Horrible store. This was my first job in 2011 and nothing has changed. The dogs are still sick always, they hire young kids that they can pay next to nothing and who don’t really care that much about the animals or the job. Walked by the puppy area and there were two little golden puppies in a tiny wire enclosure with four piles of poop in it, one of which clearly had blood in it. These poor things are most likely from puppy mills. For the longest time I would buy my worms here for my bearded dragon but fully done with them after seeing that. This place should have been closed down years ago. Stop supporting it.

Always love visiting All Pets Club in Branford. Such a friendly atmosphere, they are a pet supply store that provides products for various types of pets such as dogs, cats, birds, fish, and reptiles. So many options for food, toys, grooming supplies, and other pet-related items all in one location, making it a convenient "one-stop shop" for all our pet needs. We love stop stop by at their baked goods section to get Mia’s birthday cake and cookies, she loves them!

I do not recommend this place to anyone it was a nightmare all weekend trying to get a dog from this place, To only find out the day we would pick it up by the manager Doris who has been in this industry for over 22 years (per Josh the assistant manager) made one call to the financing company and told them to deny us after we got approved. Josh the assistant manager was helpful to a certain extent, got us approved on Saturday, and made sure on Saturday with us in the store that Monday we would have our dog. On Monday when arriving Dorris gave a very nasty attitude and a disturbing remark about selling a dog to a gay couple. They are selling mill puppies because Josh let us know one of the other dogs we were looking at had a heart murmur and was too small to play with. Not only was the customer service terrible but devastated to find out the dog was sold not only after a deposit was made but also after we left the store to someone else.The moral of the story is I think no one should purchase a dog not because of their nasty reputation but to save themselves the headache that this place comes with and their mill of unhealthy puppies …..

The fish department is very knowledgeable about their stock. I have two betta fish and two African dwarf frogs that are doing very well thanks to their help. The animals all seem to be well taken care of, keeping in mind that it's hard work taking care of a large selection of small animals and puppies, I think they're doing pretty well. Employees there don't seem to get enough credit! Keep up the good work!

I shopped here many times. Until I learned the dogs are from puppy mills. Many are sick and a local vet gets a slew of puppies with PARVA come in that were purchased from this store: The owner once left a PUPPY WITH A BROKEN LEG suffering overnight because he did not want to pay the extra costs of an emergency vet. If you want to support animal abuse, this is the place to go!

Just wanted to say a very special THANK YOU TO AMANDA at ALL PETS CLUB IN BRANFORD!! She gave our 6 month old rescue Harvey (who lost an eye due to Glaucoma) a beautiful blue Puppy 🐶 Party 🎊 cupcake that he absolutely loved! What Amanda didn’t know is that Harvey is a dedicated Therapy Dog in training. He visits a Dementia/ Memory Support unit everyday to bring joy to the lives of individuals suffering from brain changes. It was wonderful to have someone do something great for Harvey! THANK YOU AMANDA! God bless you! 🐶🐶🐶

I hope everyone that shops there knows that they are selling puppy mill puppies. Please don’t shop there and please 🙏don’t buy a puppy from them. If you must have a certain breed find a local reputable in home breeder or even better rescue a dog from a rescue or shelter!

This chain not just this store is horrible. I bought a puppy from them a year ago because no shelter would approve me because of my age. She is over a year old now and she has been sick since the day I got her. I have spent thousands upon thousands in vet bills and still she is always sick. They offered no help in trying to pay for her treatments at the vet 2 days after I got her. Not to mention when you finance with them you buy a dog for $1200 and end up paying $5000! She is not purebred anything she’s a mutt from a puppy mill. All I wanted was a dog to love and care for and now I’ve spent a year spending every single dollar I have on vet care for her only for none of it to work. Never ever get an animal from here.

this place is genuinely one of the worst animal stores i’ve ever seen. multiple animals with clear signs of parasites and are extremely under weight. also at least one basilisk with VISIBLE mouth rot. (mouth rot does not need to be visible to be a problem.) extremely over weight gargoyle gecko. none of the reptiles had proper heating or lighting/proper UVB. all of the substrate was extremely filthy, dusty and dry or soaked in water and almost moldy from the substrate sitting in water. all the reptiles/amphibians had little to no enrichment/places to climb and hide. theres a chinchilla being kept in a completely bare MAYBE 1.5x1.5x4 foot bird cage with no where to hide, no toys, NOTHING. a hedge hog being kept in a open enclosure with no heat, no blankets it anything for it to burrow in or hide in other then a large plastic hide that didn’t make much coverage. a ferret that is being kept alone (they need to be kept in pairs or more or willbe very lonely and bored) with no hammocks or blankets as well. this is just the tip of the iceberg. the staff there is on another level of lazy, selfish and inconsiderate. these people very clearly do not care about the well being of these animals whatsoever. i tried to point out that the basilisks looked extremely skinny and had mouth rot and they started to laugh at me and act like i didn’t know what i was talking about. another staff member was very clearly high on hard drugs, and was standing uncomfortably close to me and almost DROOLED on me. once i started talking to the manager there was another staff member that was standing around us and starting being extremely unprofessional and laughing at me simply caring about the well being of these animals. i cant even begin to explain how terrible my experience was here and how terrible the care and state of health these animals are in. all of the animals here are either from mills or wild caught. they told me that a “vet comes in every week to make sure the animals are healthy” but the mouth rot on the basilisk i held was so extreme there is no possible way the vet didn’t see that. moral of the story is it is so easy to for this place to actually have decent care for these animals but the staff simply do not care. they need staff that actually have passion for animals and bettering their care. DO RESEARCH ON HOW TO CARE FOR ANIMALS BEFORE GETTING THEM. SUPPORT RESCUES AND ETHICAL BREEDERS! BOYCOTT CHAIN PETSTORES!!!

