This is the worst DG ever. Yes, they have everything I need, but they are so rude, especially the elderly man behind the counter. I get it that you want to go home. but SIR, you get paid to stand behind that counter and be courteous to customers. I will be shopping online from now.

I went in store to speak with a manager. The manager I spoke to was extremely rude, and outright lied to me and was as insisted that I was a liar myself. I will never return here and recommend to everyone to go somewhere else.

This store is pretty well organized, and with lots of merchandise choices! This store has very reasonable prices compared to the much bigger stores. It is also a very quiet store if you prefer something less crowdedThe overall atmosphere to me is rather bland, to the point where I feel claustrophobic. I have tried many of Dollar General's store brand foods and drinks, many I have found to be disappointing, but good enough in a pinch. However, the clothes are actually decent, excellent prices and quality on home goods, and a good selection of health & personal care items too!This is a terrific store to go to if you're on a budget, which is why I'm thankful for this store. However, don't expect anything too fancy, but what you might absolutely need will most likely be found here!

For the past 3 weeks I'll do an order online for store pickup and my order gets cancelled! They claim it's a glitch but don't see anything being done about it. When calling the store it just rings and rings. No one answers and I know I'm calling the right number. Prices on shelves don't match what rings up at register as well. Over the summer I purchased Oxi Clean in the tub and the price on the shelf was $5.75 and it rang up at the register for $6.00 . Went 2 weeks ago and it still wasn't fixed .

He was very rude they took all my money off my card and when i brung it to his attention he argued with me and called the cops on me and lied...He knew he was wrong for what his employer did...And never fixed it just made it worse...

From personal experience, I've noticed that the new manager, names will not be mentioned, has NOT been keeping up with store maintainence. Since this new manager has been here, many people who have been there since the store opened have up and quit out of the blue. Comparing reviews from a year ago with the previous manager, I'm seeing lots of 4-5 star ratings. However recently I've seen 1-2 star reviews more. This store was much better with the previous manager. I don't know who this guys is but he needs to get a clue...

My kids love it here. They want me to bring them here every day to buy inexpensive candy and soda. Since I'm a bad parent, I do. Nice gummi candy selection too!

By far the most unreliable place of business I know of, don’t let these fake comments fool you. The workers are very slow and sloppy at their jobs along with whoever answers calls, there have been many different times where I have tried to reach them but NO ONE ANSWERS. The cashiers are typically very slow for example (on multiple occasions also) there have been three or four customers in line and i have waited close to or even more than an hour and that’s with the customers having no more than five or six items each EASILY.

FALSE ADVERTISING! The balloons were marked at $2.50. They were filled with helium and marked in the floating bin at $2.50. When I get to the register he jacks the price up to $5.00! He's a gouger, watch out for this permittee. He said it was because of the helium, I said put a note under the $2.50 sign that says - "$5.00 with helium".

Winsted store... I went to buy balloons here and initially was charged for the balloon a dollar and another dollar to fill them. I said no.. that is not right. The manager happened by at that time and corrected her... but she said that was how he trained her to charge for balloons. He was not happy to correct the mistake, but I told them they could keep them as I was not paying $2 a balloon. The torrington store always charges $1 per balloon inflated. I said this and got a lecture on how they are doing everything wrong there. I did not need the hassle to buy balloons! Good grief!!!

This place was ok, mainly because a week ago one of the older employees there spoke very negatively and degrading to one of the younger workers (he had black hair and glasses) the younger gentlemen has always been very kind and quiet and it disheartened me to see him get spoken down to.

Sorry this place looked like a bomb went off, they had stuff in front of racks, items all over floor, never again for me, I was just looking for gift bags, I found them but they were all dirty
