Fantastic shop and lovely alpacas. This is a review for the shop and not the farm which is down by the Bozrah Farmers Market area. Try not to show up at their house, the farm, without calling first like that other lady in the reviews did. The alpacas on the farm is also the owners house too so let them know beforehand. Check their website to make sure they are available to give a tour as they do travel to textile fairs as most local fiber shops do. Highly recommend stopping in the shop in Fitchville if you're in the area and if you have time, go schedule a tour of their happy alpacas.

Stopped in while camping at Odetah Camping Resort and was greeted by the friendly store clerk. We were very impressed by the layout and quantity of accessories and clothing all made from Alpaca wool products. Aside from the Alpaca wool clothing, this store also features many food products from vendors around the state, particularly local vendors. Pies, ice cream, sauces, pasta products, cheeses, snacks and soda. Prices are modest, and quality is excellent! A great place to pick up a special gift, or a unique ingredient for dinner. Oh, and the best part... they will give you a handful of carrots to feed the friendly Alpacas out in the pasture out back!

It takes a lot for me to write a bad review. I came here with my 2 year old to see the alpacas. He was so excited. We pulled in and it didn’t look open so I didn’t get out of my car. Saw the sign saying they had moved and to go to the new address. We did and went into the store. I was eager to go back to buy some handmade gifts. A very nice lady saw we were looking for the animals and told us we had permission to go back to the original location, see the alpacas and that there might be a dog around too. Went back and got out near the fence, there was another fence between us and the animals so we weren’t even close. Another car pulled up behind us and apparently it was the owner. To put it nicely she was not friendly and told us we couldn’t be there, said it was private property. Well take your address off of Google if you don’t want people finding it. Especially when you are a business and people assume it’s okay to be there if you are open according to your hours. She also said she was going to go back to the store and tell the lady she was wrong for telling us we could be there. Sad, could have been a fun memory.

I went to where they make the products with the wool. Mary Ellen and her husband are the kindest people. They stop their work to show us around and to display how all the wool is made and cleaned and processed. They were so kind because we were actually looking for the alpacas farm but we ended up there and they took the time to show us around

Loved this little farm. The kids ages 3to 8 all loved being able to pet and observe the alpacas. They had their annual open house and the kids saw first had how alpaca wool was turned into yarn. Many displays and great food booth

Everyone there is friendly knowledgeable about the Alpacas. In the store there are beautiful handknit and hand crocheted items and yarn from the Alpacas. It doesn't end there. The store also has other Alpaca items, honey, coffee, ice cream, milk, pasta, and so much more. One side is like a farm store, the other side is the Alpaca items. Definitely a place to go to.

Very warm and inviting store. It had a variety of nice knitted outerwear for wives, girlfriends and daughters alike so guys open your wallets because the goods here tell her she deserves only the finest material. They also have a nice lounge area to have a cuppa tea or coffee. The owner is super helpfull and if you have younger kids, ask them for some carrots to feed the Alpacas.

Such a cool place. I fed the alpacas carrots and we watched them roll around in the dirt. We saw many items in the store made with their wool and picked up a few unique finds. Definitely worth stopping in!

This is a neat localy owned shop. They carry a variety of alpaca wool products such as yarn, socks and hats. All skiens of yarn are from the alpaca on property. It is processed, spun, and dyed there too. As for the socks, hats, scarves and gloves, some are hand knit using this yarn and some are imported machine knit products, but all are alpaca wool. They also carry local farm products like jam, syrup, cheese, and milk. You can see the alpacas in the nearby paddock, but they ask that you check in at the store before you say hello to the animals. They have a yarn exchange shelf where you can leave a skein and take a skein of yarn (any type it doesn't have to be alpaca).

Six Paca Farm & Fitch Fiber Fiber Arts Fair - Bozrah, CT - 6/13/2015Where do I even begin here... You really need to be into knitting to be into this road trip which quite frankly i'm not... However..., having a wife that truly loves knitting, there are things and place we men go sometimes that's not specifically for our benefit so much as its part of being a couple and spending time together...We started out at the different booths viewing many beautiful yarns of varying styles, textures and colors... There was even a "Betsy Ross" looking woman spinning some yarn... Next we watched the shearing of an Angora Rabbit. I never knew that Angora actually came from Rabbit. I always thought it was just cats. Ever so carefully with a sharp pair of scissors this woman gently trimmed all of the rabbits hair down to the skin level. A process that she has perfected and timed to approximately forty five minutes. All kidding aside this part was actually interesting...As if my senses weren't already over-dosing on what I have seen so far..., next a tour of the plant where they process the yarn. Lots of people and lots of machines creating wonderful yarns that one day would be transformed into one of a kind sweaters, wraps, scarves and what have you...Then onto the Alpaca herd where we saw, did Geico "Hunp Daaaay" sounds to and fed chunks of carrots... In the barn was a mamma Alpaca with her baby born a week ago... Soooo cute! And at the end of it all, like most tours is the gift store where they have on display quite an assortment of yarn related items for sale.If you're a guy and your wife is into knitting, suck it up and take her here. If you're a person actually into knitting - Come here. My wife and her girlfriend were absolutely giddy like two fourteen year olds experiencing all things knitting that this venue offered and had a really great time! For me, there was the added bonus of the food for sale at the venue... The Beef Chili was to die for as was the Oatmeal-Raisin Cookie...
