Aria, the woman who greeted me at the door with an enthusiastic smile and offer to help was incredible. She grabbed what I needed, offered insightful information about the dog and cat food I bought. Loved the entire experience. Great staff. Great prices. We got our bearded dragon from there. They were very knowledgeable and helpful. I would highly recommend going there. Dave and Stephanie are the owners and the animals are there first priority always. They only use private breeders for the beardies they come from Ohio and are very healthy. They will even drive to Ohio to pick them up. They have a wide range of reptiles as well as fish, bunnies from a local breeder, guinea pigs, mice, and hansters.

Due to my recent moved back to CT a few weeks ago, I needed to find a new groomer for my 2 pups and found it near impossible to even get one to speak to but found this AMAZING location by accident, and so glad I did! They were all incredible to speak to where my 2 Westiepoo dogs (2yr old Tyler & 13 year old Thackary] were taken in quickly where the groomer, David, exceeded my expectations on the 1st try with them both. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! Thank you all at Pet World Brooklyn, CT. 🐶❤

First time grooming at this location and it was a great experience. Overall friendly and welcoming shop. My dog has never been so happy. Outstanding prices for grooming and a very caring environment. Much better than going to a retail groomer.

I would highly recommend! Such a pleasant experience David was very professional and talented, he made it look easy to handle my incredibly timid German Shepard. I’m happy I finally found an experienced talented groomer.

It started out as a great store. I'm unsure what happened. Everytime I have gone in since spring it just keeps declining. Nothing is every the same when you go in and not in a good way. they also have a disgusting amount of animals packed into a tiny area. I feel bad that most of the animals have dirty tanks, small living areas and are packed in with alot of other animals. the tubs and towels are not clean for self bathing and their selection of toys for dogs is deminshed. It's become a very trashy store that resembles a hoarders house with all the animals kept in it.

I love Pets World so much! I used to be a regular customer at Pet Valu and I was incredibly excited that a locally owned pet store was taking its place. So far they have exceeded my expectations and the inventory they have for dogs is even better than what Pet Valu had. I will continue to be in store at least twice a month to buy Stella and Chewy, and they also regularly have other things I need such as supplements, chews, and a huge selection of treats. I'm obsessed!

My groomer retired dogs were well over due for cuts. Got me in as soon as they could. They looked great when I picked up. Will be using there services again.

Was sent here on a recommendation from a friend and it did not disappoint! The owner is so nice and helpful and knowledgeable! We were looking for Chinchilla products and they had more than any other store!

They need to take better care to get the flies out of their store they have open cages with small animals and they were cover in flies and they need to keep the cages cleaner
