but I would trade you my last four weeks for those three days any day. Please be kind and don’t judge, you never know what someone else is going through.

Great place to stop by! Their pies are really superior, especially the cherry pie. Their chicken pot pie makes for a tasty and easy dinner too!Best produce and a fun environment. Their employees are cheerful and the bakery treats are lovely. Five stars all around!

An otherwise decent business with a good selection of boutique food products, and plant nursery. But I had a problem when checking out. My purchase was less than $10, I only had two bills in my wallet, a $20 and a $5. An older woman checked me out and gave me the total and I handed her a $20, she was momentarily distracted and when she came back to give me my change it was change for a $10. I said I gave you a $20 and she fired back I had given her a $10 and was emphatic about it. I protested a little and she stood her ground. I'm an easy going guy and I didn't want to make a scene, I do value my money but for $10 I wasn't going to get into it with a local.(Update edit) Freunds did reach out to resolve the issue I had, it shows they are a business that values it's customers and integrity.

One of my favorite places to go in the summer. Freund's has a wonderful selection of plants for perennial gardens. Ornamental and fruit trees (small selection of trees, but very nice) a greenhouse full of vegetable plants and flowers...it's fun, and relaxing, to walk around and find what you want. They have chickens to visit with and a very nice store where they sell fresh eggs, baked goods, and a lot more. It's kind of like an old general store. The staff is always friendly, helpful and relaxed. They remember you from one visit to the next and always welcome you with a smile and often talk with you for a few minutes. It's worth stopping at Freund's....it's great.

Staff is very pleasant and knowledgeable about their items. This is the place I first tried husk cherry. Definitely recommend to try and grow it in your own garden. Store is well stocked and prices are cheaper then name brand groceries. And items are local.

Love this place! I get my popcorn from Freund's Farm Market along with the shaky cheese to put on my popcorn. And the baked goods are fresh and very yummy. They even have lots of gift ideas . The people who work there are very nice and pleasantly friendly and willing to help you with whatever you're looking for. I give them 5 stars.

If you are looking to work here, it is definitely not for you. The owner is very rude and will find a way to abuse her employees. After working for her, my mental health plummeted; she basically told me that I was worthless to her.I recommend not supporting a business who abuses its workers.

Love this place. My wife was pregnant and I picked up some of the cinnamon rolls. I left the rolls in the house with my bride and she had eaten all of them! I came back for more and boy - those things are amazing. The people are great. Can't say enough positive things about this market.This is a must stop place.

This is a lovely garden farm market. Fully stocked, very organized. The market side has homemade goodies. My experience with local small business is use cash if your able. It saves them the 3% on c.f. transactions.

Stopped by this market/farm. The girl working there was so helpful & very knowledgeable about the farm/area’s history. They have an amazing bakery. You must try the apple cider donuts!

A Local Family Farm. A true success story of our times.. Hard workers.. Genuine people, offering a little piece of Country Heaven in the Northwest Hills. Lots too look at and choose from.. gifts, jams, and baked goodsTheir home made apple crisp pie was amazing,and their assortment of annuals, herbs ,and perrenials were still plentiful.Annuals were on sale!Thank you, Theresa, for a wonderful Sunday afternoon treat!

Love this place, so much fun with the amazing spoiled chicken and caws. Great staff except for an old lady that kept telling us to leave and refused to help us but the lady owner/manager was great. She even gave us 3 live organically healthy chicken for $15 box😀

Not a fan. They seem to have serious attitude.From what I was told by another farm stand, they don't make anything themselves as they were found to have bad water. I have not confirmed this so take this as 2nd hand info.But their prices are really, really, expensive. They want close to $20 for a pie. Crazy!
