The staff is always so friendly and helpful. They offer a large selection of services including certified travel inspections which is great since I needed one to travel with my dog abroad. They always treat my dogs well and the space is always very clean and calm.

I find the staff friendly and knowledgeable, and the vets & techs clearly care about your fur babies. They have treated our newborns through our elder 15yo dog and been great with my slightly hyperactive barker, as well. It is a very well run office!

We are very happy with Brookfield Animal hospital. They are always caring and kind. We had to put our older dog to sleep. The staff were so kind and full of empathy. We highly recommend them and so do our pets! Tucker, Riley and Rocky (RIP)

Usually very pleased with service here for my dog. The front desk staff and vet techs are always nice and friendly, but I unfortunately cannot recommend Dr. Mixon.This last visit, my dog had a skin infection which we were given some meds for that didn't kill it, so Dr. Mixon prescribed more antibiotics and Prednisone. It was expensive, but we were fine with paying to get rid of the infection. However, we were displeased in having to work with Dr. Mixon. He presented as very cold and emotionless, and almost annoyed when we asked simple questions. I called about a week after treatment to provide him an update that everything was looking better, but our dog had started experiencing tremors and shaking/convulsing. The office was closed that Sunday, so I called an emergency vet who told me to consult the Dr. before giving him any more meds. Dr. Mixon's response when I asked if this is normal or cause for concern was an emotionless and flat "I don't know" and to just continue the treatment, since it hadn't happened before. Even with our 2 in-office visits, we were very uncomfortable with him handling our dog and left both visits with a bad taste.Like I said, the other staff and Dr.'s we've seen are always nice and I've never had a complaint with any treatment my dog has been given. However, due to the higher prices here coupled with Dr. Mixon's attitude, we are turned off in wanting to return and tempted to bring our dog elsewhere for vet services.

One of the few USDA certified Vets in the area.My cat needed an international travel certificate. Great go, my cat liked it, meeow. The nail clipping is fantastic and a non-expected complimentary service.The price of the certificate was exactly as it is being charged by the USDA to the veterinarian without any added fees, this is in contrast to competitors who were adding fantasy numbers along with fantasy explanations.Thank you, a service I can and will definitely recommend.

A horror veterinarian. The vet injured our cat during an exam and blood draw. The vet was clearly training a newbie who held her in the air! (no vet or tech has ever done anything close to this). She grabbed and pressed her down hard and flat into the table terrifying her. Then the vet botched the bloodwork when she did not take the blood sample correctly by repeatedly sticking the needle in and out of the same vein repeatedly causing extreme pain and injury that took weeks to heal. Vet 101 that you never re-stick the needle in same vein. Sheer negligence. Tests were skewed a result, and they were costly and critical tests for proper diagnosis and treatment. The person in training asked the vet how to scruff her (clearly showing how inexperienced this person was). Further, the cat was extremely cooperative despite horrendous handling and the vet replied to her with zero emotion, like Dahmer, “No, it’s not necessary, she’s petrified”. Of course, she was “petrified”, she had just been abused, mishandled, and injured! The cat is the sweetest, always easy to handle at the vet as she was on that day, and this was nothing short of negligence, in fact animal abuse. Also, the vet was extremely condescending, impatient, rude when medications, injury and skewed test results were discussed and dodged answering questions. This sadist vet, she needs to retire and should not be anywhere near animals. Please resign and stop misleading the public that you are fear free or want to be (clever and cunning word choices but false and misleading). There are repercussions in making fear free claims when hardworking veterinarians take the time, study hard, do the work to become certified “fear free”. Snapshots of you posing cuddling with animals does not make you a decent vet (or person). Shameful and disgraceful.

We boarded our dog last year for 5 days, our dog is 15 years old but healthy until we picked him up. He started limping the day after we picked him up, lost appetite, lost weight within a month, got weaker. We went to our local vet and the Dr said he had kidney failure and anemic. Granted that our dog has had cognitive disfunction for years but its a very slow progression, he's a tough dog and although he's a senior dog, im sure he'll still live up to 16 or more. We believe its the canine influenza vaccine which has been unavailable in the market for a while. We put our dog to sleep within 3 months but even if the animal hospital made a follow up "how's" our dog, we didnt hear from them after i express the issue.