I bought a puppy here and he is perfect. They had answers to all my questions and records from Mushu's first day of life to the day I got him. The price was fair (I paid in full). I got a wellness checkup at the vet In the first 20 days i got him and he had a clean bill of health! It is a great place to get pets and they have EVERYTHING you could need and lots of different choices. Cant beat the prices really...wish I lived closer!

I am so grateful for the all pets club. I got my first dalmatian luna (aka Anita) in 2019 and got my new puppy dalmatian Marley (aka pongo) let me tell you they are the best dogs they are so sweet playful and love to cuddle. I have no regrets both dogs are healthy no serious issues and I can't imagine my life without them. Thank you all pets club for my 2 furbabies. Also to the people complaining about their puppy nipping at their kids and adults that's what puppies do they like to chew this is why you purchase tons of toys when they start biting or nipping at you you redirect them with a toy it's called training. Your not gonna get a puppy weather from a pet store or breeder that doesn't nip. Dogs are hard work and the owner needs to take the time to train and ur talking about suing the all pets club? It's not their fault that is typical puppy behavior.

I used to like it here, they do have almost eveything you need, but last few times it's been dirty, and all the fish act like they are starving. The birds look stressed out and the poor hedgehogs, no place to hide. Made me sad.

Poor birds, multiple deceased and in poor conditions ( cramped with hardly a perch, dirty cages) when you mention to staff about this they don’t care whatsoever. This photo is from today 9/10/23. Their staff clean that they were just “ chipped” But clearly they are all deceased

I wish I could rate this place ten stars! I really wish I got the young man's name who helped sell me this beautiful, happy and healthy water dragon! After taking a look around I could tell that all of the animals were very well taken care of and the kid who helped me could possibly be one of the store's top assets. He was beyond kind and extremely helpful and knowledgable. Every thing you could hope for in an employee. Both Wolfgang and myself thank you!

Disgusting place. The hamsters were housed together (hamsters are solitary animals!), there was mold in the ventilation, not enough bedding... Bird enclosures way too small. And the puppies? $3000? Plus added fees? You could go to a shelter and get the same dog for $200. $200 that would go to helping other dogs. Not only that, but $50/year for the rewards program? For what, to save $2 on each item? Absolutely horrible. All these animals are mistreated and everything is overpriced.

I love it here. They were able to clip my guinea pigs nails instead of taking him to the vet which would have cost a fortune. Any item I need they have it. They literally have everything!!! I purchased my Australian shepherd from there and couldn't be happier.

This was my first and last visit. Initially I was really excited by the selection. So much so, that I took a video of the selection of fish available to send a friend who has several fish tanks. While snapchatting my friend, a surly employee rudely told me to stop recording. There's a right and wrong way to approach people, today I most definitely experienced the wrong way. I was shopping for some dog toys and food, but sadly I won't be doing business here.

So, very sad feeling when you see their reptile area. Cages are filthy with poop, no water, and no lighting on that they need in order to survive. The dogs were attacking another baby puppy. And the workers don't seem to know much about the pets and animals or how to care for them. This place needs proper management!

Bought my conure ace from this store. I was very wary of buying instead of adopting because of the prior reviews. I’ve had him for about 1 month and a half and he is a joy. Haven’t seen any sign of sickness and I took him to the vet ASAP! He was all checked out and was fine, a bit on the thin side but that’s no surprise because the food they feed the birds is junk food (seed diet). Only complaint is how many birds they keep in one cage. They had like 10 conures in a type of clear glass medium to small cage. But they are out most of the days not in their cages. The workers were all friendly and pretty helpful. But The women who retrieved ace from his cage explained how she hates birds and I witnessed her pull on another conures tail feathers. I agree with adopt don’t shop but these little birdies need a loving home to!

Seems like too many dogs put in the displays. Especially the larger dogs. Staff could keep a better eye on the floors especially when they're not busy and there's urine all over the place. My kids love to walk through the store but it could be better.

This is literally so gross. Hamsters housed together (Syrian hamsters are strictly solitary and territorial animals), MOLD, literally MOLD in the ventilation, that wheel is so tiny that is useless.I hope you will take better care of your animals in the future.
