My baby looks absolutely adorable. He's 4 yrs old and for the first time... I've found a groomer (Chelsea) who knows how to make him look like a Bichon Frise ❤️❤️She did very well with him. He's such a fussy pooch, but she managed to groom all his important areas.

I recently took my dog Bruno to his Pet Grooming appointment. We been going there since he was a puppy with Chyvonne. I have always been happy with the service. From the moment we walked in, the staff was friendly and welcoming. She took the time to ask me about my dog's needs and preferences, and made sure to note any special instructions I had.The grooming itself was fantastic. My dog looked and smelled great afterwards, and I could tell that he had been treated with care and patience. The staff even took the time to trim his nails and clean his ears, which was a nice touch.Overall, I would highly recommend Chyvonne and PetSmart Pet Grooming Salon. The staff is knowledgeable and caring, and they clearly take pride in their work. I will definitely be returning like always!

My family went to this pet smart today to purchase my son his first fish. Before entering all the way into the store, we were immediately stopped by the cashier (as she was ringing someone out), and was asked if we were doing a return. Once we shared that we weren’t, but instead to purchase a fish, she then stopped us again and told us to wait because our fish tank was too small. We have 3 gallon tank for ONE fish. When we finally did ask for help we were ignored. We ended up leaving without a fish; despite my son’s excitement. We won’t be shopping at this location ever again.

Grooming is excellent and reasonably priced, with well trained groomers. I love the "report card" I get when my pup is all done, which lets me know if there were any issues or if she behaved well like usual 😊. The ease and convenience of booking online is definitely a bonus.

We love this store! We did the beginner, intermediate and advanced dog training classes with Sarah and she is incredible! She is extremely knowledgeable and knows how to not only train dogs but help you learn how to train your dog at home as well. Highly recommend.We also sent our dog to the grooming room they have today & she did a wonderful job he came home super clean & happy. Our dog loves this place. Thanks Sarah!!

WAYYYYY more organized than the others. The groomers were nice and in spite of them being busy and having their hands full, STOPPED, to service me. YES, They did my grand puppy nicely, and she wasn't all excited and anxious to get out of there.. says something.Sales were better in store than posted online.. thanksClean, organized and the employees weren't annoying. I'll go back..especially to get puppy groomed

Staff is always friendly, and the store is well stocked. I also take my very fluffy dog there for their bath service. The tubs are usually clean, and the soaps are stocked. Bring your own towel if you have a fluffy or large dog, as they only provide one.

Go here for grooming. 🙂 They are friendly and not lazy in any way. They will groom your pup with a leash line in a harness position. They do this for all their dogs. My dog has a genetically underdeveloped tracheal flap, which can cause a trachael collapse if he pulls on neck leash. Most dogs pull while you are grooming, even if its just a little bit. My dog is a six year old shiba inu, and I was told by the groomers that for his first ever groom, even with nail cutting he did so well. They did his groom when everyone else refused and were pleased to tell me that he was exceptionally well behaved for a Shiba inu. Thank you Pet Smart of Newington!! I can now have someone reliable to do my dogs grooming safely and beautifully when my family or I am busy or struggling with health issues, etc. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Had a great time looking around and shopping, the store was extremely clean and full of fabulous items for my pet’s, they had everything I needed, I was very impressed because there’s no other place I can purchase everything I need in one store, definitely will be the store for my furbabies.

An employee, Alyssa, verbally abused me and then nearly followed me to the parking lot threatening physical violence all because I questioned a sales price ringing up incorrectly. I will never shop there again.

I came to this location to purchase a few fish. I got 3 African Dwarf Frogs & I have to say this location clearly cares for their aquarium life very well! I've been to 3 other pet smarts & the ADFs there looked sickly & not in the best shape. At this location the frogs were a healthy size with vibrant skin color. I also got 2 tetras & a cherry shrimp, all in great health. The staff were super friendly, helpful & personable. The store was clean & organized. My new go to location!

Would not recommend bringing your dog to be groomed here if you have a mixed breed. I made the mistake of bringing my dog here for a bath and brush since my Goldendoodle was in need but our regular groomer wasn’t available. Although they got us in quickly, the gentleman who groomed her was reckless and I almost yanked my dog out before she was finished. I was given an original time estimate of 3 hours since they weren’t busy and she didn’t need a groom aka trim, etc After 5 hours I called since I hadn’t heard anything, and when I spoke to the manager no one in the grooming department knew where my dog was. They finally located her groomer and the gentleman had apparently gone outside to take a break. At that time he took my dog out from where they keep the dogs crates and she was already partially dry from sitting in a crate so every time the groomer tried to brush her fur that was already starting to curl, he literally had to yank on her to get through the tangles because he had waited too long to dry and brush her. Thank goodness my dog is a literal saint getting groomed because the way he handled her-I’d have bitten him. The only reason they get any stars is because the manager did refund my groom. But from not knowing where my dog was to seeing how they groom dogs? Would never go back for a groom there. The store itself is clean and overall well stocked. But the grooming was unfortunately a very sad and disappointing experience.

We went there yesterday to get litter. And some cat food.The cashier asked us to wait because customers in front of us just wanted to grab something.After a few minutes of waiting, my wife asked her to put the transaction on hold and start helping other client in the line that formed. She did not know how.We left without buying the stuff. I ordered the same thing on Amazon, they are arriving today.

Used this location for a Shot vet appointment to get the fur babies vaccinated. That did not mention that even though you schedule a certain time for an appointment, you will need to wait in line first come first serve.

Grooming salon is TERRIBLE. Store is good. I have no problem with the store, but the salon is bad. They are always understaffed and canceled my dogs Grooming appointment 3 times! No manager or corporate person tried to contact us to make it right. Pick another petsmart location for Grooming.

I don't mind waiting for my pickup order, but older skinny lady with grey hair didn't listen to what I said when I stood there first in line waiting for my pickup. I said I ordered online and am waiting for someone to help me. She turned her back to me and started ringing out the line. Then when I tried again to explain to her what I was there for she waved her hand at me to dismiss what I was saying with an attitude. Not a really great experience picking up my order after a 12 hour work day. Humble yourself some more lady. 🤦‍♂️😒

If you care about your dog, do not bring them here. The staff here treats my one year old husky as if he’s some vicious monster. I have NEVER had a problem with his behavior. He’s been groomed 10+ times and never once has he bit anyone, all he does is cry out and get vocal because that’s what his breed does when they want to communicate. I’ve always brought him in myself but a month ago I didn’t and I was told he was muzzled while he was brushed. He has never had to be muzzled in his life and the one time I didn’t bring him the staff thought they could take advantage. Just today, I worked all day so someone else took him in again. They not only looked disgusted the minute he came in but the rest of the staff refused to help him get up on the platform. They also refused to brush him on one side of his body because his head was leaned that way. This is not a one time issue. In the past I have also paid for a nail clipping and teeth brushing and they haven’t done it. If you are so terrified of a husky puppy you have no business working with dogs. I’m beyond disgusted with the staff here. Just because an animal does not have a voice does not mean you can mistreat them.