The vets at Brookfield Animal Hospital are thorough, knowledgeable and responsive. Our very anxious dog has become at ease there from multiple positive experiences! We see Dr. Bogart and Dr. Datner, but I imagine everyone is good, because it is a well-run facility.

The veterinary hospital and office are very nice and the staff are great. The services are over priced and they will try to upsell you on everything using lack of knowledge and experience to push you towards other tests and services that aren’t always necessary. We haven’t left from a visit without an insane bill. If they want to charge an arm and a leg they should be able to truly justify it without making you feel like you’re doing wrong by your pet.

My first time there with my new kitty. I just moved to the neighborhood and was looking for a new vet. We were seen right away with appointment, they were very informative. Best part is the doctor and nurse were so good with my little girl! They came in with a calm voice and were very gentle. My kitty came in a little scared but left feeling secure. I feel completely confident and comfortable trusting my kitty in their care. I would recommend them to everyone.

We been using Brookfield Animal Hospital for roughly 20 years. During that time we have had five fur babies at any given point. They are all patients at BAH. We wouldn't consider taking them anywhere else. The front office staff and technicians are warm, loving, friendly and empathetic. All the Veterinarians are knowledgeable, up to date on current treatments, and take the time to get to know you, your pet and and develop a treatment plan or recommend what's best for them.We highly recommend them! ☺️

My neighbors Jackie and Arty Civitella recommended Brookfield Animal Hospital to us. Your staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and definitely shows a genuine love for animals. The veterinarians are extremely knowledgeable and caring. We would not take our Sokka anywhere else. It is great feeling knowing that you have a staff of caring professionals that you can trust with your pets. I recommended my co-worker to take her cats to you as well and she feels the same. Everyone on staff is friendly and accommodating to the owner and pet. It’s not always easy for my dog to go to the doctor for an appt or be away from home in boarding, but the outcome is always a healthy and happy dog.The cost of service is more than reasonable for the loving care and wonderful treatment of our beloved pets.

Brookfield Animal Hospital welcomed my elderly pets and me during a difficult week. They are amazing! My pets are now doing well. My little chi loves Dr Bogart and my elderly beagle was so relaxed he took a nap while waiting for his checkup! Not only did they take care my pets. They took care me over that difficult week. Just adopted my first cat and was mortified by the prospect of bringing her to the vet. My cat can be skittish and I was truly expecting it to be a nightmare. However, the entire process was quick, smooth, and painless. The front desk was happy to answer my questions. And, the tech/vet were knowledgeable, competent, and made the experience comfortable as they reasonably could for my cat. While nervous, she was never in distress and did so so well. And, I owe that to the staff that the experience was able to be so positive. Very happy they are my kitty’s vet

Dr. Bogart is amazing. I recently had to make the heartbreaking decision to put my cat down just before Christmas. Dr. Bogart was understanding, compassionate, and reassured me that I was making the right choice. The entire staff sent me a sympathy card and everyone signed it, which I thought was very sweet. My cat's ashes came in a beautiful box and the clay paw print is something I will cherish forever. I will always remember the kind way I was treated during a very sad time in my life.

Front office staff is great… caring, knowledgeable and really nice. Unfortunately not all the vets are. Two vets disagreed on the treatment for our pup. Unfortunately the second vet treated the illness aggressively and incorrectly. By the time we got our dog to an emergency vet, the damage was irreversible and we lost him 48 hours later. It didn’t need to end that way and sadly we have heard nothing from the veterinary staff at Brookfield although we did have a large bill to pay at both vets. I learned that if vets within the same practice disagree, you should get another opinion. I also learned that one bad apple can indeed spoil the whole bunch. I don’t recommend Brookfield Animal Hospital.
