Worst city ever. Last time I went I asked someone in the meat department if they had an item on ad in, they went to the back and started doing other things while we waited and never came out, I walked in back and they didn't seem to have any motive of answering my question. This has now happened multiple times. They have one person running the self checkout who is awesome, very kind, helpful, and respectful, but that's 1 employee, unfortunately. Do not go here if you expect to get anything on the Kroger ad, they never have it. Very small and cramped for even a mountain town.

We were invited out and needed a dish to take. We headed to City Market, our first grocery, to come to the area. The fried chicken was ready to go. It was delicious hot chicken. However, it was a cold day for a picnic.

Whenever I shop at this City Market, I am greeted by multiple employees. They always ask if I need help. They are super friendly.The staff make this smaller grocery store, shine!The produce is always very fresh and they have great selection. They have many organic choices. They offer many local items.This is a great store and really worth a stop.They, also carry my favorite local donuts. Get the ones from the case, not the pre-packaged ones. The are truly awesome!Their floral department is wonderful!They have a pharmacy.There is a surprisingly large selection and many services. This City Market offers pick-up. You can place your order with their app, then park in the designated area. If you don’t want to go to the store, they offer delivery, for a fee. Insta-cart does the delivery.

Lots of stars for sale prices, clearance, and gluten free options. Major negative stars because every single time I go, there are employees smoking and vaping near the entrance. Gross! If you need to smoke, please do it away from the front doors!

They no longer carry basic products. The deli shelves are bare and no one is ever there. I asked about the basic products and was told that they just don’t carry them anymore! There is never a store manager and I can only speak with department managers. The customer service is gone, they don’t care! It almost feels as if the store is closing.

Every time I shop here there are mistakes on my receipt. I’movercharged and have to go to customer service for a refund. Today is was almost $12 in mistakes on a $100 total. Unacceptable!

I didn't really have anything in mind when I went. I knew I was hungry and didn't want to break the bank. I spent about 10 bucks for some soup, snacks and a drink. A full meal and then some for 10 bucks. Can't beat it. The staff were also very polite and helpful.

My Family and I flew out to Hayden and Got to travel around SteamBoat a bit for the Holidays, really gotta say I love this Town!! Beautiful views Snowboarding was a blast and we actually like had a pretty Cool Experince with a Associate in your Deli Dept, i wanna say her name was Kayleen but OMG she blew my parents away with her Love and Knowledge of the CHEESE you guys sell! Lol it was funny cuz you can really tell she knows her stuff! Anyways we bought alot haha and took her advice on this charcuterie combo of meats and cheeses and my parents wanted to Thank her but were already back Home in Cali! Kayleen wherever you are your cheese was A Hit!! Our Shin dig was a winner for it lol ♡ Thank you and open up your cheese shop girl!

Lots of good produce. I like the deli selections. I can find all but a couple of the items on my list. Store employees are pleasant and helpful. And I do like fuel points!

I'd give this 5 stars for the employees. All of the ones I've interacted with have been so friendly and helpful! That is in all departments: pickup, produce, cashiers, etc. If they make mistakes they take ownership of it and get it fixed right away. There really isn't much more you could ask...The reason for the lower rating? This store is badly in need of a makeover. It's very cramped, has a very small and often understocked produce section, and (ugh) the parking lot... I know City Market may not have a direct management roll in this parking lot, but as the largest retailer in this center I'd hope they'd use their influence to get it fixed. There are no parking lines, the old ones are all cramped, trying to park around the pot holes (especially the one at the light!) is always a chore and just waiting for someone to twist their ankle or break an arm. It's about 20 years past due to be repaired and repaved.

My family has been going to this city market since before I was born, it's a reliable place. Smaller than a King Soopers you'd find in the springs with a somewhat smaller selection, but they still have all the staples you'll need for most days.

It is small so you don't have to search hard to find what you need, yet they still have a great selection. The employees in the produce section are always friendly and greet you. The prices are fantastic! The moment you walk in, employees are greeting you and they are also kind to each other. I saw one employee thank her manager for helping offload a truck, I saw another employee tell another manager it was a customer's 90th birthday and that manager went over to greet that customer and give her well wishes, and at checkout the cashier and bagger were so friendly and engaging, did not give me a "hard time" with the fact I was using rain checks and were very quick, efficient, and professional! Stocking does not occur until mid-morning. A 10:00AM trip should include an expectation of battling pallets and stockers in the isles with the chance that many items are not yet on the shelf and available. Meat that is on sale CONSTANTLY will not ring-up at the correct discounted price. Be very careful of this. Also, the parking lot is a mess! Poorly marked along with the need for re-pavement. The employees are great. Very helpful, courteous, and professional.

It's the local King Soopers, in the hills, we call it City Market. The produce here is much better than other grocery stores, fresh and pretty. The store itself is smaller than the ones in the city so variety is limited.

As other reviewers have noted, this Kroger store shines for such a small location. The staff is really what makes it special. I see many familiar friendly faces every time I shop and this makes me feel that I am doing business at a place which tries to attract and retain good employees. General manager Michelle and the pharmacy staff have been exceptionally kind and professional over the years I've shopped here. The selection is really quite good for the zip code (we're out here where the deer and the antelope play) with many organic choices and a great produce section in particular. It's also a good place for a last-minute gift as they always have seasonal and sometimes local offerings ready to go at the front doors.The only problem I've ever had is shoppers being allowed to bring pets in, which I don't like b/c I am afraid of dogs. I understand people need their service animals but in food prep and service areas the rules need to be strictly enforced.Thanks for the great store & service, City Market WP!

I do pick up orders and last may (5/2021) they said I had an outstanding balance of $100+. I have tried calling the main Corp AND the store getting the runaround. No one in this corporation can or has helped me in any way! They said it was my bank. I called my bank and the charge went through no issues. So I called the main Corp back and they told me to create a new account(which I can't because I only have 1 email) I tried ordering on a web browser (which was another recommendation) and STILL get an error code RV9547. No one here has the brains or courtesy to help or look into it. I have filed with the BBB in hopes of getting this taken care of but VERY doubtful. Please do not shop here as it seems they are trying to steal even more money from my family and likely yours! The manager is no help either so don't bother asking for him.

Like the store but their obsession with the saver card thing is cringeworthy. Asking me if I have a saver card and when I say no asking the person in line behind me for theirs? Uh. What? Can I just pay extra to not be harassed about your saver card program? Also, cashier told me I was paying too much for toothbrushes and that I should go to dollar tree..

Twice in the last two weeks I have gone into City Market for money orders to pay my bills. Once at 8 pm and the second time at 6:45 pm. Both times the same female manager has told me that she has closed out the service counter. Both times there were signs up saying lotto was down despite every other lotto vendor in town having no problems. My gripe is I got the feeling the lady just didn’t want to be bothered with my business. So for that reason I am tossing out my customer loyalty card and moving my prescriptions and food needs to Safeway down the road. Sorry I bothered your employees.

Store is small and cramped, poor selection, lots of merchandise blocking the narrow aisles. Only one register open at a time, so self checkout gets backed up. Parking lot is a nightmare, way too small for all the trailers and campers that customers haul in. You're better off going to Safeway or Walmart.

We make the City Market our primary place for groceries. I much prefer it to the larger box stores. Staff are friendly and helpful. It is conveniently located. It is rare for me to have an item on my list that I cannot find. We are not exotic eaters. Produce is fresh. Meats are tasty and we create our menus based on the specials we find there. I highly recommend this local store!
