I have contemplated reviewing but have found as my chicks have grown up I need to write something.On my first trip there I picked up 6 pullets at 5 weeks of age. I was in the market for a specific breed. A salmon faverolle. When I opened the box I asked the employee which one was the salmon. He showed me a light colored bird. I also noticed a cockerel. Fine. The birds were in poor condition and needed some TLC.When I arrived home, I could clearly see there was no salmon faverolle in the group. I called the store the next morning and they allowed me to come back and pick up a salmon faverolle. The employee was very apologetic. I understood.I arrived to pick up the salmon faverolle a few hours later, opened the box and saw what I perceived as a buff Brahma. The employee reassured me it was 150% a salmon faverolle. It is in fact a buff Brahma.The drive is far for me. I received the breed I was asking for neither time, a cockerel when I paid for pullets and birds in very poor condition. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and never made waves. This is an honest review of my experience.I’m sure this place is a good feed store.

Great selection of items that might be hard to find. Has a propane tank filing station. Worth a visit just to see the selection of various good.I have been back a few times since this post, and I have not been disappointed! Friendly and helpful staff!

They wanted $60 each for a 16-19 week old (they don't even know how old they are haha )Layer Chicken that hasn't even Started Laying yet and there's ABSOLUTELY NO guarantee it's a Female..... Even....and the Worker said it is what it is....if you don't like it....Don't Buy them..... wow been a Loyal Customer for over 5 Years..... not anymore

The staff is friendly and care about their craft. Every time I've been in I've had a team member who was smiling. They genuinely seem to enjoy their job. For a shop that's not on the normal beaten path they sure are well supplied. Thanks to all of you for doing what you do.

Great place for farm and pet stuff. Some hardware and quick items but they are really pricey on most of their items. Staff are really nice and helpfull. Store is adequately cleaned. Would have given 4 stars if it were not for the high prices.

I like having a locally owned place to get chick's but we always end up with issues. This year we bought 5 Peking ducks and ended up with two Peking and three of some other breed. Another year it seemed like all the chick's we bought were sickly, and another year they convinced us to take a different breed of meat birds than we ordered and it was an awful experience for us. Obviously we keep going back but weve definitely been less than satisfied.

The young men who work there are fantastic highly polite and helpful. But there is an older woman who is rude and obnoxious ( not the owner an employee) If she is there walk out and comeback some other day

Extremely unfriendly staff that act as if I am bothering them when I request help or ask a question. I have been into the store a handful of times and have had the same experience each time. I have had better service at thompson's and mackey's, and will continue to spend my money there instead. The place is dirty as well.

Extensive farm &country supply with good prices. They sometimes have animals for sale - rabbits, chicks. Helpful and knowledgeable staff. They even loaded a bag of chicken feed into my truck for me.

These people that own this store are totally knowledgeable on all they sell.Animal care questions, just ask!! Great dog ,cat ,chicken feed. Plus a full hardware section in an extra section. Down home and relaxed .
