Not someplace exactly to get excited about, but it fulfills a need here in quaint old Andover. Ever since Lunt's Market closed, there's been a dearth of basic foodstock items in town -- you either have to go to Ted's in Hebron, Highland Park in Coventry or Manchester, or Stop & Shop in Willimantic. From where I live in town, none of them are less than about 12 minutes' drive. The General is 3 minutes down the road, and if I run out of something canned, frozen, or a basic dry good like flour or sugar, then that's where I'm headed. The place is clean, organized, well-lit, and stocked with most of these kinds of items. Nothing fancy, just basic kitchen supplies.

Overstuffed and overpriced. No discounts on foods. Too many items, cluttered store, absolutely zero service. All checkouts are self service. All sale items will ring up at regular price, then no one will be available to assist. Poor excuse for a store and way too many of them.

Once it opened it has been good. May not have all the stuff you might expect but they are new.

Store is a mess and the male manager is awful, think his name was Mike, seems to think highly of himself when he can't even seem to run a store right, this is one of the worst locations
